AMAZING brisket, we loved it all. The Mac and cheese was outstanding. we are going back before we leave town.

I love their pulled pork sandwich. Coleslaw is good, but I wish they made it with mayonnaise. Extremely fast and friendly service.

Had the beef brisket plate and the beef brisket/sausage combo plate. Sides were baked beans, cucumber salad & macaroni and cheese. Each plate came with a roll. Food was fresh and relatively quick during a late lunch. The meet was delicious and tender. The baked beans were okay as was the Mac and cheese. Chill atmosphere. Would return if I lived in the area.

Excellent lunch! We shared the half rack of ribs, ordered two sides of cole slaw and a couple of glasses of the brewed iced tea. No sauce needed but we did try them all :)

Super friendly people and nice ambiance and most importantly very good food!!! A little pricey but totally worth it so I don't think it matters. A lot of sauce choices and all good!!!

Parking is limited, so the free parking attracted us. We checked reviews online, and the majority were excellent. As we entered, the heavenly smell wafted through the place. That clinched the deal. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and efficient. When he asked if we wanted to go cups or glasses for our drinks, we opted for to go cups. The drink machine was in the dining area, and refills were complimentary. We also got our sandwiches with the Coleslaw to the side, not on the meat, in the bun. By the time we got our drinks, and found a place to park our butts, we got our sandwiches. Husband had the pulled pork and I had the pulled chicken. Both were moist and tasty - even without sauce. Husband said the beans were spicy. They had a kick. The coleslaw was dry, sweet, and very good. We had 6 sauces from which to choose - our favorites were the sweet ones - #1 and #5. We savored every delicious bite. I ate half of mine without the bun, to get the full chicken flavor. It was pleasant eating inside. Frank Sinatra serenaded us over the sound system. Other diners were in our area, & we were all spread out. Note: If you are looking for a job, they're hiring as of 5/26/21. But you wouldn't know they were short staffed. Service was exceptional! And so was the food!

You step up to the counter and place your order from the big board on the right. There are a variety of sandwiches and sides. You can buy the meats by the pound too. We each chose a brisket sandwich. One with the tastiest potato salad that I have ever had, except my own. The other was a great juicy coleslaw. We ordered a side of cucumber salad with red onion and a tangy dressing. We took our table to be served. Each table has a 6 pack of BBQ sauces to meet your own pallet. We like the thick molasses spicy #5 the best. They also had a volcano sauce, but we were chicken! You get your own soft drinks in the room on the other side, but can order a bottled beer out of the tall refrigerator. Manuel, is the cook, and he did a great job. The sandwiches were stacked with tons of meat. Z was the young helper gal who took our order. Everyone was very pleasant. We will be back. We can see why they won all those national competitions with their wonder meats. Lots of trophies on display! They know how to BBQ!

In town for a work trip, and it's been delights all along the way. This cute (surprisingly big!) coffee shop and eatery is yet another moment of joy. Ordered the usual decaf flat white with heavy cream along with a cherry chocolate chip almond cookie (I had salads yesterday, yall, I owe myself a bakery treat!) and took a seat in the alley-at-turn-atrium. Tons of seating both inside and out here, coffee was quick and fresh and the cookie is just as good as the barista who recommended it said it would be. 5/5 stars, this place is legit!

The tables were dirty, and it was crowded and loud. Some of this could be forgiven if the food was great, but unfortunately the food was just average at best. Think Jimmy John's with avocado on everything. The biggest problem, though is that it is far from ADA compliant. Both my parents use walkers and getting them into the restaurant was difficult. Once inside there is a big step down to get into the main dining area. Maneuvering through here was just difficult enough that we wouldn't be able to return here again even If we wanted to.

The red has that deep, earthy flavor with just the right kick, while the green brings a brighter, roasted heat that balances everything out. Together? That classic "Christmas style" combo that hits on every level. The masa was soft and flavorful (not dry like you get at some places), and the filling was generous and well-seasoned. The sides sealed the deal--fluffy Spanish rice, hearty beans, and a fresh, crisp salad that cut through the richness perfectly. Portion size was solid, presentation was clean, and everything tasted like it was made with care--not rushed, not watered down for tourists. Service was quick, friendly, and exactly what you want when you're trying to keep a night moving. Authentic, satisfying, and exactly what you hope for when you come to Santa Fe. I'd order this again without hesitation!!!

We thought we might have got the closing time mixed up so once we found a parking spot, I went over to ask. They said they were moving all of the tables so that they could clean the concrete pathway. We asked if it was OK we sat outside still with our dog and they said that was fine. They moved us to the other side of the pillar which we originally didn't mind but then quickly realized there's no lighting there. So we were eating dinner in a very dim lit area. After reading the reviews, we were excited to try the fish tacos, tamales, and fresh chips and salsa. Unfortunately, none of these really were superstar standouts for us. The blackened fish didn't have a ton of flavor. I found myself searching for a salsa that had a little bit of salt and flavor to spruce up the fish taco. I ate one of the three and my husband ate the remaining. The tamales tasted fresh and the ratio of protein to masa was great. We ate the tamale mostly without the mole sauce, which we didn't really care for. The salsa and chips that came out as an appetizer were fine. The salsas were different and flavorful. I wish that when they dropped off the different salsas (which they do on a rotation) they would have explained what each one was.

You should never in life need a knife for oxtails, but the knife was warranted because we indeed did. Perhaps the food is better when the chef is actually in the kitchen, but he definitely wasn't back there on this day. My husband's Coke was flat and the Jamaican hibiscus tea was mouth puckering.
