When we 1st arrived the server (we had many times in the past) politely greeted us & asked about are day. We could immediately see that she was upset & on the verge of crying. We told her we weren't in any rush & if she needed some time for herself we would be ok with waiting while she took the time to get herself composed and she could get back to us afterwards. She immediately started to cry & thanked us before heading to the bathroom. After a few minutes she came back to the table. We asked her if everything was ok. She explained, the family that just left (before we entered) left without paying their bill. This family had gotten FOUR King Crab Meals, each costing $109. The total bill being over $400. The sever went her management about this issue & they informed her this was her fault, she would responsible to unpaid bill & it wouldbe coming out of her next pay check. Another table directly beside us also witnessed this and these kind people gave the server alittle money to help cover the cost of the unpaid bill. But ultimately this server was left paid this bill costing her over $300. Management treated this poor girl so horribly, they held her responsible for such a high bill & then told her to stop "crying about it"! This was absolutely disgusting!! Why is the lowest paid person responsible for this?? I felt so bad for her!! I know it would take every bit of her tips for the day, plus some of her pay check to cover this unpaid bill.
