After ACL reconstruction I took advantage of Dana's background in both physical therapy and pilates to help with my recovery. We tailored my sessions to complement the activity I was also doing through a separate physical therapy program. This is the best studio, hands down (both locations). The teachers are simply incredible. I end up in classes with Jen, Sam, Colette, and Shilah a lot but you can't really go wrong. Classes are FUN and have made me come to love movement. Most importantly, the classes and studios are comfortable and not intimidating. I've been coming off and on for several years because it's close, today was truly one of the worst experiences at an exercise class I've ever had! Imagine signing up online being charged for a class and arriving to find its full and they don't know who the hell you are? The manager did return my hysterical call to him/her when I got home did give me my money back and comp the next class, ok so they are cheap, 25 a class compared to similar studios but I wasn't going there because it was cheap it was close! So, so, so much to do!! I felt squeamish of the suggestion of going back to a traditional gym, but the equipment here had gifted me the impression that the owner truly cares about her clients. Great place! Sam and Jen are wonderful teachers for beginnings. (I haven't advanced to any intermediate classes yet.) My body is responding so well to the exercise. The vibe is warm, casual, friendly, and accommodating. The teachers really pay attention to any injuries and limitations the students may have, to offer modification, much more so than in any yoga class. I love this studio! Have been struggling with hip and SI joint pain for several years, and now both are almost gone. My core is so much stronger and balanced. The teachers are very knowledgeable. Dana Dreifus is incredibly smart, attentive and knows Pilates. I have been seeing her every time I'm in Denver for the past 4 years (my mom has been seeing her for 5 years) and from the beginning she has been able to see postures and movement that cause me pain and problems. I have known Dana for over 6 yrs and have been going to her on and off as recources allowed...she is just amazing...I have been going to her again after about a 6 month gap due to work and funds and I have only been once a week for a few weeks and people are asking if Ive lost weight and that my middle looks more toned!!! I started going to Whole Bodies because it is close to home and I was having some lower back problems. Dana has been working with my husband and me for almost a year and she is amazing. I was clueless about the machines and she has been so kind and encouraging. My husband who has a bad back problem has been doing great and feeling amazing. I have been working with Dana off and on for the past couple of years and every time I work with her, I learn something new about the movement of my body. As a massage therapist, I know muscles and movement of muscles very well, but Dana always explains it in a way that makes sense and she always makes me think about what muscles are doing as well. Love this studio and the instructors. Classes are small so you get lots a personal instruction in a class setting. Work mostly with Heather and she is amazing; thorough and so knowledgable. I moved to Denver 15 months ago and made it my resolution to find the right place/person to deal with my lower back. I've had a dehydrated disk, L3-4 and 5, for a few years now. I had been in almost chronic pain for almost three full years before I ended in Dana's hands. I joined her studio in July 2014 and have since then taken both private and group classes. Dana worked with me helping to stabilize and strengthen my back. It's been a long process and she saw me frustrated many times! But always encouraged me and I knew I needed to stick with it. I have worked with Christina for a year now, in Ca. But luckily for Co. she has moved to your area. In that year she has taught me more ways to care for myself and my body than anyone else.
