What I especially liked about doing business here was the desire to help a customer. It seems now a lot of businesses just don't seem to care. This business listened to what products I used and made the effort to get those for my animals. They didn't make me feel like it was a burden to get larger size amounts of food and the previous business did. It's more money for sizes I buy and this business appreciates it. Came to check out this place and possibly buy feed. I like to support local businesses. Well, I've been waiting for about 45 min for them to open. Outside signage says they open at 10 am but Yelp said 11 am. I waited and waited. Customers have come and gone, waiting outside as well. From the window, I can tell they sell different birds, chickens, cockatiels, and more. I wanted to give this place business, but oh well. Leaving now...it's 1130 am. Decided to give this place a try since we saw they sold timothy hay. Parking lot is pretty small and it definitely smells like a farm lol. We went there like 30 mins before closing so maybe that's why the staff wasn't as attentive? We were standing around for a good 10-15 mins as some guys chatted in the back, but when we were noticed the customer service we received was really friendly. Their timothy hay is a good deal being $7 for a sheet which should last us about 2-3 weeks, much cheaper than what we were buying online and our guinea pigs love it! Definitely call beforehand to check if they have any in stock. The only thing I would dock this store for is the conditions of their animals. When we went in it didn't look like the guinea pigs were kept in the best conditions along with some of the other live animals they had. read more

Gilbert has been there working for years, he's a great guy, knowledgeable and super helpful. It use to be bigger until they closed some of it down and opened up to a barber shop. The parking is terrible but with the cheap prices, it's worth every bit of the hassle. Buy your small animal feed by the pound. $6 for a huge bag of hay. I bought a few adult Guinea pigs here before and to my surprise, they live to be 5-6 wonderful years. Every Guinea pig I've bought from a big chain pet store, only last 2 years. Recent tip: they're cash only for a while. Found out today, 7/9/2019. This is a great local business that I have been supporting for years. I buy all my bird feed and grit from here. I've also started buying dog and cat food from here as well because they sell higher quality foods like Taste of The Wild, which is a well reviewed brand. I am a definite sucker for mom and pop business stores. I have been here for a couple years ever since I got my two Holland lops. I was told I was overpaying for Timothy Hay at stores such as Petsmart and Petco. I was introduced to this place by a fellow bunny owner. This place is on the smaller side and it is a little harder to find. But once you do find it, you'll be pleased. They have most of the same products as other stores and even various animals such as roosters? haha. If they do not have a product in the store, the owner(I forgot his name), will be happy to order it for you. He's very helpful and nice! Another prize find from Yelp! The guys here were very nice very friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure the prices are very good the seeds are fresh clean. We were able to buy our rabbit treats and cage shaving, the birds got sunflowers seeds and food. They have an adorable mini pony he is so cute not for sale, he is their pet. The pigs were in the back takung a bath as all of the goats and pony took their baths. Love this small place the birds nesting boxes are a good price, we know where to come now. The guys are so nice and so helpful, they don't make you feel stupid if you do not know something they will tend to all your needs, I am looking forward to going back. read more

Just stepping in the door reminded me of my Padrinos' ranch in Mexico. The smell of livestock, hay and feed brought back nostalgic memories of a sepia-tinted childhood. Big black hog included. If I ever decide to raise chickens, I'd probably go here. It was clean and all the animals looked healthy. For this trip, I just needed a small bale of hay for my new strawberry patch. Owner let me know he was all out of the small bales but could get some before 6pm today if I came back. I let him know that I could take it loose since it was just for cover for my strawberry patch and he kindly got one of his helpers to get me a sackful of hay for $3. Awesome! Price of hay has gone up to $6 a bag for Timothy hay. But considering that I bought a much smaller bag from Petco for $20 that my buns barely touch, it is still a bargain. Employees are very friendly and still help me load up the hay into my car. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by the other morning because I thought there was bunnies but the man explained it wasn't the season yet, but I loved that they have healthy snacks for dogs. I was going to buy a little but it was so little that he decided to give it to us to try! So nice! Even though he was super busy he still answered questions that I had so I really appreciated that.
