I'll start from the beginning... This wedding has been in preparation for a year. A whole year. Bride had a trial hair and make up and chose to get certain eyelashes rather than the lowest ones she had put on. She also had a beautiful half updo done with a braid and that was the decided hair style. Fast forward to wedding day: We were told to be ready early in the morning since we had roughly 9 people getting hair done and 8 of them getting make up too. Totally fine! When Christy arrived she brought 2 others with her , one doing make up one doing hair too. After flying through 2-3 hairs the other hairstylist rushed out and left leaving just two of them for all of us. Crunch time started and rushing began around 130 when the bride finally was taken in the chair. Literally only 30 min spent on her. Her make up turned out beautiful but the whole time we were hearing how stressed christy was and couldn't understand why. When it came to finish the brides hair she didn't do what the bride wanted and said it looks fine like this and rushed out. Leaving us all in puzzled. It turned out she had another bride to get to! She double booked and was running late for that one that she rushed out on us!! Make sense now why the first left so fast. Not even two hours later before the ceremony the brides hair fell out. Curls uncurled and she was devastated. Luckily we had a few hairstyle adequate woman on the bridal squad that redid her whole hair! She looked fantastic and was so thankful. For the cost and the rush of service it was not worth it at all. How do you double book and leave a bride hanging? I feel bad leaving this review but it is needed because this bride and bridal party were just rushed and left hanging feeling more like it was about the money and getting to the next job. It wasn't right and although they were nice I would not recommend them. They prob are great without all these issues. I am hoping they learn from this and don't do this do another bride and bridal party on what is suppose to be a very special day. It still was but only because of the woman we had who could fix hairstyles and make up at the venue.

I finally decided to splurge for myself. Google and Yelp reviews suggested the Lash Lounge was best in Tucson. Their price for the full set ($89 with Selena) seemed reasonable and they were able to set me up with an appointment by the best week. My first impression when I walked in was that the salon was cute and clean. I had to wait about 15 minutes past my appointment time but that wasn't too bad considering their waiting room is comfortable and they offer you water. Selena led me to a private room and I laid on an incredibly soft cot lined with fleece blankets. It was so comfortable that I'm certain people fall asleep during their visits. I know I did. After anchoring my bottom lashes with tape that was almost on my eye balls, the lash application process took about two hours and was for the most part relaxing. However at some points the lash glue would seep into my eyes and sting causing me to tear up like crazy. I asked the technician if that was normal and she mentioned it happens to some people especially during the initial visit because we are just not used to having implements so close to our eyes. Makes sense. The final clean up is removing glue and lashes that inadvertently end up where they don't belong. It was hard to open my eyes at that point having had them closed for a few hours but Selena was efficient. Overall I like my lashes but I think I'm going to go more dramatic for the fill in four weeks.

I called last minute to cancel my fill appointment and I knew going in they have a policy of charging 50% of the service you were planing on getting. That's fine and I can completely get on board with this policy but when they charged me $95 for a $70 service that I didn't get I start to wonder. I contacted them immediately and they said oops we had you down for a different service. I said ok but you charged full price and I did call you ahead of time. Oops we'll go fix that. This time they charged me half price for the service that I wasn't getting at all and was their mistake for putting it in the computer wrong. So AGAIN I contacted them and I was ignored. So I got charged $47.50 when it should have been $35. Now to a lot of people this isn't a lot of money but to me $12.50 is a lot of money to just toss away. So basically while I like the work they did I doubt I'll go back. I'm not one for tossing money in the trash like that.

When I left from my appt a few lashes came out and throughout the week it got worse. Not just the false lash my real lashes were coming out with them! I have several gaps in my lashes and it hasn't even been a week yet. My other lash was perfectly fine no issues , no sheddingI called them on day four or five getting my lashes done and they told me since I didn't call 24 to 48 hrs after ur appt they can't do anything. I'm thinking to myself" why did I pay 100$ plus tip for my lashes to last half a week. The manager of this establishment told me she's going to see what she can do for me and that someone will call me back. No one called back I had to call them. Then the manager proceeded to tell me me "oh yea we can get definitely fix ur lash for you. We'll schedule you for a mini fill". At this point I'm so happy because they are going to fix it. No , the manager made it seem like it would be a complementary fill until I asked her would I have to pay for it, $55. If I didn't ask her if I was going to be charged, she wouldn't have told me.
