Stopped by today to get some work done after being holed up in the apartment for months. We took the chance to do a quick study date, a desperately needed change from studying at home since this pandemic hit. They've done a nice job of implementing social distancing rules. Every other table is marked off, a sign is posted up at the front asking patrons to wear masks prior to entering the bakery, and large hand sanitizer placed outside for your convenience. A worker comes around and sanitizes all the tables. Inside is a beautifully decorated and brightly lit bakery. A huge HUGE plus for me is that near a majority of the tables there is an outlet plug within reach. This is a major plus for me since I tend to do a lot of my work on my computer and the battery drains so quickly. I honestly really appreciate how this bakery offers actual food items other than just the baked goods. Granted it's only from 7:30am-3pm, it's definitely nice to know I can fill up on something other than just buns or cakes. Fairly spacious with two large community tables placed in the middle (with social distancing implemented) I can see this place bustling with patrons had these circumstances not affected us. They even offer a nice patio area that offers a good number of tables for those who would like to enjoy the outside air/want to go the extra length to social distance from the other patrons. Drinks and food wise, I enjoyed my W Berry Lemonade. A little more on the sour side it was refreshing and something I think the kids will enjoy. The Milk Tea drink is pretty good though they make it from a powder base. Since we arrived a little late, we didn't get to enjoy the kitchen items though we would've liked to. The food I did have was the Honey Comb Bread which had a crunchy exterior and fluffy interior that wasn't too overly sweet. I liked this option of a honey toast bread since it's a lot simpler. In all, this seems like a very nice spot for a date night, study date, or even just friends meeting up. Had this been different circumstances I would've loved to bring friends here. read more

I been to different White Windmill Bakeries but this one is my absolute favorite one! I believe it's fairly new and it's located near Sugarloaf Mills. The staff is attentive and nice. Inside the cafe it has this open concept and it's really spacious with many seating options. Usually, I come here to study or just hang out. I love the outside decor and seating too. When there is nice weather I usually sit out there and chill. It's a Korean cafe and they offer a variety of coffee drinks and baked goods. I have tried the macaroons, iced house coffee, frappes and fruit fresh cream cake. The iced house coffee has a great taste to it and it's not overbearing. One of my favorite items to order. The fruit fresh cream cake is light and airy. Therefore, this bakery and cafe is a great place to chill, grab snacks or study at. Give this place a try, it's worth it! read more

Went for breakfast with my wife. The coffee was great and the location was clean and cozy. The panini sandwiches were filling and the cakes were delicious. Literally the best tiramisu cake ever! Only came in to pick up some desserts for after dinner treat. Picked up slices of the red velvet and the blueberry cream cake. Also picked up 4 pack of the cheese bread. The cheese bread is to die for... . Good thing small popovers or would have eaten a whole loaf all in one sitting. The red velvet and cream cake were amazing. Fresh, tasty and delicious. Little pricey so will limit trips over which is probably best for the waistline. Will be dreaming of the cheese bread until next time! read more

Came back to try their cold brew new menu item: Dolce Latte. Like its close relative, Korean Iced House Coffee, this is super creamy. I prefer my coffee with a bit more bean juice bite and kick like how the traditional Korean iced coffee is sssstrong. Customer service was terrible, went in there with my mother to buy a cake. We were ignored for at least 10-15 minutes. The two workers just kept talking to a customer who had already paid while we were standing behind them just waiting for them to finish talking. We had to ask them if someone could help us. Did not greet us nor apologize for the wait, we were about to take our business elsewhere. Then they didn't close the cake box properly and when they handed it to us the cake almost fell out because the box came undone. read more

This has become a great place to come for coffee breads baked goods and breakfast sandwiches. Came here with my parents today and must say they have improved a lot since they first opened which is saying a lot because my wife as well as close friend told me they didn't like this place before. I will be happy to update them and let them know that they have improved leaps and bounds and are a great place to come. The coffee here is fantastic if you need cream they give it to you in a small cup and their sandwiches their breakfast sandwiches specifically are delicious and wholesome. The parking here is a little small but there is plenty of parking so that shouldn't be a problem access to this building is not hard at all it is right across from sub of subs and next to Primerica off of meadow Church road and Duluth highway. Ask for Sun, he is diligent, kind, and a hard worker and give him a high five for me. I plan on coming here as long as my wallet allows and look forward to introducing them to many friends and recommending them. Five Yelp stars for them and thank you to the owners for being here. The interior is very pretty and very spacious. It's a good place to study or just hang out with your friends :) I usually get the ice peach tea which is my favorite drink there. The raspberry cake is also very good there is some coconut pieces on the bottom as well as a cookie. I also tried the milk tea as well which is very good. The first time I visited, this place could have been a quick take-out type of thing but I decided to sit-in. Their interior arrangement, furniture, and decorations is just so inviting.. kind of almost like a wedding reception?? Out of all the Korean bakeries I've been to this one just stands out. If you have a big party of 12 people, for example, they got the long table. If you are a party of one with a computer, plenty spots spaced out (yes, electric outlets are easy to find). Me and the bestie be going here. I get me a oreo shake here. So good, and they have dairy alternatives so i always get it with either oat milk or almond milk. Depending on how I feel. So good. Super cute cafe. Perfect for a coffee date or for a quick lunch. I see people studying here or working as well but it's not usually quiet so not sure if I would choose it as a study spot but to each their own. They have hands down the best iced coffees imo. They offer dairy free coffees which is a plus. My husband always goes for the iced caramel macchiato and I typically get an iced latte with soy. Alllll of the pastries are insanely good but anything with the cream cheese my family goes crazy over. Obviously they have gorgeous Korean style cakes and the popular fish bread and bubble smoothies as well. We've stopped by here many many times and even my out of town family loves stopping by once or twice during their stay for a coffee and pastries. The staff is really nice- they accidentally made my coffee with milk one time and they realized it before I drank any and quickly made me a new one and said I could also keep the original one! I thought that was really nice. One tip though - most pastries sell out before the late afternoon...if you want to get something specific I would advise visiting in the morning before lunch! Today I took 2 sips of my latte and had to walk back inside to see if they had made a mistake. It tasted like weak, watered down coffee with milk. Unfortunately this was how it was supposed to taste, as I was told the settings on the espresso machine had been changed by management recently to add more water. I'm adding this review so that management knows just how noticeable and unpalatable the change was. Hoping their espresso drinks are back to the old way soon, but until then there are many other coffee shops nearby! read more

We were visiting the area and this place popped up on Yelp for me. So decided to give it a try from the reviews. It's beautiful inside Very clean and spacious! Food is priced kind of high depending on what you get. I had the White windmill Panini and it's like a California Club w egg and avocado. All in all I am giving it 6/10 bc it wasn't giving me anything special. The bacon was soggy, not super flavorful and the tomato aioli left more to the imagination than expected. Turkey and avocado was pretty plain as well. I will say the star of the show became the Thai Bubble Tea. As it was spot on w the taste of Thai Tea. My 3 year old really loved it. He had the grilled cheese sandwich which came w Vickies chips. Both sandwiches come w chips and a small bread and butter pickle. In total everything I got cost approximately $24 so it was a pretty expensive lunch for it to not be stellar in my opinion. The desserts looked nice from the case but perhaps I'll give them a try next time. read more

Beautiful place but the staffs need more training. My husband asked for a stirrer and the guy at the counter said they had none and he can get the straw to stir his coffee!? I used to go to the same bakery near Doraville when I worked there. I am very happy it is now open near Sugarloaf. This place is quiet and bright to do things like simplework or study. People working here are very nice and friendly as well. Since this place is new, it is overall super clean and modern. As for the food selection, I ordered a Bulgogi sandwich and a cup of coffee. They offer a sandwich from 7:30am to 3:00pm Mon-Sun, so I think it would be a good place to have a simple lunch. Price is reasonable and they sell salads too. read more

I don't usually get boba from cafes, i try to stick with boba places im familiar with, but i decided to try it here. When I got it, the boba tasted bland and was hard to chew/swallow, it didn't seem cooked properly. I had only chewed a couple before I gave up and decided to ignore it and drink the tea instead. 10 minutes later I felt nauseous and had a headache, curious and slightly dizzy I googled if eating possibly raw boba could cause it. it does. eating raw boba can be pretty bad for your health and cause symptoms like nausea because of the Cassava root in it. Needless to say, watch out and make sure ur boba is cooked properly, if its hard its probably not. Don't think id try boba here again. read more

You may think I'm too sensitive, but I had higher hope for this cafe. I just went in looking to sit down and have a coffee and some brunch, but the way the 2 ladies at the register greet and treat me makes me extremely uncomfortable I nearly had a panic attack in there. They were NOT welcoming at all, I bought an iced latte and were going to go get my ipad and some cash in the car to tip them since I'm going to sit down in there anyways. Went back in to buy their baked goods, this time I tipped them with cash but they gave me the look of despair just because I didn't tip them when I placed the coffee order? Not only that but they straight up put the bakery items in a bag as a gesture to want me to leave even tho I put my stuff down at the table. I originally gave this place five stars based on the best bubble tea and delicious cappuccinos but I realize it totally depends on who's making the bubble tea. We have had the most delicious bubble tea in terms of flavor and consistency and we have had the worst - icy, lacking flavor, turns watery rather quickly. The custard fish pastries are yum and adorable. The beautiful chocolate dome with a pinch of gold looks gourmet and lovely but the taste- not so much. I've tried Hershey's dark chocolate pudding that taste very similar. read more
