I moved recently and could no longer frequent my old farm supply store to buy timothy hay for my rabbit. I decided to come here for its convenient location and great reviews, and I'm so glad I did. The store is fairly small, but it's very clean, efficient, and packed with a ton of cool supplies. There is ample parking and all the workers are extremely kind and helpful. I bought a bale of timothy hay, and the friendly workers outside helped bring it out and load it in my car. The bale was humongous, the price unbeatable. The hay has a lovely scent, texture, and color. I can clearly see the quality difference compared to the packaged Oxbow hay sold at pet stores, and as further proof, my rabbit went for the new hay immediately. Since my car was too small, the hay bale couldn't fit, and two workers proceeded to try various solutions to accommodate. They laid down cardboard in my car without me asking, to minimize the amount of scattered hay. In the end, they cut the hay bale into two smaller batches, secured one in the trunk, and gathered the rest in a box for my backseat. Everybody was incredibly nice and patient the entire time despite my car giving them so many issues. They also gave me advice on how to transport the hay once I got home. Everyone in the area should definitely come here for their farm supply (and bunny hay) needs!! I look forward to returning. read more

We decided to check out this store because it had great reviews, and we were looking for chicken feed. They had a huge variety and the prices were really good! We were especially happy to see they had 11 lbs of mealworms for $40 - that's a steal! With egg prices being so high these days, raising our own chickens is definitely helping us enjoy some more affordable (and delicious!) meals. read more

Favorite place to go for my girls! They love the feed here and the staff are so friendly and answer all my questions that I have. The place can get busy but they are very efficient wide selection of feed here ranging for horses, chicks, hens etc. I also got a waterer and feeder here and they work great! Saw the same items on target and amazon and were too $$. This place is affordable and they treat you right. Parking lot is small but there's also street parking. Once you select your feed and pay, you bring the receipt to the entrance and an employee will bring the bag to your trunk for you. This is a great feed store! Don't let its small size discourage you, they have a great selection of horse supplies, bedding and feed at the best prices in the LA/San Gabriel Valley area. The staff is courteous and quick to help me load up. Generation West has a lot of merchandise crammed in their store, lots of fun to see what they have, I have bought sets of 4 horse leg wraps for a great price with very sturdy velcro fasteners that are at least 1 1/2 inches wide, that really hold up over time.
