Second time here! Love the rotating specials. The jambalaya was phenomenal with just the right amount of spice. Don't forget to order a slice of peanut butter pie for dessert!

NOLA fried chicken. A huge portion with four pieces, two kinds of relish, collard greens, and red beans and rice.

Great experience at Russo's last night. We arrived at our reservation early and were promptly seated. We had fried green tomatoes with shrimp, roasted garlic head with plenty of hearty bread, and olive oil with cracked black pepper for dipping as well. Glasses of wine and martinis all around. The entrées were great. Homemade cavatelli with chicken, fillet with vegetables and mashed potatoes, hanger steak with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and Nola style fried chicken, with two kinds of relish and collard greens. Not the cheapest meal on the planet, but well worth it.

Corn fried fresh perch bites with jalapeño remoulade

I have been here many times and will continue to come here. Food is really good and they actually cook here - it isn't food just off the Sysco truck. Lots of creative dishes like corn fried jalapeño perch bites. Note the menu changes. Service is excellent and sitting at the bar for dinner is highly recommended- get reservations. The bar is art of the kitchen which is very cool. Well worth a drive to eat here.

The food was not worth the price. We don't mind paying a high price but it's gotta be worth it.

Always enjoy Russo's. Great food. Best authentic gumbo around. Seafood creole is a must.

However, I couldn't help to notice how jam packed the dining room was and how loud it was. Tables are very close together and it was a bit hard to hear during the dinner rush. Our server brought us a birthday cannoli, which was great, but then immediately asked us if we were all set for the bills RIGHT as we took our first bite of the cannoli - seemed very rushed and a bit rude. On a positive note, the Carbonara was exactly what I had hoped for! It was creamy and full of flavor. The portion size was great too - I was hoping I had some to take home, but ended up eating it all because it was so delicious!! I felt very satisfied with my meal and the menu options.

We walk in and the hostess greeted us and asked if we had a reservation, if not we could sit at the bar and order dinner there. Not having a reservation, we found some open seats at the bar. The two bartenders were tag teaming serving us and everyone at the bar. Both of them were very attentive in taking our drink and food orders. I asked if they had any 'mocktails' and the brunette bartender showed me the section labeled, "The Dry Bar". I went with the Very Cherry Limeade and it came in a small tin mug with some decoration. I enjoyed it, I'm not usually one to get a carbonated based non-alcoholic drink, but less ingredients was more on my wishlist. The house made syrup all sink to the bottom of the cup. So next time, I'll mix it more with the given straws. Then our food came. My dad got a salad prior to the entree and quickly put it away. The entrees don't look filling at first glance. Once you start eating, it just feels like it keeps going. It is just so filling. The full feeling after eating is exactly what you're looking for. The noodles absorb the bolognese sauce while keeping the noodle flavor together. My dad was very satisfied with his baked rigatoni. Upon finishing, he did say he would come back with mom and my brother. I know I have been there before tonight, but I will for sure return. Well done to Leo's!!

I started with the house salad, featuring fresh mozzarella and a house dressing that perfectly balanced the flavors of the greens and cheese. For our entrees, we had the Chicken Parmesan and upgraded to the cheese tortellini with tomato cream sauce--they were absolute pillows of deliciousness. We also enjoyed the gnocchi with pesto and a side of meatballs, both of which were excellent. The only downside is the need for reservations due to limited parking, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it.

The staff sat us promptly and were so friendly and accommodating. Jennifer was our server and she was awesome! There was also a younger girl who filled water and cleared dishes that was so nice and very good at her job. Warm bread with oil to dip is brought out with our waters. We started with some wine and eggplant parmesan, so good! Then we got chicken Marsala and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, which I loved. Pizza is my first go to at an Italian restaurant....if a restaurant can't get a pizza right....well, Nonna Ts hit the spot....and the Marsala was tender and very tasty. Finished up with tiramisu ....omg, not a huge tiramisu and this was some of the best I've ever had, loved it! Loved this place, we will definitely be going back soon!
