Last night DoorDash order: I came in town yesterday, and by the time I got here, it was late. So, I decided to order White Castle, since I haven't had it in a long time. The food was great. I ate 1 sloppy joe slider 2 cheese sticks, and a fish slider. My husband ate 3 cheese burger sliders, a order of fries and a sloppy joe slider. The rest was out in the fridge for later. They have combos and bundles to choose from, so you will enjoy saving money while enjoying your snack, lunch, or dinner.

After a long drive I wanted something quick and easy. So I went through the drive in at White Castle. The sound system was not the best. I ordered the chicken sliders and the fries thinking they would be the healthier choice. I didn't think you could make chicken into something tasteless but they did. The service was good.

Grabbed a late lunch and as I am ordering in the drive thru I notice on the marquee they have THE Impossible burger!! Whaattt?! IMPOSSIBLE! I immediately added the burger to my order and was super excited to try it! The line was short, food took awhile and had to pull up to the parking lot to wait. The cashier said it was because the impossible burger takes a bit longer. I'm guessing because not a lot of people know what it is so it's not being ordered. Total guess tho. So I get my food and am so excited to try it, I pull it out (take a photo so I can show you, restraint was required!) and take my first bite. Immediately can tell it is not meat-the texture is not as firm as well but the flavor was good-yay! Success! Second bite-not so much...by the end of the burger (it was tiny so maybe 4 bites?) I've decided I'm not a huge fan and will not reorder. . The rest of my meal was great as usually, 2 double cheese and fries-they weren't really hot tho and I suspect it is because they were ready and had to sit and wait for the impossible burger. Will return, will not return for the Impossible.

First and probably last visit, at least for awhile. Takes two burgers, to make one regular size. Which is not a bad thing.

They were a bit busy but it didn't seem like a huge crowd today. We sat outside again. I knew what I wanted immediately, and placed our order as soon as our waitress came over to greet us. A cheeseburger for the kid, and a pulled pork sandwich for me. I've never had theirs before. And I never will again. And fries. We got fries. The wait was insane. At least a half hour for very simple dishes. The kid got a tiny burger. Beef and bun. No cheese, no ketchup. I had to ask for cheese. Yes. They messed up a cheese burger. Then there was my pulled pork. It was literally inedible. I've since come to learn that it was not reheated properly, so the goo that covered every bit of meat was fat. It was served cold, for some reason, and the way it was presented on the menu, listed under a picture of some yummy browned wings led me to believe it would be a very different - and HOT- sandwich. The server did offer to take it back, but at that point the meal was ruined for me and I didn't trust them to make anything else, or make it quickly. I made it clear I was very unhappy about such a disgusting sandwich. She took all of 10% off my bill. Better than nothing, but a lot less than I was expecting. if this is how they're doing things now, I'm done with this place. Badly overseasoned fries... cold pulled pork... cheeseburger with no cheese... I mean, come on... and based on what little I caught from people at another table, getting food out seemed to be an issue for them. I'm not sure if any other places nearby that aren't just bars serve decent food, but if they do, you can definitely give this place a hard pass. Yuck.

So here's how the tap came out: It was a busy Saturday night. Easy to grab a high top, but being over 30 - it's not fun sitting on a bar stool. That's fine. The service - like I said, they were busy. But one of my friends never even got his drink, and he ended up telling the waitress to cancel it because we were already eating our fries. The fries - - 4 dipping sauces equals 5 stars! Love the ability to try different flavors and find your fav. My fav is the pesto aioli because its unique! I give the seasoning 4 stars, and it was a little heavy handed, and kind of overpowered the sauces. Texture was good, some were a lil soggy, overall they were good! I've had the other food at the tap, and always enjoyed myself. Definitely worth a visit - but be prepared if they're super slammed!

For drinks, cocktails (and a few mocktails) and a smaller selection of wine are also available. I wanted to get beer but I was kind of tempted by the cocktails. My first choice was a flight that included a mix of The Tap beers and guest beers, but the waiter came back after taking the order and told me that they could only do flights with their beers but could let me sample the beers I wanted to try, so I did that, and the samples were probably around 2 oz each so I basically got half a flight. After that, I ended up ordering a real flight of their beer. The Tap beers I tried were: Kill the Lights stout (regular and barrel-aged), Tapenator dark lager, Frost Bite winter ale, Nefarious Nectar blonde. Guest beers: Jacob Leinenkugel white mocha stout, Weihanstephaner Hefeweissbier, BrewDog Winter Staycation. Not going to waste space reviewing all of these, but they were all fantastic. I was really grateful that they let me sample so many! And they also have food. The menu isn't huge but does have some variety, and it's not just basic pub food. I had the ahi tuna crunch bowl and it was pretty good! It kind of had the vibe of stuff thrown together in a poke bowl, but it worked and I thought the fish was done really well. Our waiter was wonderful! He was really friendly and just the right amount of attentive. My friend and I stayed for a while talking after we had paid and he didn't rush us out at all. Granted, it was a pretty quiet night. We both really liked the vibe of the place. I would love to be back soon!

Amazing Food and Even Better Service…read more I was in town from California last week for a family reunion and visited the brewery on Thursday (8/6). The food was so good that we brought several of our local family members from Indianapolis back again on Saturday. While we did encounter a small issue during our visit, what truly stood out was how it was handled. Christian, the manager, could not have been more professional, attentive, and customer-focused. Our server (whose name I unfortunately don't remember) was equally outstanding throughout the experience. I often say that it's easy to provide great service when everything goes perfectly. The real test is how a business responds when something doesn't go as planned. Christian and the team passed that test with flying colors. They addressed the situation promptly, genuinely cared about making things right, and turned what could have been a negative experience into a memorable example of exceptional hospitality. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the customer service was truly top-notch. Because of the way Christian and our server handled everything, we left with an even better impression of Big Woods than we had before. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
