Overall this is a good White Castle location. The food tastes the same as White Castle always does. This location does have above average service for a White Castle. My issue with this location though is in terms of cleanliness of the eating area/bathrooms. Sometimes the Pop Machine area smells almost like sewer water. But its White Castle and I love it! :P read more

They are crooks. They charged my credit card with 7.43$ for their number 1 in the menu, which is supposed to be 5.99 +taxes. Basically they charged with more than 20% taxes, which is illegal in Illinois. I asked to talk with the manager, about the overcharged card, and they start to speak each other in Indian language. Instantly they forgot English. Well, I keep the receipt and file a claim to Better Business Bureau. Avoid that place, they will scam you! read more

Restaurant review Sliders galore. Clean, fast, efficient, and friendly without a hassle using a coupon. They have ample seating, friendly staff, and the food comes quickly. I can't say that there is anything wrong with this location. So if you want sliders this is a great place to visit! Pro: white caste crave! Cons: none Hidden gem: Check online for coupons or new promotion on new food read more

This is my childhood and adulthood drug. They're so small and so thin, but why do they taste so good?? I think it's the tiny bits of grilled onions that they cook in. With cheese, excellent. Without cheese, excellent. Sober or not, these are soooo good. Our grocery freezers on the west coast have them. But I can't waste my time on this convenience. It's totally worth the wait to go to Chicago, or wherever else they have WC, even if it's years in between fixes. When I'm in Chicago, I always take home a box of 30, or two. They conveniently pack them fresh in a box with a handle so you can take them on the plane with you. :)) There's nothing like these burgers. Nothing. read more

Roaches! Ugh so gross! Ate here for years and haven't been back in a long long time and it was my first time spotting a huge roach! So big I even took a picture. I will not be eating here again after seeing that. read more

After being gone for almost 12 years from the area, my castle does not disappoint. Now the impossible sliders are quite heavenly, not greasy at all and their crinkle cut fries are a delight. The staff here is friendly no matter which time of the day you swing by and their location is quite clean unlike other restaurants that are chain restaurants like this one. read more

Tried their ultimate sriracha chicken, it was awesome. Their fish sliders on the hand... just meh. Decent food and quick service. Well, what more do you expect at a fast food place?? read more

I had never had White Castle before this visit, and I am a HUGE burger lover. I was NOT disappointed at all! I went a little nuts with my order getting a bunch of items. I ordered the little double cheese slider burgers, onion rings and fries and a drink. I was not disappointed, despite reading mixed reviews. This particular location had a nice gal at the drive through and looked pretty clean and nice from the outside. read more

White Castle - not bad! - Burgers Near Me - Hoffman Estates, Illinois

I *love* me some White Castle. Living in San Diego doesn't give me a chance to eat there near as often as I would like (although I'm sure my digestive system is just fine with the frequency). Every time I'm in a place where I can visit one I make sure to stop by. If you've never been here before, I can sum the burgers up with this story: Wife and I are driving back from Minneapolis to Duluth one night. We stop by White Castle to grab some food. I'm driving and she's being the perfect co-pilot handing me burgers on demand. Suddenly she stops. I glance over and she's go the buns pulled apart and she's looking at the floorboard. Me: "What are you doing?" Her: "I think I lost the patty." Me: "No - it's still on there." White Castle is grease spots on a bun. And it's awesome! read more

Why is this White Castles asking for a donation for a person, Bridget Community at the drive thru window? It it written on a piece of paper and the cashier at the window is asking people to donate. I will be reporting this to corporate! read more

At least they were open at 4 a.m. is all I can say. Burgers were cold and fries soggy.

Went to White Castle this morning about 11ish. I ordered a double with jalapeño cheese. My hubby ordered a double with cheese. Can y'all tell me how they managed to switch them? The boxes are different colors. They really don't care. Just $$ signs. What is wrong with people? They give you a hard time when you tell them they made the mistake. WTF Please do us all a favor. Just Go Out Of Business!!! read more

It's fun for tourist to get a slider. Definitely unique. Has been around for many years. I like it because they put grilled onions. The beef is supposed to steam the bun so it's soft but this location the bun tasted kind if stale read more

Nice service and even better impossible sliders. Go white castle, you are my new go to burger. These lil suckers are so tasty and have the same amount of protein as regular meat. Plant based deliciousness. Folks at drive thru are super patient and nice. So glad to have vegan fast food options so close to home. We are lucky. read more

One of my favorite fast food restaurants ever. And when you are waiting for the single user restroom, hear the flush, door swings open while the toilet is still flushing and employee is just zipping up and tucking shirt in, pretty obvious that the 30 second hand washing is missing from this equation. Ugh. read more

This is one of the best White Castles I have been to. It is the kingdom of mud butt. A place that has such tastey burgers at 3 a.m. & will make you poop your pants at 10 a.m. so keep that in mind. I had a taste for White Castle & was in the area. I went inside & placed my order for 10 Jalapeno Burgers & a large sweet tea. One good thing about this place is that they are open not just in the drive thru 24 hours a day but they are also open inside for dining 24 hours a day. I have seen some mutants in here at 3 or 4 in the morning before but I guess that is what you get for eating out late. White Castles are a little bit slower for fast food but I guess that is because everyone places a bigger order. Especially at 3 or 4 in the morning. However once I got my food it was delicious. It was nice & hot & the jalapeno cheese was awesome. It had a real nice kick to it & lots of flavor. The sweet tea was good as well. Overall this is probably the best White Castle location I have been to. In high school I would travel many towns to get to this location because they didn't have any around me. I would eat here again. read more

Cleanest, non-ghetto WC I've ever been to and it's close to home! Thank you, WC for helping me through all the drunken pre-dawn mornings and helping me produce copious amounts of gas for all those around me to enjoy. I truly value the dollar to stomach remedy/plague value you provide for all of us drunken/high bastards. It's White Castle, people. Don't expect too much. They are now serving breakfast as early as midnight now! They sure know how to cater to the drunk lol! read more

Worst White Castle burgers I ever had, I am a big fan of White Castle but when we took them out of the box they felt as if they where either reheated and burned or dried up old or something the buns where crispy and had holes in them and the meat was hard. I opened each one at first I thought ok I can get over 1 but they where all that way. Terrible I still ate two out of 10 since I was super hungry but bad. Unpleasant. I decided to eat the mozzarella sticks I ordered. I won't be coming back. Idk if this matters but we got them 01/05/15 @ 1:05 am. Just incase the manager sees this. I don't think anyone should go there looking for a meal like what I just had. My poor son are one and told me mommy taste this I don't like it and I argued at first till I tried it myself. :( I won't be eating White Castle for a while & definitely won't be going back to this one. read more

White Castle - Yum - Burgers Near Me - Hoffman Estates, Illinois

Not too shabby. Here in California, the only White Castle's you hear of are on the Beastie Boys tracks, watching Harold & Kumar, or the frozen versions at the market. In town visiting clients, and saw the building. I couldn't resist. I didn't realize these things were so small. Tasty? Sure. What kind of meat is in there anyways? Not Sure. lol... I was warned that they're called sliders for a reason... definitely heed the warning. ;) read more

So you know that place that you order food from after a looooong night of drinking, you don't remember actually consuming it, but you really pay for it the next day? Yeah, that's White Castle for me. So when we ordered sliders without being drunk the other night (while sober), I really wasn't sure WHAT to expect. As it turns out, it was more delicious than I thought it would be! Chili-Skip it. It's SO bland Onion Rings--not too bad Jalapeno sliders-Yum--just a hint of a spiciness kick Cheeseburger slider--delicious, even while sober. Plus, they now have the option to order online! So that means I ordered everything, and it was ready for my husband to go and get it! You pick a time, and it's ready for you. He just went through the drive-thru, gave him his name, and they gave him the food. There's also an option to pay online if you wanted to, which is pretty cool. So why the three stars? I will save you the details, but a few hours after eating, my husband got to utter the phrase "Now I know why they call them sliders..." :( read more

Stopped in here yesterday to relive a fond memory. All the WC locations in my home town of Kansas City closed well over a decade ago, and the towns of my subsequent educational institutions also lacked the Castle. I knew that they could not of been gone for good, as I still often saw the frozen sliders in the freezer aisle while shopping. However, the frozen versions are an awful substitute as they come out of the microwave a soggy mess you almost need a fork to eat. I have tried numerous variations on cooking time and microwave power to no avail. The frozen version sliders are pretty useless unless you happen to have a dog. As such, I was pretty excited to see an old school brick and mortar location close by and I just had to check it out. What I found out after stopping in is that WC has diversified their game significantly. They now serve breakfast too, and they have a multitude of different sliders to choose from. I got a couple of originals of course, so I could contrast with the abysmal frozen ones. I also picked up the promotional Sriracha chicken and Jalapeno cheese sliders and an order of fries. Game On! Sliders are about a 2 or perhaps 3 bite endeavor for me under normal circumstances, but since I was planning on writing a review I tried to slow up to savor. They are 1000% better than the ones you will find in your freezer aisle, but I was still not totally impressed. Maybe my taste buds have just evolved since my early teens when I last had one. After all, I even like Brussel Sprouts now, which you would think my Mother was trying to expose me to nerve gas back in the day to get me to try them at the dinner table. The fries were awesome from a crispiness standpoint, but that is mainly just blind luck at fast food places. If you happen to stop in when they make a new batch, you get hooked up. They were, however, too salty for my taste. All in all, I guess my palate must be getting sophisticated on me, as they were just not as awesome as I remember. I hope I do not wake up one day and find out I no longer have a taste for Gelato. read more

White Castle, I love you. You have delicious, tiny hamburgers. I remember when we used to consume illicit substances in high school, then sit in your parking lot at 2am, eating 6 tiny burgers (and tiny fries) and talk about philosophy. Once, Pierre took one of your burgers and put it in between a bunch of books at Tower Records in Schaumburg. That burger was there for at least 6 months before they found it. Memories. read more

Ahhhh little gems from heaven. I grew up in Chicago, so I could have a slider anytime I wanted it. Now I live 2500 miles away, with no White Castle as far as the eye can see. White Castle has changed quite a bit. They offer breakfast, as well as lunch, dinner and they are open late. The taste of a white Castle has not changed over the years. I love the steamed bun. It's very soft and melt in your mouth. The meat is thin, and those onions are so delicate. Tr read more

I have walked here many times. Always hot, and the ladies serving are very polite and helpful. Always double cheeseburgers and back to the walk. Grew up enjoying these on the south side, and this location delivers the same quality. read more

It's low quality. It's inexpensive. But I find myself strangely drawn to the tiny, square, steamed beef patties with pickles and bits of grilled onions. Maybe it's the (optional) addition of the Dusseldorf mustard. Who knows? All I can say is that White Castle is not the best tasting food, but man is it addictive. They also serve breakfast as well as seasonal chicken options. Best of all, you can get a full meal for a shade over $6. When in 2017 can you say this outside of abusing the dollar menu at most places? read more

What's happened to this place? We used to enjoy this location. Not anymore. First if you want a clean table good luck or clean it yourself which we did. The trim moulding from the wall is coming off letting in the cold air and who knows what? Husband said the men's room needed a good cleaning and the urinal stunk. Time for a good clean up! Finally the food. Was just ok. I grew up with White Castle burgers and onion rings. Burger was okay but the onion rings were hard as a rock. We will look for a new location to try! read more

The burgers are tastier than the some of the other White Castles my travels have allowed me to eat. First the bad, it was a little dirty and had that grimy feel when I came in for lunch on a Saturday, there were a couple of tables that haven't been wiped after customers have eaten there. But the burgers were good, they did not screw up my complicated order and when I came back at 2am or so they hooked it up. I wouldn't eat it all the time if it was located near me because the food has no nutritional value except empty calories and fat grams but still good for an occasional bite. read more
