We have 2 senior pups. One we started fostering in July. (Foster fail I should say). He's been horribly mistreated before we got him. So grooming him is extremely difficult. He's a grumpy and scared guy. They are so good with him and he looks fantastic! Our other dog is 14 years old and blind with a heart condition. While he's not thrilled to have his face trimmed they treat our dogs like family.

We absolutely love taking our dog here. He always comes out looking so dapper and the staff is the best!

We love taking our toller, Waffles, here! Waffles always comes back smelling so clean and fresh, and often with a cute little bow tie/bandana The service here has always been professional and amazing. It is obvious the groomers take pride in their work and that they do research on what the the breed's standards are. It's clear that they love the dogs and treat them well. Waffles has never been afraid and sometimes even a little excited .

Ive tried in SVC by trial and error through mobile grooming to find a "Gem" in this SCV. At 1st I was hesitant to stay as unforseen circumstances arose. Once noticed by Mandy at the desk, she called the owner immediately and I realized I'm staying. These people are attentive and my Lola & Chessa are so clean and happy when i arrived to pick them up! It's difficult to find Good thorough groomers as been my experience. I definitely recommend Dogs Ect. I feel it's worth driving your dogs forward to a positively great job ,well done established Grooming place. I look forward to returning and building a good relationship where my babies feel safe, loved and are in good hands

My friends and I have been to a few places to get our dogs nails clipped and we have found Dogs Etc. to be the best. My friends usually are the ones that take the dogs in, however, this time I took both dogs for the nail clipping service. I found all the staff to be wonderful!! I was greeted by the young friendly receptionist, didn't get her name. The groomer, Kenna, was just amazing. She was very gentle and kind with both dogs. She appeared professional and very experienced. I certainly recommend her. We always make an appointment, however, for nail trimming they do accept walk-ins. They can get pretty busy but we've never had to wait long. This is a great place to take your dog for grooming services. They also groom cats, as well, and their prices are reasonable.

I've been a long time customer as you may see from my previous review, but I am pretty disappointed with the new management. I was quoted $90 for a 10lb Yorkie who was matted. $8 for anal expression. My dog was done at 12:40pm. I work from home and had a meeting until 1:30 and a dentist appointment at 2pm, so I called to let them know I will pick up my dog at 3pm. I arrive at 3:20 and the owners wanted to charge me an extra $18. The place still had plenty of dogs left and it's not like they were closed and only waiting on me. These groomers are now price gouching. It's ridiculous. I used to pay $50. In the last couple of years the price increased by 80%. WOW!!! On the positive side, my dog was nicely groomed, so thank you Kim!

Excellent service with Feline nail trimming for our two cats, Sebastian & Prince Harry. Great groomer in SCV. I've been taking my dog here for over 3 years now and always had a good experience. Call ahead for an appointment, I can get one within 2 weeks of making it. They have raised their prices, $63 (without tip) for a full bath/groom for my 20lb dog. Teeth brushing, nail trimming & anal gland expression are all add on services. My only complaint is there is never a time frame for pick up. It takes anywhere between 2-3.5 hours from my experience. They also keep the dogs in a crate when grooming other dogs. My dog is a shelter pup so I would prefer if there was an area they could roam free. I feel much better taking my dog here than a Petsmart or Petco. The staff is very friendly. read more

We were able to get our dog in for an appointment next day. He has been here many times before, but this time he was still recovering from a knee surgery. Even though he was scared to be left somewhere without us, the Dogs Etc. staff was very understanding and kind. They offered to call if it was going to be too much for him. In the end our pup was happy and handsome when we went to pick him up. read more

We loved Dogs Etc. I'm convinced they are the best groomers in SCV. We moved back to the San Fernando Valley and 5 months later we still haven't found a groomer who holds a candle to Nicholas. I've even thought about just making the 45 min drive back to Dogs Etc because they're just so good. read more

My 5lb dog got away and ran into parking lot during her visit They charged $82 for what,,,,,two bows taped to ears and her whiskers cut off!! My little dog is a Chorkie Her hair is silky and not long enough to mat She is Very well behaved How do they get away with charging so much I am outraged with this poor service and will never return Don't go there Have ever known of dogs to run away from pet groomer?? The thing about them is I thought they did a decent job. But I tried another place in the valley and they are way better. Always go there for a clean/dishes, but I leave Everytime and my dog still shedding. They always blame my dog's fur. Turned out this new place never have that issue. If they cared enough they could accomplish the same thing as the groomers in San Fernando valley read more

My Pomeranian was shaved without my permission! I contemplated writing this, but I have to warn others. Took my beautiful fluffy Pomeranian girl to get groomed here because she was matted on her belly and under her armpits after her 6 day hospital stay. My regular groomer was fully booked out and because of unexpected events Kissme had to be taken to the animal hospital and while she was there her belly got matted because she was under heavy sedation and her underneath could not be brushed. When I brought in Kissme to Amanda we BOTH agreed that my dog was slightly matted on her belly and armpit areas. Let me repeat, Amanda the groomer agreed with me that she would only trim the belly and armpit area. I'm a Pomeranian owner and this is my third dog. I know that you should never shave a Pom because the fur won't grow back and if it does it won't be the same. To my horror, when I picked my dog she was fully shaved. Not trimmed; Not cut, but shaved. Please stay away from Amanda. What she did to my dog is unforgivable. I'm still heartbroken because that was in April and we're almost in July and her fur is not growing back. I'm including before pics of my dog, and after Amanda had her way. Never did I give her permission to do this. I'm so upset. I spoke to the owner of this place and it seemed like she was defending Amanda. If you have a dog with fur do not take them here. read more

Kind faces and gentle hands We brought our puppy golden retriever Bella in for her first grooming session and Dev was so sweet. She went over with us what our pup was to expect . During the session, Dev called to give us updates and reassured that she was going at Bella's pace. Everything about this establishment is great. The staff are always friendly and they are wonderful with my 13 year old house hippo. She has very thick nails and they grow so fast! Other places I had taken her to just "did the job" with no real regard to - is my furbaby ok, will it or did it hurt her etc. But the staff here took the time to figure out how to not upset or hurt her. They put her in a hammock thing and she just relaxed. Sure I'm sure it bothered her a little but that's because her nails are so thick. But it didn't hurt her like other places during or after. The staff is sweet, caring and gentle and I appreciate them. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Faye P.

Faye and Basimah (Owners) have maintained a deep love for animals and owning a business since childhood. Their journey with Dogs Etc. began as long time clients. Faye and Basimah acquired the shop in 2022. Along with the business's incredible team of groomers/bathers and their manager Nadia, Dogs Etc. operates with the same love and passion that its' original founder did. This Dog/Cat Grooming facility has a diverse and highly experienced staff who cooperatively maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for our pets and clients.

I prayed and brought him to the Puppy Boutique, and the sweet man notice our dogs angst, and kindly said, We will take care of Simba." Those words gave me comfort, and I knew that it would be ok. When we picked up our dog, he looked beautiful and happy! I am Grateful that I have found a place that knows how to handle my anxious dog and does a lovely job with his haircut.

One of the fees was extra $20 for my dog's hair are not being brushed you and I brushed with the day before. If we don't bring the dog back every month, the fees are higher because the grooming is more difficult for him. What is a competitive price becomes overpriced really fast here.

It looks like she just sat there till the last minute and they just cut her face. She looked exactly the same as she did going in. I drove all the way from downtown LA. Nice people. Lame service. I LOVE Dogs, Etc. I take my Bouviers, my Border Collies and my little Yorkie there. They do excellent grooming work. They are not only friendly but they know a lot about dogs and tips on food, and care. Bonnie, the owner, is very nice and personable, and always takes time to say "hi" to me when I come in. There is a good reason why they've been in business so long! They also offer teeth cleaning maintenance, which is really nice, and have a photographer come in every once in a while for holiday occasions. My dogs used to hate to go to the last groomer I went to in Palmdale, and they love going to Dogs, etc., (and I just thought it was they didn't like being groomed). But they are treated so well there, and Bouviers aren't easy to groom, and they do a fabulous job. Denna is my personal groomer there, who is an artist when it comes to grooming. But if she isn't there, the other groomers fill in very nicely. I drive a long way to go there, and I highly recommend them to anybody who wants their dog taken care of in the best way. They take time to listen to my questions, and I love the way they take time to get to know the dogs and the owners, so they can customize each individual's needs. Thanks, Dogs, Etc.!!! read more

5 stars all day long! Been bringing my maltipoo for years. This was the first grooming shop my dog wasn't nervous to return to. The staff is kind and respectful. You get to talk to the groomers directly about what you're looking to get done. I see Hannah regularly, but honestly I would trust all of them. It's obvious how much everyone in this place loves animals, the talent is a bonus. I now have 3 animals! I bring my maltipoo for bath & clean ups in between grooming. I just got a kitten that I've been bringing for nail trims every 2 weeks. I also rescued a long hair chihuahua/dachshund mix. My rescue sheds like CRAZY. I've noticed just bringing her 2-3 times a month for a bath helps tremendously. Can't see myself going anywhere other than Dogs Etc! read more

I took my dog Maurice here for the first time to be groomed for summer. He is a Shih Tzu, a little on the thick side lol and his hair was long over do for a cute. Drop off was easy and the shop was clean and cute. The groomer was nice and did such a great job trimming his coat for the summer. She square framed his cute little chunky face too. Good that way over priced. For a puppy just to get a sanitation cut should not be $70. Yes, nails, trimmed paw pads and the sanitation butt cut around the eyes bath blow out. So for a full grooming I'm guess would be $120+ he's only 8 pounds read more
