I really wanted to be able to give Christy and her crew 5 stars but I just can't after what happened and I'm hoping leaving a review will prevent them from doing it to another bridal group in the future along will make future brides who use them aware of this. I'll start from the beginning... This wedding has been in preparation for a year. A whole year. Bride had a trial hair and make up and chose to get certain eyelashes rather than the lowest ones she had put on. She also had a beautiful half updo done with a braid and that was the decided hair style. Fast forward to wedding day: We were told to be ready early in the morning since we had roughly 9 people getting hair done and 8 of them getting make up too. Totally fine! When Christy arrived she brought 2 others with her , one doing make up one doing hair too. After flying through 2-3 hairs the other hairstylist rushed out and left leaving just two of them for all of us. Crunch time started and rushing began around 130 when the bride finally was taken in the chair. Literally only 30 min spent on her. Her make up turned out beautiful but the whole time we were hearing how stressed christy was and couldn't understand why. When it came to finish the brides hair she didn't do what the bride wanted and said it looks fine like this and rushed out. Leaving us all in puzzled. It turned out she had another bride to get to! She double booked and was running late for that one that she rushed out on us!! Make sense now why the first left so fast. Not even two hours later before the ceremony the brides hair fell out. Curls uncurled and she was devastated. Luckily we had a few hairstyle adequate woman on the bridal squad that redid her whole hair! She looked fantastic and was so thankful. For the cost and the rush of service it was not worth it at all. How do you double book and leave a bride hanging? I feel bad leaving this review but it is needed because this bride and bridal party were just rushed and left hanging feeling more like it was about the money and getting to the next job. It wasn't right and although they were nice I would not recommend them. They prob are great without all these issues. I am hoping they learn from this and don't do this do another bride and bridal party on what is suppose to be a very special day. I planned my wedding in a very short time and was concerned I might not be able to find a stylist to do hair and makeup for the bridal party, however Chrissy was able to accommodate me on short notice. Chrissy was already booked for another wedding so her assistant Anisha did my hair and makeup, which both turned out beautiful. On the way to Chrissy's other wedding she stopped by my venue and worked on the rest of my bridal party. I cannot express how pleased I am with the results. They both made us look and feel beautiful. Plus, they really know what they are doing when it comes to makeup for wedding photography. I wasn't entirely sure how I wanted my hair styled, as I have shorter hair, but Anisha came up with a look for me on the spot, described what she had in mind, and executed it flawlessly. It was better than anything that I could have thought possible. When she put on my veil I felt like a stunning bride. Not only are Chrissy and Anisha talented artists, but a pleasure to spend the day with. They were fun and easy to talk to; which made the day that much more enjoyable and relaxing. Not only was she fun and friendly, but I really appreciated her professionalism! When I initially inquired about her business, Chrissy e-mailed me an entire packet with her resume, contract, and FAQ. She gave me a handful of available times to do a trial run, and then she came to my home to do the trial, which was very convenient! I provided Chrissy with a few photographs of the makeup that I was looking for, and she was able to duplicate the look! Her prices include traditional OR airbrush, so that I could make the choice without worrying that the price would change. Chrissy e-mailed me several times before my trial and before the wedding day to confirm details. She made me feel like I was a priority and I didn't have any concerns about her showing up on time. Chrissy did my hair and makeup trial several weeks ago and wow. I was left speechless with how amazing she made me look! I scheduled my hair and makeup trial to be the same day we were getting out engagement photos taken. Chrissy showed up to my house with all her gear in tow (lots of gear!). I briefly described to her what I was thinking for hair and makeup and then just asked her to work her magic. The end result was incredible! I have never felt so glamorous and gorgeous before! I received so many compliments throughout the night on my hair and makeup. The engagement photos also came out amazing - I looked like I was straight out of Hollywood. I paid for a makeup trial before my wedding with Chrissy. She did a good job; however, she was about 45 minutes late on my wedding day. Then when she arrived she announced that she could only stay for an hour because she had another wedding in Tucson. She did one of my bridesmaids' hair and then left one of her assistants to finish the other 5 bridesmaids hair AND makeup, along with mine!! She did a good job but she was super stressed and rushed all day. My hair and makeup was very rushed as she did mine last. Very disappointed that I had paid for a trial with Chrissy, then she didn't even do my makeup on my wedding day. Would not recommend, make sure she didn't double book your big day! read more

When originally trying to pick a makeup artist, there isn't a huge selection for the Tucson area. She had great reviews, and was the only artist that didn't require a 50% deposit when booking! I did my trial at her house, and she did a fantastic job. When it came down to the wedding day, she and two assistants got right to work!
