This is NOT a review of this particular store but a review of their website and mail order support…read more I figured I'd save myself a drive to this Canyon Country store and order my items from their website. This is the first time I've bought anything from Tractor Supply Co. (TSC). First of all, their website is INCREDIBLY SLOW in response. There's obviously a lot goop being loaded or their web server needs to be upgraded. Very surprising since TSC appears to be a big company. I ordered my items and was charged ~$10 for shipping which is fine. I was NOT given a choice in shipping services. I assume they were just going to mail it to me via USPS. It was to be shipped to a PO Box. The nice thing about my post office (PO) is they will accept deliveries from other shipping services. I've never had problems receiving shipments from other services like Amazon, FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc before. TSC shipped my order via a company called "Roadie" which I later found out was an offshoot of UPS. Again, I was not given a choice in how they were going to ship it. In a few days, I start getting these failed calls and short texts from various phone numbers, area codes are located in Georgia. I don't answer because I don't know these numbers. Finally, I get a series of texts with enough identifying information from this one number that I know it's about my TSC order. I text back to this number. No response. I call this number. It answers as disconnected! I call another Georgia number. It's also disconnected! There's a mail chute in my PO where services like FedEx, DHL, etc. can drop their deliveries. This is well known. It appears the people at Roadie are too inexperienced or lazy to ask about this. Roadie tried to deliver on Juneteenth which is a national holiday. Of course they failed to deliver it then. What were they thinking? This morning, I get a text saying my order was delivered. But the picture proof shows the package was put ON A PUBLIC TABLE at the PO. It was NOT dropped into the mail chute. This table can be accessed by anyone walking by at the PO! I doubt the package will still be there for me to pick up. I doubt whether Roadie informed the PO people the package is there, otherwise they would have told him to put it in the mail chute. I called TSC (877) 718-6750 to complain. I've been on hold all this time since I started writing this review. Going on 39 minutes now. That's another thing. It's impossible to reach a human on the phone! Needless to say, I will not be buying anything from TSC again.

Lots of new and used clothing, boots, and whatever else you need. Lots of clearance items that are an additional 50% off and just so much variety. We were shopping for kids stuff and found they had all sizes and styles - so much to choose from. I found the prices to be really reasonable - especially for the many clearance items. The best part was the sales associate, Zero (sp?), who helped us. She was so patient and kind and helped track down items for us to try on, gave great advice, spoke to my daughter (the real client, not me) and was just all around awesome. Thanks! We will be back.

Everything even had tags on it except for the coat! All for about $1100. Crazy!!!!! A couple of months ago, I bought an item online during a good sale for store pickup. When I picked it up, I asked if I would be able to exchange it for a different size if it turned out to be too big. They said yes, but this turned out not to be true, It was a size too big and when I came back for a replacement, they handed me the new one and told me that I had a balance due! Instead of exchanging it like they said they would, they did a return and pretended like I had not already bought and paid for it and the sale was no longer in effect. If you're buying a high ticket item here on sale, watch out. I was tempted to leave the item, but I needed it so I paid the balance and I will never shop here again. You can get a way better deal from the myriad online retailers. This is not how anyone serious does business, including myself in my own business, and they need to take a course or something. You never revoke a sale, especially when it's an item that is size specific and often tack needs to be exchanged. So much for supporting a local business. This is why corporations do better than mom and pop stores.

In fact what she did was say that she had only one bag (I had wanted two) and when I pulled out my cash and said I'll take the one, she only then said it's Timothy hay. I pointed out that I had asked for Orchard and she simply said again that this was Timothy. Why did she have me drive an hour in traffic to get there - not to mention I was now going to have to drive another hour home plus find somewhere else to get the still-needed hay. And why go in the back to get the one bag if she knew it wasn't Orchard? From four stars to one in no time flat. Don't waste a customer's time and don't try to trick them into buying something else.

My girls all started riding this year, and from day one Calabasas Saddlery has been our go-to. The staff is consistently knowledgeable, helpful, and honest, which matters so much when you're new to the equestrian world and trying to figure out what you actually need versus what you don't. She helped fit all four of us with the right boots quickly and efficiently, was endlessly patient, and took the time to explain options without ever pushing unnecessary purchases. Same goes for riding pants and other gear--her guidance has always been spot-on. The bottom line: Foothill Feed came through for my bunnies when Red Barn left me holding bags of,…read moreliterally, 'rotten' hay and did NOTHING to try to help ensure the bunnies had food. PLEASE READ MY RED BARD REVIEW - IT'S CHILLING... I was told by a Red Barn employee no hay would be delivered until Tuesday, 12-22-20, without exception, though I begged and begged and begged. Are those the words of someone who feels 'more special' than anyone else? Desperate to have edible hay delivered for the bunnies to eat as quickly as possible, I found a resource. Six days with no hay can be very damaging to a bunny's GI. Very stressful, I was able to obtain a temporary fix - a long story no one would find helpful or interesting. Exasperated, I called Foothill Feed and spoke with a man, Mr. Gus. I told him my issue, ad nauseum, because he truly needed to understand my bleak situation. He understood, and Mr. Gus offered a wonderful solution even though delivery was not available until Monday, 12-21-20. Guess what? After a brief call early that day, Mr. Gus took my demographics, expressed delivery would be sometime that day, and he would call me to confirm. He didn't...BUT Mr. Gus did one better; I received a lot of fresh, fragrant, edible hay early afternoon! I was near tears, the customer service was so amazing. Mr. Gus hadn't taken my credit card information during our call earlier, trusting I would make good. He wanted to make sure his hay was up to my and, more importantly, my children's standards. Not many, if any, retailers, would offer such service! When I called to provide credit card information, I told Mr. Gus how pleased my children were with the hay and how they gobbled it as soon as I presented it to them. Foothill Feed now has a long-term customer. I do not feel self-entitled in any way as told to me by Red Barn but circumstances WERE/ARE. This is the major point ignored by Red Barn. Please do yourself a favor...the next time you need something for your furry loved one, call Foothill Feed, and ask for Mr. Gus or Mr. Eli.
