After years of dealing with mediocre service and unreliable technicians for my hot tub, finding White Sands was a breath of fresh air. My motor recently failed--I'm certain the bearings finally seized up--and I was bracing myself for the usual headache. I called them up and was immediately impressed by how quickly they got back to me. They scheduled me for first thing Monday morning, just two days after my call. Chris arrived right on time and was a total pro. He actually had the replacement motor right on his truck and managed to swap everything out and have the tub running perfectly in under an hour. If you're tired of being ghosted by repair services or waiting weeks for parts, call these guys. Fast, prepared, and professional. The tub is working great! read more

Chris was wonderful! I had problems with a leak in our spa. Chris diagnosed the problem (a leaking pump), had replacements in his truck, drained the tub and did the installation all within an hour or so. Great service at a reasonable price read more

Chris was wonderful. He was very honest. We called because our heater stopped producing heat and turned out it was just a dirty filter. Some companies would have charged much more and added cost but white sands did not. Very pleased. We have used them twice and both times they were professional and on time. read more

After getting a lot of "we don't do that", White Sands did that and it was simply an air jet motor replacement. They came out on time and the price was as quoted. read more

Good communication and competent service. Other reviews accurately describe the company as a good source for maintaining and repairing hot tubs. read more

I had a poor experience with this company. They recently charged me $190 to pour a $16 "fix a leak" product in my spa. That didn't do much. They told me the leaks were likely due to it being left empty for some time. My issue is I had this company come look at the spa and check it out when I bought the house. I explained I didn't move in yet and wouldn't until a remodel was complete, just gave them the gate code to swing by. They emptied the spa during that visit and gave me no suggestion or warning that I should fill it or risk developing leaks. This recent visit felt like a kick in the... read more

On time. Knew what he was doing. Reasonably priced. Did some extra work to make the spa work as good as possible.

Called them up to help my wife and I with our new house - and new hot tub. They came out within a week and got us sorted! Service and price are both great! Very happy to have found them. read more

Our spa stopped working months ago, and after an exhaustive search for a spa repair company we found White Sands. Recently had problems with my hot tub so after checking on Yelp and asking for spa repair companies people have used and liked I settled on White Sands Spa Repair and I was not disappointed. Casey made time for me from his already busy schedule and completed his diagnosis of the problem quickly and was able to schedule his return to complete the repair right then and there. Of course things do not always go smoothly which I found out when we realized the GFCI breaker I had was not the correct one. Casey has an electrician he uses and he quickly put him in contact with me to resolve my breaker issue. Chris fixed it in no time and was very professional and friendly. As a team those two work well together and will provide their customers with quality work. I highly recommend them to anyone. They will take care if you 2/6/20 Had to get Casey to fix my motor on the spa and as usual he was prompt and completed the job quickly and professionally. I can't say enough about White Sands Spa repair. If your spa needs repair or regular maintenance check with White Sands you won't go wrong. read more

I want to vouch for Chris. He went beyond the call of duty to handle a pesky spa, and a demanding customer, me :-) Very professional, taking the time to explain, fix things up, and revisit my home as the spa was causing troubles. Prompt, courteous, and friendly. I hope I won't need his service anymore, but if I have a problem with my tub, I know who to call. Thanks read more

If I could give more stars I would. Quick, amazing service that diagnosed and fixed my spa on the spot. He has been definitely been added to my Contacts and will be the 1st person I would recommend after using other services in the past. read more

I had 5 other spa repair folks come through and no one could figure out the issue. Chris was able to schedule an appointment with us about a week from when we called. He was on time, professional and knowledgeable about our caldera spa. He took a look, diagnosed the issue and fixed it all within about an hour. Price was reasonable and I would call again for any other issues that arise. read more

What a great company! Chris was on time and answered all of novice questions I had. It turns out my main pump went out and yeah I wasn't super excited about spending $500 bucks, but I was confident that the pump was the problem and it needed replacing. Chris had a new pump in his van and got it swapped out in no time. Now my jacuzzi is purring like a kitten, sitting at 102 degrees. He even went the extra mile and greased all my diverter valves. I can tell Chris and his bro run a solid company and would definitely recommend anyone to them. If your hot tub is broken, don't hesitate, Whitesands are your guys. Highly recommend. read more

Don't look any further for spa repair. These guys are simply amazing. Knowledgeable, professional and very reasonable price. I'd like to give them 10 stars. read more

Very satisfied customer. Chris was friendly and professional; he explained what was wrong, how to fix and how to prevent in the future. I appreciate he had all the parts on the truck and was able to complete repairs same day. GFI plug and motor were bad. Great customer service and I would highly recommend. read more

I was referred to White Sands from another happy customer and I was delighted with their service! After our tenants moved out, we noticed the portable spa jets weren't turning on and the water wasn't heating up. We had an error message on the display. Casey came out a day later and within a matter of minutes he diagnosed the problem, had a solution ready to go and gave me a price. The pump had gone out and had one with him, so he was prepared to do the repair on the spot. He was friendly, on time and did a great job. I would definitely use them again! read more

Chris did an awesome job getting our spa back up and running. Pleasant, polite and punctual. He would send a text with all updates and again when he completed the job. Oh, and his price was $500 lower than another person that bid the exact same job. Thanks. Highly recommend. read more

After reading so many great reviews and seeing pictures of the type of work they do, I felt this company was the one could do the best job work for the type of jacuzzi I have (2 person above ground jacuzzi). I called to make an appointment and they were upfront about the service call cost so no surprise there. My appointment was with Chris, he come over right on time and got to work. We were having issues with multiple leaks and multiple jets not working. We required two appointments since parts needed to be ordered. We received a quote prior to any further work, so no surprises there either. On the second appointment Chris was able to resolve the issue and for way less than we were originally quoted. He ultimately didn't need the part that was ordered so we weren't charged for it, he took less time than what was quoted so we only got charged for the time he spent. I found this company to be very honest and upfront. I would recommend White Sands Spa Repair. read more

I was very pleased by the professionalism, engineering knowledge, business app usage, ability, and speed of Casey Okleberry My spa was manufactured in 1991 so original parts were not an option. I am very satisfied with the fix he engineered and installed in just a few hours. Good job. read more

Casey and Chris at White Sands Spa Repair are professional, polite and do fantastic work. I called Casey and left a message. He promptly returned my call, scheduled our appointment and sent me digital confirmation over text. Casey arrived on time, diagnosed my spas issues quickly and gave me several options for repairs with associated prices. After making my selection we scheduled the next appointment to allow time for parts to arrive. Chris showed up on time for the next appointment, verified all information and knocked out the repairs quickly. I won't call anyone else to repair my Spa now. read more

I'm relatively new to owning a spa, so when the pump stopped working, I searched for a local repair in Encinitas. Casey was the first guy I looked up and I am really glad I called him. Pros + Picked up the first time I called and set up an appointment the very next day - which was a Saturday + Great communication. Was up front about how much time he could give me and the price for his visit. + Called ahead to let me know he was on his way and was very punctual + Diagnosed and fixed my problem in about 5 minutes. He not only fixed it, but helped me understand why it was broken and how to fix it again if it should happen a second time. + Continuously asked me if I had any additional questions and continued to answer them. He spent an additional 10 minutes helping me understand my pump and spa better. Cons - None Casey was a great help and I highly recommend him. He genuinely cares about his customer and I will definitely call him again if anything else goes wrong. read more

Casey was very nice. He took time to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend for his service & showed up on time. Thanks Casey.

Casey showed up on time this morning, diagnosed our problem in about 5 minutes and fixed it quickly, Found one leak we knew about, found a 2nd leak once water started flowing and fixed them both quickly and reasonably. He also gave me information about keeping it maintained easily, and didn't even try to sell me extras that I don't really need. I loved that he was honest about what he found, had all the parts with him, and was friendly, through, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I'll call him again if we need help again. read more

White Sands has saved my butt with my spa for so many years. ALWAYS providing first class service at fair and reasonable prices. Their wisdom and experience is second to none. Even when rats ate out 7(yes 7) different areas of my spa. They told me the truth and said to fix it would cost way more than its worth. They left the decision with me and the saw won and the spa is gone. I won't hesitate to call them again when we get another spa. read more
