They sell excellent quality vehicles and each time I have been there, they have treated me with the upmost amount of kindness and respect. I have referred multiple friends and family members to Adam Crisp and he has walked them through the buying experience with a servent's heart and a genuine desire to HELP find the perfect car. If you are searching for a clean, reliable vehicle, let Adam Crisp at Auto Solutions help you find the perfect fit!!

I purchased a Toyota Sequoia from S&S Auto Solutions as an out-of-state buyer. Before agreeing to…read moreanything, I provided my full Georgia address, ZIP code, and county, and specifically asked for the out-the-door price. All negotiations were conducted by text message and are documented in writing. I was clearly told that sales tax was included in the out-the-door price. I even have a photo of their computer screen showing the calculated Georgia sales tax (within about $100 of the correct amount), along with screenshots of all our price negotiations. We agreed on a price pending an independent inspection from a local shop -- an inspection they initially told me was unnecessary because they had already completed a "127-point inspection" themselves and through the auction. The independent inspection revealed several costly issues, including ball joints with an estimated repair cost of approximately $2,500. Based on those findings, we renegotiated and agreed on a revised out-the-door price. I informed them I would be paying cash via cashier's check and driving four hours each way to complete the purchase. They assured me the paperwork would be ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of trusting that everything matched our written agreement and did not re-review the paperwork carefully before signing. Later, I discovered that the Georgia sales tax had been removed from the deal, effectively increasing my cost by over $1,100 when I went to register the vehicle at the tag office. An "out-the-door" price has a clear meaning, especially when sales tax is explicitly discussed and documented. I have written proof of the agreement and will be submitting all documentation to the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs regarding deceptive practices and bait-and-switch conduct. I strongly encourage anyone considering doing business here to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly review every document before signing

My husband and I were returning home from Thanksgiving weekend in Cleveland Ohio when our car left…read moreus stranded on top of Rarity Mountain, Tennessee. After calling AAA and having the car towed to Twin City Nissan in Alcoa Tennessee where a nice man named Brown said we could leave it after hours and that they would look at it first thing the next morning. That was so nice, given that we were stuck out of state and were trying to get back home. The next morning we called and spoke with a man named Jodie, who said their diagnostic work showed that we had a blown head gasket. Ouch. That's a huge repair. We decided that we would rent a car to get back home to Atlanta and have the car towed back home a few days later. Twin City allowed us to leave our broken car there for on the lot for three days until AAA came and picked it up. Not only did Twin City Nissan NOT charge us a three day storage fee, but they also didn't even charge us for the diagnostic. (Our dealer in Roswell GA would have charged us $139 for that). They were so friendly and helpful and we can't thank them enough. The kindness and caring nature of the folks here helped make a crappy situation a little better. :o)

I would not recommend this dealership. Went in to purchase a vehicle and expected the online…read moreprice. I was not planning to negotiate and was willing to pay cash. They politely offered the same price as online and then when drafting the paperwork, added a $3200 "adjustment" and $1500 for fees in the quote, making the "discounted" vehicle more than sticker. When asking about the mark up, they were honest and said that is their additional profit and that they do not actually sell cars at the advertised price. I went to another dealership and purchased the exact same vehicle without the markup and with reasonable fees. Buyer beware. They will use deceptive practices to mark the vehicle up. Be sure to check your contract.

If you care at all about honesty, transparency, or basic respect, avoid Ole Ben Franklin Motors…read moreAlcoa at 911 Louisville Rd, Alcoa, TN 37701. This dealership has proven, IN WRITING, that they will change their story, refuse to honor their own offer, and then insult and attempt to intimidate you when you call them out. I was contacted by an employee named Brooklyn on Facebook Marketplace and invited to bring in my car for an appraisal. On October 17th, I was given a $17,000 verbal offer and told it would be good for 30 days. I returned exactly 14 days later -- well within the timeframe I was given -- ready to complete the sale. Instead, they suddenly dropped the offer to $15,000 and refused to accept even $16,000, which I offered in person. When I reminded Brooklyn of the original offer, she did not deny the amount or the date. Instead, she wrote: "i also know that we never say a month, we say 2 weeks." That makes the situation even worse, because I returned on day 14 -- exactly inside that "2-week" window -- and they still refused to honor the quote. She later confirmed the offer had been real by writing: "offer stood, then it went away." That is not a misunderstanding. That is not a negotiation issue. That is a dealership knowingly making an offer, acknowledging it, and refusing to stand behind it. After I left, calmly, without raising my voice or causing a scene, the messages from Brooklyn became openly unprofessional. She attempted to intimidate me by writing: "i sat right here and recorded your whole interaction." She was not present during the conversation she claims to have recorded. Tennessee is a one-party consent state, which means it is illegal to record a private conversation you were not part of and do not have permission to record. So she was either lying as a scare tactic, or admitting to doing something unlawful. Neither reflects ethical business behavior. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: If this dealership truly does have a recording, I openly invite them to post it in response to this review so everyone can see how I conducted myself. I remained polite and professional the entire time. I have nothing to hide, and they already know that. Once the intimidation angle failed, the tone shifted to disrespect and sarcasm. She wrote: "you clearly are having trouble selling it for what you want. what would make you think we would want it at that price..." and finally: "im sorry your feelings are hurt." That is the level of customer service this dealership considers acceptable. I walked in with a clean title, a well-maintained vehicle, and a willingness to sell. I was met with dishonesty, bait-and-switch tactics, and childish behavior when I pushed back. If this is how they treat someone who hasn't even purchased a car from them yet, imagine what happens once they have your money and you're stuck with them. There are dealerships in East Tennessee that honor their word, communicate professionally, and don't threaten or mock customers when confronted. Ole Ben Franklin Motors Alcoa is not one of them. I will never do business with them again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them as well. Full Messenger screenshots are attached to this review.
