White Mountain Heating & Cooling serviced my home air conditioner last Friday, determining that there may be several options to resolving my cooling issue. None of which could be completed during that visit. A promise was made by the service technician (Da***s) to provide quotes on the options by the end of that day. That promise has been missed by six days and counting. I have not heard from him or the company, so have as of today scheduled a solution with one of their competitors. read more

Filed Lawsuit - Strong Warning About This Contractor operating with a suspended contractors license. Review: As of today, we have officially filed a lawsuit in Superior Court against White Mountain Heating & Cooling of Show Low, AZ. We paid $14,950.00 for a complete HVAC installation, and the system was never installed correctly. The condensate drain was sloped in reverse, causing severe water damage to our remodeled home. Pipe fittings were left unglued, ductwork was incomplete, and crews repeatedly failed to fix the problems. To make matters worse, the company continued to send technicians even while their ROC license was suspended, which is a serious violation in Arizona. We've spent over $1,600 in emergency repairs trying to correct their work. We've also submitted formal complaints to the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and will escalate to the Attorney General if needed. We strongly advise anyone considering White Mountain Heating & Cooling to check their license status and reconsider. Our case is now active in court. https://azroc.my.site.com/AZRoc/s/contractor-search?licenseId=a0ot0000000NZ8gAAG read more

White Mountain Heating & Cooling in Show Low was so was responsive when we called to see if they could move our A/C condenser on our back patio to the side of the house. Krystan came out within a couple days to give us a quote and was thorough and answered all of our questions. We accepted the quote and they scheduled the move in about 2 weeks. The team Woody and Denton texted us that they were on their way and they got here when expected. The lead Joe, showed up shortly after. They were extremely nice and went right to work. We expected it to take 4 to 5 hours based on the quote and they finished in just about 5 hours. We were very impressed with their professionalism and expertise. They didn't try to up-sell us on anything and we now know if we need any work on our heating or A/C that we will call them. Having moved to Snowflake from Colorado last August, we didn't have any real contacts for this, but went by their great Web site and the awards they had won. I would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Everyone from the people in the office to the field reps were awesome. read more

This company saved our vacation getaway for Thanksgiving!!! We arrived and it was COLD! The heater would not kick on! It was too cold for me (a native of Phoenix) and overnight it would just get worse!! I have a White Mountain Heating and Cooling business card on my fridge from a prior use. We were very pleased, so I made a point to keep their card!! I called them. It was very late afternoon. She offered to fit us in the next day for service. Okay...we will stay in a hotel for the night. She suddenly made an executive decision to have her guys come after their last job, past their working hours, and certainly not something I expect that they were happy about since they thought the prior job was their last job of the day. They showed up with a great attitude! They were so VERY honest!! The switch was sticking, and it needed to be replaced. They were very certain, and we trusted their judgement! We were toasty warm within a very short time!! It was a fairly quick fix at a very affordable cost!! We were so very appreciative of them coming an HOUR after we called them!!!! I cannot guarantee you that they can or will arrive in an hour, but we were WOWED by the speed of arrival, the speed of repair, the employees, the honesty and the cost!!! White Mountain Heating and Cooling is a very professional option, and we will use them EVERY SINGLE TIME in the future when we have any issues with heating or cooling!! read more

Exceptional business!! Quick service and our serviceman, James, was extremely knowledgeable and worked out some issues that were complex. I would highly recommend them. read more

They saved my bacon! Were willing to come afterhours and got the job done. Dallas, the tech, was amazing and professional. The office got me set up with an appointment very quick. We are blessed to have such a wonderful company on the mountain. read more

I needed a maintenance on my h&ac unit. I was scheduled fast and tech showed on time, fast maintenance and reasonable price. Reception was very informative and pleasant. Happy to find a reliable business. Would recommend. read more

I would not recommend using White Mountain Heating and Cooling. They were called for a water leak, tech showed up without tools or sealant to do the job. Also found an alleged freon leak. Wanted to try to charge me for a full charge of freon to fix leak in vapor line. They wont recover or trap freon in the unit, just charge full amount. It is fixed now by another company that needed zero freon using the method I described. They also said the water leak was fixed, leaking just as bad when they left as before. Also fixed by another company with a tube of sealant. I believe they are in it for the quick cash with unnecessary charges. I won't even describe the problems they had with my home warranty people. Beware! read more

Great service and communication with the office in getting an appointment scheduled. Our technician Austin called ahead of time and arrived promptly. Austin diagnosed our A/C issue within minutes of listening to the system and we were back with ice cold air within 15 minutes. He did a great job explaining the fix required and the part that was being replaced. White Mountain Heating & Cooling just earned a lifelong customer. read more

So from the very start, this company is the best on the mountain. The first thing you hear, is a cute and bubbly voice on the line ready to help you. I was in a bind, and she was there to help, now this is when it was hotter than hell, and everyone was booked. One of the many things that impressed me by this company. She called me after hours to make sure that I would not have to wait until the morning or after the weekend. There is a kid by the name of Austin. He is basically the doctor tech he was here on time, he is very very serious, and he is also very good at his job. He diagnosed the problem within minutes. at the end of it all, I finally got him to laugh and smile. This company makes you feel like family, they go the extra mile. There is no doubt in my mind to refer this company to others, and to always call them first. thanks, you guys you rock Rita read more

Great local company. Easy to schedule and pleasant arrived on time. CARLOS the tech was terrific. He was knowledgeable and informative. He provided a preventative maintenance service on the heater for a property we just purchased, explained what he was doing, and what filter to purchase. Its nice to find great service when you move to a new area. read more

Having issues with our furnace, I called Peter to see when he could come out. Despite the intermittent nature of the issue, Peter apologized for not being able to come out immediately. That was not a problem for us. As promised, he arrived here to troubleshoot our furnace issue. I was having phone trouble, but Peter was tenacious about finding us. We live in Rural Concho now and not easy to find. Apparently, he drove up and down the connecting road a couple times until we finally met up. Peter was efficient and helpful not to mention very professional, explaining what he was doing and why. Even went above and beyond and obliged our request to roll the generator over to the AC condenser unit so he could test. That generator would have been impossible for me to move. It was a pleasure doing business with Peter and we not only will call him again but highly recommend him for your HVAC needs. read more

Our A/C broke on one of those few 90 degree days we get in Pinetop. White Mountain dispatched James by late morning of the same day I called and he worked a very tricky electrical problem. James had us up and cooling within hours and was very knowledgeable and courteous. Thank you White Mountain Heating and Cooling. read more

Everyone has been great! Laura in the office, Joe and Woody for the install, and Carlos to troubleshoot. This company has been great. We got a brand new install of a/c. Because of the age of the property, there was a lot of pre-install. From getting parts that are no longer manufactured, to getting the new unit up and running. I highly recommend this great team!! read more

White Mountain Heating and Air fit me into their busy schedule the same day I called seeking a quick evaluation on the furnace of a house I am in contract to buy. Chase was exceedingly professional and thorough, kindly offering a few tips and instructions to help me with my first venture into being a homeowner who could no longer just call my landlord to handle heat/furnace questions that might arise. I strongly recommend this company. Thank you, Chase! read more

Great experience all around. Called to get my AC unit serviced (I was completely down) and they fit me in same day. It was a straight forward and honest assessment (actually no issue at all other than bugs clogging things up). Quick fix and they were in and out in 15 minutes. Can't beat it...same day service, honest assessment and didn't try charge me for something that wasn't wrong. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

I can't say enough about the service these folks provide. Twice in the past two months, we had a heating problem in Pinetop -- freezing temperatures, pipes at risk -- while we were down in the Valley. Both times, White Mountain got somebody out the same day to fix it. So grateful. We will ALWAYS use WM for heating problems! read more

We would highly recommend White Mountain Heating & Cooling. Thanks to Carl & Carlos they solved the issues we were having with our brand new heat pump. If you call for service they call you back and care about taking care of your issues in a timely manner. Our new unit went bad from the start and after a few service calls it was determined the manufacturer needed to replaced the unit but Carl & Carlos personally kept in touch with us throughout the process. If you call and leave a message, Laura calls you back the same day! Very excellent Company!! The Moore family thanks you!! read more

My furnace kept acting up and would stop working at all different times of the day and night. I called them for help but they were already really busy and said it might take a few days to be seen. Wyatt called the next morning and was able to come out and fix my issue that day. It was also done much less than I thought the repair would be. Very thankful as we sit in our warm house. read more

Just wanted to give a shout-out for the AWSOME job and the outstanding service Peter has given me! Had some major issues with my furnace and limited time available for a service call, and he made it happen both times! I decided to get rid of the junker since the same mechanical issues kept happening, (no fault of Peter's) and had a new one installed today. Peter made sure the new furnace had a great track record, and after researching it myself it ranked very high. Chris did a great job with the install, looking forward to many more years calling on White Mountain Heating & Cooling! Thanks guys! I highly recommend them! read more

Kept calling and calling to have them look at my air conditioners and they would not return the call. They did maintenance last year on my conditioners. Not impressed with their customer service and helping the community. read more

Great service! Their competitor told me I needed a new unit, $5000 or so. Pete has me 100% operational for a $79.00 service charge. He was on time after the first call, the other guys didn't call back for 2 days. Use this company, they deserve the business! read more

Excellent service! Total pro. We called after being totally blown off by another company. Pete was gracious and kind, he was booked for the day but squeezed us in as a last stop. This was above and beyond! He worked late to help us get the heat back on. Efficient and effective and without any upsell/sales pitch. Very happy and grateful. Highly recommend. read more

Honest business. I highly recommend you call them first! Great price and fast and thorough service. Very very knowledgeable

As a former HVAC contractor and having spent 25 yrs. with American Standard / Trane dealing with contractors all over the U.S., I can honestly say that White Mountain & Cooling is one of the very best I've ever dealt with. Wyatt the owner is a great guy to deal with and his staff and crew were a pleasure to have in my home. They not only did what they said they would but went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. They are prompt , maintain excellent communications with their customers, and are very fair with their pricing. I recommended them to my neighbor and he was equally impressed. read more

Sent an email request for quote to WMHC late in the afternoon on a Thursday. Wyatt called the very next day and came that afternoon to provide a quote. He was very professional and provided a reasonable quote for the job we were needing. They were able to schedule us in and in 3 weeks we had our unit installed and operating. They sent Matt, Frank & Chris to do the install. All 3 were great! They did an excellent job going above and beyond. Would highly recommend this company. read more

Just got stood up with no call after scheduled appointment a week ago. Wish didn't have to give them any stars. In all fairness to them I called fifteen minutes after they were supposed to be here (4:00) Peter said he was in Holbrook which is an hour away with two more stops before he could be to our house No estimated time. I told him to forget it as we planned our day around him at four. I could have waited if he didn't have two more stops read more

Wyatt was super responsive and Peter came out to the house within an hour on a Friday evening to help us with a DIY project!
