The guys who installed the carpet, were a father and his son. His son stayed around for 2 hours, then left. I had a discussion with the father about installation, and one time he looked at me and said: "I hate this carpet!" I don't know what sparked him to say that, but it was in a voice as if he was ten years old. He finished the installation and I tipped him $15 (although I shouldn't have). The next day or so, I looked at the carpet and noticed a gap, so I called New Horizon and let them know. The person who answered the phone seemed surprised and said he would take care of it. He sent the same person back, who was angry. I showed him the gap, and he hit the carpet several times and emphatically told me: "That's the way it's supposed to be!" Then, as he was leaving, he looked at me and said in his immature angry voice: "I HATE this carpet!" I was glad to see him leave, and never wanted to see this guy again. Because the man at New Horizon sent that same immature guy back who threatened me and did a lousy job, made me distrust the company. He should have sent a manager back. He should have sent someone who was responsible and cared about the customer to fix the job. But he did not. He was complacent.

He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. While in their show room, they were helpful and attentive and listened to what we were looking for and guided us accordingly. AND, their prices were just great as compared to others. Once we locked down a date, the crew came in and quickly dispatched our old rug, prepped the floor and got right to work. The crew was friendly and focused and also very helpful with there knowledge and suggestions. Every suggestion was spot on for the end result. And their stair guy...he's a genius and an artist! TRULY!!! They didn't rush at all, and took their time to do the job correctly. They were funny and personable as well...no buttcracks showed at any time during their work...LOL.
