Had a great meal here with friends. Hadn't been here since they opened. I LOVE kimchi & I've found a MECCA for it. I had the kimchi Burrito with beef short ribs. We also ordered the bibimbap bowl with short ribs & the arugula salad with salmon. All were FRESH & tasty! I will say that the salad "dressing" could have been tastier...it's JUST EVOO. Could use some vinegar or other flavors to enhance the arugula.

this is gonna be a really good spot once they get really goin. I always loved Café Sonder because it was the perfect kind of sneak away for lunch / maybe stay a little longer and work place... and they maintain that quality here. There are French dips, salads, Korean barbecue, hot chicken, and these things called sweet jars... And eventually a champagne and charcuterie bar coming at some point... The mac & cheese is comfortingly familiar and super rich. Fried chicken is a great crunch and tenderness, served super hot and fresh. It could use a little spice and salt... to be honest. But it's right behind dolina. Almost every dish is sized to share. even the mac! My companion says the tacos are delicious. I am really stoked for when the bar opens up. it's got a cool vibe. This will be a great place to work/snack in the afternoons.

We are always looking for a new restaurant to try and decided to walk here after Nukles Brewery. The restaurant is located close to the Santa Fe Plaza in the walkable area of Santa Fe. Parking can be an issue here, but it is walkable from the garages. The interior is modern and beautiful with lots of cool art of the walls. I love the neon art that is sprinkled throughout the place. The service was so friendly and great. They have a large menu with a lot of options. We decided to try the Nashville Hot food on this trip. My guest ordered the shrimp with the mild sauce. The flavor was great and the breading held up to the sauce well. It was crunchy and delicious. I ordered the tenders with hot sauce. The flavor was great, but I don't think it was hot. I noticed some beer that I had not seen before, so I tried one with jasmine tea in it. It was good and had an interesting flavor, even though I did not detect Jasmine. We order the Irish car bomb cup for dessert. If you like very sweet desserts, this is for you. The flavor is good, but it is super sweet. We also got an ube Rice Krispie to go. I notice that the couple next to us ordered from a different section of the menu. They had a dip and the sandwich was pretty large. They also had a bowl with beef and veggies, which was also a large serving. I definitely want to try that sandwich on the next visit. I definitely recommend this place and would return.

The food isn't bad. It's also not that good. The French dip (hatch version) was pretty unremarkable. The beef was tender and not very flavorful and the dipping juice was a bit like boxed beef broth. A $17 Caesar? Nice romaine but the dressing was so-so, nothing special. If $6; maybe but simply not worth the price. My wife had the Bibimbap Bowl with pork belly; a little more successful but nothing we would rush to try again. It's all decent and over priced.

too greasy. I got sick. The potato fei s were ROCK hard, and everything was slapped or thrown in the box.. this was my first time and last time. So expensive & to get poor quality food is depressing. Absolutely awful. Have fun running to the bathroom from all that grease from the spicy chicken.

This is a one-of-a-kind place, the Vietnamese fusion flavors are so delicious, the fresh herbs and vegetables pop with brightness alongside the perfectly prepared seafood and meats. We went for my husband's birthday and the Alkeme team made it an unforgettable evening. They gave him a free sparkling wine for his bday :) He ordered the sake pairing for the "sea" tasting menu, and wow, we've never tried sakes this innovative. You can tell the sakes were carefully selected, some more light, others more earthy, all of them excellent. I ordered the Sticky Business cocktail, and damn, it was amazing!! Their take on a tiki drink but less sweet, with a boozey foam and mango pearls. The service was wonderful. We got to talk to Chef Erica, which was very cool, and Vickie gave lovely descriptions of our dishes. They and our waitress made my husband's birthday so special. This restaurant in my opinion is James Beard and/or Michelin level dining. We loved everything about it. I highly recommend Alkeme, we'll never forget this special meal!

The crispy cod was well prepared and layered with flavor. The carrot soup was a little bland. The colossal shrimp and pork belly came on a bright, fresh, and somewhat messy bed of slaw and greens, but the dish needed a little more heat or sauce to bring everything together. The shrimp were also slightly overcooked. Service was slow and a bit fussy at the same time. The dining room is tight, which seems to make it difficult for servers to flow through the space efficiently, so that may explain some of the issues.

This was the spot I found myself in about midway through my trip to Sante Fe, and happen to find this Asian spot pretty close to my hotel. The Yelp reviews checked out, and some of the photos really were enticing so I decided to give it a go on a chilly night. It's a simple but well appointed place, just outside the main downtown area, and really close to the main rail station.. just a block or two over. Walking in your are confronted with delicious smells and savory aromas, always a good sign. I took a seat and was helped promptly. I had seen glowing reviews about their hot and sour sweet potato rice noodle soups, and decided to get one with beef. I also can't help but get some dumpling, and went with the spicy shrimp ones. My soup came out first, and was in a nice large bowl filled up with hot soup. My first sip was so incredible, I could not wait to plow through the bowl, and I did just that. Spicy, sour, hearty, tender beef and noodles, lots of well cooked veggies... it all came together beautifully. This was the perfect dish with it being cold out. Shortly after, my dumplings arrived, and they were the perfect compliment to the soup. I even put a couple in there to soak up that hot and sour flavor, and that was just delightful. On their own, they were plenty good. I have no complaints about either item. This was the perfect change-up meal from all the New Mexican cuisine I had been having. I recommend it for those seeking a curveball!

I ordered the shrimp fried rice, which came out quickly, piping hot, and delicious. It needed just a tad of heat-bringing spice, and the table-provided chile crisp was just the thing. There were lots of shrimp, and little explosions of nicely-plumped peas and corn kernels in every bite. My wife ordered the fried pork dumplings, which took an inexplicably long time to come out of the kitchen. The server apologized, but didn't explain the delay. However, they were large, perfectly fried, and very filling. She loved them, and luckily we were not in a hurry that day. We didn't order drinks other than water, but they have a decent selection of bottled sodas, beers, and mineral water on display, and they offer Thai tea, ginger tea, and iced teas as well. Everything says freshly, handmade, and the staff seems always busy and on task. Highly recommended.

Happy Hour runs twice daily with reduced prices on food & beverages from 3-5p and 9-10p. They have an extensive sake menu categorized by flavor profile designed for pairings, along with a lean but modern wine list including detailed tasting notes. Japanese whisky and exotic green tea (try the kuki cha!) round out a full beverage program, and deep booths offer private views of the lush valley below. Chef Kiko Rodriguez offers a four-course tasting menu at an exceptional value for $65 - trying this or any of Paloma's suggestions from their fresh sushi menu (only restaurant in New Mexico with fish flown in from Japan daily) will surely please. Gloriously chilled tuna sashimi was thinly sliced cut with heat from fresh wasabi and a savory ginger shoyu. Hand rolls are served in pairs, and the spicy tuna was simple, elegant, and delightful - a perfect showcase of the freshest fish. Before switching to dessert, shaved ginger is also snappy and cleansing. I was absolutely mind blown by the Sakura Pannacotta - delicate and dreamy custard textured like chawanmushi with soft aromatic cherry blossom and the most delectable shortbread accent. Three light courses that were fully nourishing, absolutely satisfying, and delightfully delicious!

The goodness began with Naomi, who helped me fix an error in my reservation and get a table at a good time tonight. The interior is classy and very comfortable. We were seated at a nice comfy corner booth. The soft music in the background was soothing and just noticeable enough without being a distraction. We were served complimentary flutes of local sparking wine and a fresh baked bread basket and butter to start. We then ordered cocktails and three starters. First was a split plate of the endive smoked duck salad with a warm bacon vinegarette. Wow...this was nice and refreshing. This was followed by the crab dumplings with fresh corn and peas and lobster sauce. Delicious! The final small plate was seared foie gras on top of banana bread toast. This was very good. I miss foie gras. Unfortunately, it's banned in California. They had a 2023 Sea Smoke "Ten"Pi ot Noir on the wine list. This is one of the best Pinot Noirs produced in California and not easy to find. This was a no doubter and we ordered a bottle to pair with our entrees. My wife ordered their signature elk tenderloin for redemption because the restaurant the night before failed at executing this. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop. This was cooked to perfection with a nice thin crust on the outside and a perfect very light pink juicy center. We ordered a side of brocolini that was pan roasted with shallots and butter. Everything was very good and Michelin grade in our opinion. Lastly we ended the evening and split the tiramasu type of desert. My wife had the expresso martini and I had an 18 year old Glen Morangie scotch neat. The service was excellent and worth the splurge. This is a must when visiting Santa Fe.

You can get them steamed, boiled, or fried, and you can get them in a hot soup made of an indescribably delicious broth with succulent vegetables. They also offer the dumplings in a "rainbow" assortment, with the wraps' hues produced only by natural vegetable colorings. No food dyes or anything synthetic. Each color shows what is inside, such as green for vegetarian, and there's an option for lamb or pork/shrimp filling, known as "Signature." We were a party of four on a birthday dinner outing. We had the large rainbow and everything was amazing. We also had the chicken dumplings with hot soup, and an order of the Korean BBQ short ribs. The ribs are marinated for a couple of days before searing them and presenting them with a mound of rice with black sesame seeds and a sample of the really wonderful homemade kimchi. The Angus beef makes the just-right doneness both crisp and tender. You should be aware that this is a small, family-run restaurant. Each dish is prepared and served separately, to assure freshly-made savor, I assume. So the ribs I ordered came out several minutes before the dumplings, and the dumplings in soup arrived a few minutes after that. We had no problem with that sequence, but others may. They also had an issue with the machine that makes all the "fancy" non-alcoholic drinks, so the choices were limited to canned or bottled sodas/teas in a cooler, and iced or hot coffee, or water from a dispenser near the register. But we were just fine with our selections. As we were leaving, the chef found out we were doing a birthday dinner and insisted on making something special. She came out several minutes later with a box of piping-hot sesame-coated desserts: little spheres with a slightly sweet red bean paste inside the shell. So nice. Takeout is big there, and they have amazing other dishes we didn't sample, so we'll be back, for sure.
