To update my previous review, it is now 126 days since my 240v Lux solar inverter caught on fire. It caught the @#$%! on fire! I still do not have it back. WMS finally agreed to re-install my repaired inverter at no charge to me. I have it in email. However, since that email 7 days ago it's been crickets, even when I simply text them to ask where I am in the queue. The owner, Ben Burney, ducks my calls. His associate, Ron, refuses to discuss the matter saying, "take it up with Ben". Their virtual receptionist refuses to put me through to Ben saying, "I have a supervisor and have to do what he tells me to do". In the meantime, on 16 May, the 120v inverter they kindly loaned me in January has also failed. According to my multimeter, it's only putting out 88v. I discovered this when I went to my freezer (the only load on the inverter at the moment) and found it at 48 degrees. I let them know immediately. The only sound I heard was the aforementioned crickets. Since zero is not an option, they still are at one star. Now they have an ROC complaint filed. (Remember the license # that was tied to a business in Scottsdale and not WMS? I spoke to the ROC licensing office who said, and I quote.... "Yeah.... include that in your complaint." Done.) The truly frustrating thing is no facts are in dispute. All of this was 100% avoidable with even minimally competent customer service. I own my own business and have for 10 years. I have clients in North America, Europe, and Asia. I am not perfect and I've made mistakes. buyers beware!! they are hard to reach taking days to return phone call if you are lucky enough to get one. after putting a $12k deposit down we unfortunately had to cancel the following week for unforsee circumstances. he charged 20% of the total not the deposit. $5500 "restocking fee " $5500 is a lot for not doing anything! I agreed to 20% of the deposit and wasn't hap about that but $5500 is criminal! read more

After reading PART OF the following review that written from a Text Message Paper Trail, I want you to please ask yourself if you honestly want to take a chance on giving any of Your Hard Earned Income Tax Refund Dollars to WHITE MOUNTAINS SOLAR? The following is the complaint containing a "small part" of the complete text message paper trail that I sent to the BBB about Mr Ben Burnie, and White Moutains Solar. I purchased a DIY System from White Mountain Solar a while back for almost $17,000 dollars not counting all of the extra parts that I needed, and still need to bring my system on line. I called WMS on December 10, 2024 and talked to someone named Ariel. I tried to explain to Mr. Ariel that I did not know the actual name of the parts that I needed, so I could order, and maybe pick them up the next day. I told him that I knew that they worked with the UFO Clamps that I purchased a few days earlier, and that they were used to secure the ends of the Solar Panels down so the wind could not lift the ends up, and cause the solar panels to blow away. But for what ever reason Mr. Ariel was more focused, on getting me over to customer support through text messaging that he could not understand what I was asking him for to the point that he was convened that I wanted to purchase more UFO Clamps, and because of that I literally had to hang up on poor Ariel. The next thing I know Mr. Ariel is texting me at 3:22 PM. I try to play along, and the conversation "seems" to be going well, but Ariel still did not understand that I didn't need UFO Clamps yet "at that time". ((This is Ariel, I have submitted your ticket sir, Ben can be reached here or he will call you back when he gets to your ticket, sorry for your frustration to hang up , please text Ben here or wait for him to call have a tech call you back)) Mr. Ariel, and I went back and forth, and I though all was well until the owner Mr Ben Burnie took over the text message, and technically lied to me three time, gaslighted me to purchace the parts I needed, from somewhere else twice , and blocked my phone mumber so I could not call to work this out. I have a text message paper trail of the whole conversation, and a video proof of my number being blocked. The System they sold me has bad parts that need to be exchanged.
