We live in Phoenix and have a cabin in Torreon. Some friends were staying at our cabin and the AC died. Our realtor recommended Mountain Comfort and I called them. A technician came a few hours later and fixed the unit. Professional and courteous. Same day service in the middle of a heat wave. It does not get any better. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: After my original review, Mountain Comfort reached out, apologized for the issues, and paid to have the problems corrected. I appreciate that they took responsibility and worked toward a resolution. That said, my original experience involved significant installation and quality-control issues. Our AC and heater were left non-functional despite being reported as working, debris was left in the vent system, portions of the refrigerant line had kinks, the unit was not properly reconnected, and the A2L sensor was not hooked up on our new system.I'm updating my review to reflect the company's efforts to make things right, but the original workmanship issues were significant and should not have happened in the first place. read more

I'm motivated to follow up on my initial review of the complete and professional service of the very competent HVAC Company and their representative Josh Watson. After our first ever problem that Josh corrected on the spot, we followed up with maintenance offered through their care plan which brought Josh out again for a cleaning of the whole unit as well as our home vent system. Josh didn't disappoint as he methodically filmed his way both inside and out of our home. He provided complete videos of all our components ratings each key part individually, while examining them he discovered our "sequencer" only had two of its three phases working (listen to me speak HVAC lingo). When concluding his operation he gave us a written estimate to replace the defective part, checked for its availability, and confirmed an appointment with us to return. Totally seamless and very professional indeed. My wife and I are very happy to have found Mountain Comfort, Carol in the office and Josh on the road make a winning combination for all your HVAC needs, give them a call, you don't have to wait until you have a breakdown to enjoy their service! read more

Beware of price gouging from this company! Our heat pump's variable speed fan motor stopped working. Their price to replace it was twice as high as other companies. read more

Cold weather is about to come upon us here in Overgaard. Our furnace is 48 years old and the sensor thermocouple failed. I called Mountain Comfort for help. Josh showed up just the time they said they would be here. He was able to replace the old sensor with a new one he had in inventory and we had a working 48 year old furnace keeping us warm for the winter coldness soon to arrive. The cost was more then I thought it would be if I repaired it myself but Josh did the repairs what would have taken me a full day and that is if I could even find the right thermocouple Josh did it in an hour. It was worth every penny to have such an experienced technician who knew his job so well. The important thing is it was repaired and back on line and it was repared correctly. Its operating as good as new. Thank you Josh and Mountain Comfort Heating. read more

Adam, Hagen, and Gator just completed a whole house duct clearing for us. They were considerate, professional, arrived at the expected time and finished in less time than allowed. When an outlet didn't work after they finished the ducts but hadn't yet left, they worked together to troubleshoot and fix the problem. Good value for good service! read more

Had an issue with our wall furnace when my three sons went up to go elk hunting. Mountain Comfort responded overnight, accessed the residence by the boys leaving a key under the mat. Even though the technician did not have the part needed, he went to Show Low and found one through a supplier, went back to Pinetop, installed it the same day, and had the residence nice and warm when the kids returned from their hunt that night. Fast service and went the extra mile to accomplish the task. Will be foreever greatful. Detlef Lange read more

My A/C installation was scheduled about 3 weeks after the quote was accepted. The morning of the scheduled date looked to be rainy so Kathy called to reschedule for the next day. The weather cleared and she called back to say the installers were on their way. The install was completed in about 3 1/2 hours and Jerry and Terry did a great job. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Very satisfied and would recommend this business. read more

After moving into our "new" house in Show Low, we decided we'd better have our HVAC system checked and serviced, especially since the thermostat seemed balky. We were referred to Mountain Comfort and they were great. Kathy in the office promptly scheduled the house call and Seth the tech showed up on time. He checked everything, replaced one safety part that was failing in the old unit, fixed a construction defect (the duct was not properly attached to the unit) and installed a new, easy to understand and program thermostat. The price was very reasonable for the amount of time Seth was on-site and for the new parts. We are completely satisfied. We can rest easy that we'll have AC in the summer and heat in the winter. We unreservedly recommend Mountain Home read more

Would have given better review had they contacted us as promised to do a quote. We stopped by their office and filled out a form with our information. We were told the man who provides quotes was out of office but he would contact us the next day. So it is 3 + weeks later and never a call. Needless to say we went with another company. 2 stars are for the nice lady we saw in the office. read more

Wonderful service. Cathy in the office listened to my concerns about a cold front over the weekend and Tom came out the same day to find the main duct had disconnected from our furnace. He repaired the problem and did a thorough review of the system. Price was more than reasonable and as quoted.
