During the consultation, I clearly asked for very minimal, natural-looking highlights and specifically said I wanted to avoid excessive blonde because I had spent a long time growing out previously damaged hair. I explained that keeping my hair healthy was a priority. The final result was the opposite of what I requested. My hair ended up orange and red in areas, with multiple uneven tones and very brassy sections. The owner of the salon even assisted in styling my hair at the end of the appointment, which makes it even more surprising that I was allowed to leave with my hair looking the way it did. I contacted the salon owner afterward and sent photos showing what I had asked for compared to the result. Instead of offering to correct the service, I was told the toner must have washed out (I had not washed my hair yet) and that I would need to pay for additional toner to fix the color.

The service that I requested was for classic set but after talking about my upcoming bridal shower…read moreshe upgraded me at no cost to a wispy classic set. The parking is easy. The studio is very clean and cozy. She gives you a blanket. The chair reclines to a comfortable position. She also made me a latte and cookies afterwards. She was very gentle without any pain or irritation with the eye pads. My only complaint is that the fan wasn't on my lashes long enough so I had some pain and redness later that day that resolved after 24 hours. No loss of lashes the first week. About 3 Lashes came out the second week. The third week I lost a few of my natural lashes but it doesn't seem like much. I'll update once I get them removed. Overall I would recommend reasonable price, quality lashes, on time service. Next time I would inquire about the glue or bring my own fan to make sure it is completely dry

The request was for undetectable, seamless, low maintenance pops of light To make my overall hair appear to reflect my natural base, which is a level 5/6. It's convenient that when I was asked what my budget was, that was what turned out to be the exact cost of the service plus a $70 haircut. There were also comments made that if I were to have spent more money, there were better odds that I could've achieved the result I was desiring which I found disrespectful. The first image was my hair prior to my appointment. The second image was the inspiration. The rest are what remain after going in for 'touch up.' I think it is blatantly obvious what the issue is far from just a 'tone' discrepancy. The Salon refuses to refund me and it's easy to fathom that I would not be comfortable getting seen for the third time to fix what has been broken. Extremely discouraging when I value the integrity of my hair more than anything else and how multiple individuals are not willing to make it right. I will never recommend this Salon to anyone in this city. I hate when smart people pretend to not see the issue at hand.

Hush Salon is my hair place of choice because of the people, not only my stylist, who is amazing,…read morebut the ladies at the desk and the owners, as well as the other stylists. The receptionists are so sweet and helpful, whether they are on the phone or in person. They greet their clients/guests and offer coffee, water, and sodas, which are much appreciated. The other stylists say hi as they walk by as do the owners. Obviously the warm, friendly vibe starts top down and it makes such a difference. All the salon and spa services you could want are available at Hush. The salon is spacious with a modern open industrial feel, and spotless. Is it weird to compliment the restrooms? Well, I need to do that too. Plenty of parking is available so even when Hush is super busy, I can find a space. There are multitudes of products for sale, including Color Wow, which I am passionate about. The most important characteristic of a great salon is how the client's hair looks, and I could not be more pleased. Charley is my stylist and I'm crazy about her as a person as well as her talents. We have lovely conversations about kids, restaurants, and cooking, so my appointment is also a social affair. I often bring photos of hairstyles and Charley can duplicate them. She shares tips for styling and I am confident I can do it when I leave the salon. I must mention the fantastic head and neck massages during shampooing; I feel so pampered. And I look forward to my next visit.
