We highly recommend this business. Just recently, we rescued a maltese mix from a local shelter. Being a stray, it goes without saying that he was very matted and dirty. Once we got him home, it didn't take long for us to call Dogs Etc to schedule an appointment. Our two other dogs, a golden lab and flat coat retriever mix also were due for a groom so we scheduled everyone together. Dogs Etc is very conveniently located. Priscilla was the groomer up to the task of making the dogs look great. When we walked in later in the day to pickup our dogs, I hardly recognized the new dog. What a transformation! I've been coming here for years. I love their work, but they have the worst turnover, which makes pricing really inconsistent. I have dogs with heavy coats who need specialty groomers that truly know what they're doing. On my last visit, the price for my 70/80-Ib dog jumped from $150 to a little over $400. Not only did the price keep increasing before I even picked him up, but the grooming itself wasn't done well. I tracked down my old groomer afterward, and she told me his nails were still long, he had a large matted knot behind his ear, and the nail on his heel was curled. So the job wasn't just overpriced it was poorly done. I've had great groomers here in the past. They use quality shampoo, the facility is clean, and everyone is nice. But Dogs Etc. has lost so many of their best groomers, and those groomers were the people who could have made this business truly exceptional. I won't be going back unfortunately. Also I always gave great tips! Love my groomers!! My update Yes it was absolutely here DOGs ETC. and I've been going there for at least a decade if not more. Like I said your shop is amazing but you have lost (or the past owners) many many good groomers but this last one was insane. We have 2 senior pups. One we started fostering in July. (Foster fail I should say). He's been horribly mistreated before we got him. So grooming him is extremely difficult. He's a grumpy and scared guy. They are so good with him and he looks fantastic! Our other dog is 14 years old and blind with a heart condition. While he's not thrilled to have his face trimmed they treat our dogs like family. read more

My friends and I have been to a few places to get our dogs nails clipped and we have found Dogs Etc. to be the best. My friends usually are the ones that take the dogs in, however, this time I took both dogs for the nail clipping service. I found all the staff to be wonderful!! I was greeted by the young friendly receptionist, didn't get her name. The groomer, Kenna, was just amazing. She was very gentle and kind with both dogs. She appeared professional and very experienced. I certainly recommend her. We always make an appointment, however, for nail trimming they do accept walk-ins. They can get pretty busy but we've never had to wait long. This is a great place to take your dog for grooming services. They also groom cats, as well, and their prices are reasonable. read more

I've been a long time customer as you may see from my previous review, but I am pretty disappointed with the new management. I was quoted $90 for a 10lb Yorkie who was matted. $8 for anal expression. My dog was done at 12:40pm. I work from home and had a meeting until 1:30 and a dentist appointment at 2pm, so I called to let them know I will pick up my dog at 3pm. I arrive at 3:20 and the owners wanted to charge me an extra $18. The place still had plenty of dogs left and it's not like they were closed and only waiting on me. These groomers are now price gouching. It's ridiculous. I used to pay $50. In the last couple of years the price increased by 80%. WOW!!! It's very interesting how Fay P, the arrogant owner of this dirty facility which I've reported already for their unsanitary work ethics barks back that I've left other negative reviews for other establishments. Yeah I've left good and bad ones as one who has a yelp account is supposed to do. Furthermore, she was contacted multiple times and refused to take any accountability for the situation. She came at me with guns boxing instead of hey I'm so sorry, I heard you left unhappy.... What's going on and how can I help? Normal business owner reaction and I would have been happy that I was heard and she would actually do something so it doesn't get repeated but no....Faye has to come back guns blazing because she's so shrewd and greedy as well egotistical that she will not take accountability even when she wasn't present to see what actually was going on. She was upset why I didn't want to discuss the situation with the actual Groomer Danielle....ummmm because she is incompetent since I had a 10 min conversation going over everything with her as she was supposedly writing it all down then I was forced to also fill out so many forms and supply vet certificates only to give the worst grooming experience I have ever had in my life. Also.....please do your due diligence and read the other bad reviews and you will see that she has a pattern of doing treatments and cuts against the owners wishes and again taking no accountability. She lies that she's been at this business since 1987.... She bought this from the original owner a few years ago and frankly driving it to the ground.
