Breakfast Burrito- bacon and green chili

Love this place. I have had the breakfast burrito, tacos and frito pie. They are all good and reasonably priced. The breakfast burrito is one of my favorites in Santa Fe for this price. .

So while this place looks SUPER SKETCHY from the outside, the food was BOMB. My husband and I were looking for a quick lunch to take back to our hotel while we relaxed and this place was just the ticket. The inside is sparsely decorated and there wasn't anyone inside eating. The menu is also pretty basic, but that's okay! We spent I think $14 on two burritos and they were stuffed!!! I got a shredded beef smothered burrito with green chili and my husband got a chicken burrito with green chilis. Both were excellent! Little hidden gem- but no frills.

Green chile cheese fries, taquitos and beef tacos.

Tried this place out after seeing a post about their green chile cheese fries on social media. I ordered the green chile cheese fries, beef and chicken taquitos and two beef tacos. The fries were good but not exceptional, tacos and taquitos were both good. I went back once more to try the breakfast burritos and those were nice and big and really tasty.

Baja Tacos is ok. They serve a fast food type of taco. Service is quick, there is a drive-through, the food is just ok. I ordered the 4 fish taco special ($7.25). This was not a great idea. Do NOT get the fish taco special. The fish was a little old and had a stinky fish odor and the flour tortillas were not heated. The chorizo breakfast burrito with green chile ($5) was more edible and tasted much better. However, if you are looking for quality flavor and ingredients, this burrito is not the best you can get in Santa Fe. The meal is quick, it's inexpensive and it didn't make us sick.

They also highlight the reasonable prices, generous portions, and the cozy, authentic. I had the Chile Rellenos, and "amazing" feels like an understatement. They were perfectly executed: the chiles were tender yet held their structure, the cheese was beautifully melted, and the batter was light and golden without being greasy. What really sets them apart is the depth of flavor in the sauces. Whether you go red, green, or "Christmas," you can taste the authenticity and the quality of the ingredients in every bite. It's the kind of meal that makes you want to slow down and savor it, yet leaves you planning your next visit before you've even finished. Between the incredible service and the standout flavors, Tune-Up Café is easily one of the best culinary experiences in the city. A must-visit for locals and travelers alike!

Cafecito has been showing up on my reels and it looked like the kind of special I wanted. Just a few steps away from the Railyards, this place seems to be in its own island, in a quiet corner. The place is simple in decoration, with lots of plants, plenty of natural light, and a cozy vibe. The manager or owner greeted us. We started special the right way . Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.

We came in here on our last day visiting Santa Fe in the summer and I'm so glad we did, as it was on my list of things to try after perusing Yelp for notables. I had a scrumptious white bean-roasted red pepper-melted cheese tartine on delicious, fresh house-made bread topped with a balsamic glaze. I think it was one of the better dishes I had while in town. It was served with an array of olives on the plate. So good! They were out of the egg salad sandwich by the time we arrived, which was something a family member wanted to try, but they ordered an avocado toast instead. Also great and served with olives. The service was fast and thoughtful. Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. We found a great shaded spot outside for the five of us with a view facing the bustling bakery inside.
