The short review: Carlos, Sam and Rudy did an amazing job at ripping out carpet that was over 30 years old, and installing the new laminate in the living room and on the stairs. They were professional and very attentive to detail. The price for this work was beyond reasonable and would highly recommend Ferguson Flooring for your needs. For the longer more detailed appreciative review: We did our homework, we went and got quotes from Empire, Lowes and Ferguson. Ferguson won out for so many reasons. They let us bring home samples so we could see how it might look with our house and furniture. While in their show room, they were helpful and attentive and listened to what we were looking for and guided us accordingly. AND, their prices were just great as compared to others. Once we locked down a date, the crew came in and quickly dispatched our old rug, prepped the floor and got right to work. The crew was friendly and focused and also very helpful with there knowledge and suggestions. Every suggestion was spot on for the end result. And their stair guy...he's a genius and an artist! TRULY!!! They didn't rush at all, and took their time to do the job correctly. They were funny and personable as well...no buttcracks showed at any time during their work...LOL. But seriously...you can tell these guys love their job. They were playing some tunes while working, singing along, chatting up with us...Just really great people! I've had great luck with contractors since I purchased my house 3 years ago and Ferguson Flooring is no exception. Shawn is great. He came out and gave a verbal estimate followed by an email quote. I was surprised when only a short time later he was calling to schedule installation. The installation was such a good experience. Sam and Greg are awesome. They spent 3 days installing approximately 1300 square feet of Mohawk laminate and the end-result is beautiful. They were very easy to work with and I'm still surprised at how they moved furniture around (including a pool table) so efficiently. I know they do this all the time, but it was a herculean task that they executed so well. Sam and Greg are great representatives of flooring craftsmen in general and Ferguson Flooring in particular. Shawn is friendly and professional. I was able to make the payments over the phone and promptly received emailed receipts. I likely have another 600-700 square feet to do next year and will absolutely be giving Ferguson flooring a call. read more

We set an 11 am appointment to have someone from Fergusons come out for a quote on new flooring throughout our entire house. At 12, I called when nobody from Fergusons had showed up yet and was told "he's on the way". 12:45, the owner finally shows up but doesn't even acknowledge that he's nearly 2 hours late! He also didn't bring any flooring samples with him for us to see. He was friendly and we got the quote back quickly which is the only reason for the second star. The quote did not list any square footages and also said "to install laminate or vinyl". Now that we have looked elsewhere, those 2 products vary in price drastically so what is the quote even quoting? I couldn't tell you! Because our time was not valuable to this company for a quote, I could only imagine once they start tearing apart our house. No thanks! read more

We went with LVP downstairs, carpet upstairs, as well as 5" baseboards throughout the home. Ferguson Flooring seemed very kind and I enjoyed getting to know the owner. Unfortunately they didn't install our flooring properly. Many unleveled areas and we have a new floor that snaps and is peeling. Shawn the owner came over to look at the issues and said he would fix everything. He never called back and made inexcusable excuses when I took off work for the day of repairs and no one showed up lying saying that his installer's wife was in an accident and at the hospital. When I called back a week later, the employee who answered the phone said he didn't know anything about an employee's wife being in the hospital and their installer hadn't been in in weeks and he didn't know if he was coming back. Weeks later, Chance, the owner's son, finally came to the house to fix the repairs and he said they would not be fixing the repairs and that his dad would prefer to give us money back. He said if we wanted really level floors we would have had to pay a few thousand dollars more. We assumed that is what we had already paid for. Now the burden is on us! No other flooring companies want the liability and we have to tear it all out! We can't tell you how devastating it is to start over. This company doesn't know fine finish work and does not take care of their customers. read more

There were several times that the project manager (Doug) checked in with me. He would let me know the progress, any issues, and ask me how to proceed. I had Chase come look at some work I wanted done in both my bathrooms and another repair tile area. I'm telling you I couldn't be more happy with his work. Laid rock tile in my bathroom and it's beautiful. Repaired some loose tiles in my other shower, it looks and feels brand new. My other tile repair is perfect also. He matched the grout perfectly. But what I did like was his customer service. Called if he was going to be late. Just the nicest person. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again. read more

Was sent here by my flooring installer and what a hassle. Picked flooring out and was told I would be contacted once they confirmed availability. Week goes by...nothing. I call them and they cant fine my order info and ask for it again. Call repeatedly on saturday to try and find the guy who helped me and learn he isnt in but was supposed to be in. Left messages for him to call me. No call. Stop by before they close and who is there? Same guy. Learned he cant spell my first name, email address or write my phone number down correctly. Was then told I need to pay for it before they check stock. Nope...not doing that. Get a call later in the week and pay for order. Just picked it up and was challenged to whether I paid for it or not. Proved it and left with my flooring never to return. Was told they are very busy. Seems to me they are a bit lazy and incompetent based on the sleeping salesman I found in the office this morning. Wont be back. read more
