It's Culver's. It's fantastic. We are very lucky to have such a great location. Like some other places, they have embraced their high traffic flow and have 2 lanes that are both occupied by actual live people to take your orders. No AI. No empty speaker. No computers. An actual person to place your order with! Instead of the traditional drive up window, they now have you park on whichever side you chose and they bring the food out. It's hot. It's delicious. It's well made. So far I have never had an order go awry. I have picked up carryout meals here several times when traveling north on I-69 and wanted a quick meal. The food here has always been excellent and ready quickly. On this visit I ordered on the app and picked up inside. My cod dinner was excellent. I also ordered a side of pickle chips with brewpub sauce. This is a limited time featured item that I have tried several times, and I wish this would be permanently added to the menu. The pickle chips have a perfect amount of breading and the mustardy brewpub sauce is the perfect dip. Service has always been friend here. I came through the drive thru and got 2 meals with fries, Just like everyone else i went and grabbed a fry while driving to my destination. After arriving i got my food out and saw there was a huge mosquito bug literally pressed onto a couple of my fries. I mean i can see the legs head and fuzzy body with the proboscis. A big one at that. I feel sick to my stomach and obviously don't trust that the rest of the food hasn't been touched. I called to see if i could possibly get a refund because i don't really want to get more food from somewhere that already served me mosquito french fries. I spoke to the manager and told them the situation. The manager did not offer to remake my food and told me a refund was not possible and he could send me a couple coupons to my address. I told him i felt this was inadequate and i have worked in multiple different food establishments and this has never been the way something was handled. the manager then said he discussed with the higher up manager and they said it would only be possible to refund the two fries because the rest of the food was up to par. How can you possibly tell me the same food in the same bag with the bug hasn't been contaminated. In this economy i feel as these people are literally playing with people's money and time. I spent 32.04$ for 2 meals that i can't even eat it let alone enjoy the meal. I ALREADY ATE A FRY WITHOUT KNOWING THERE WAS A WHOLE MOSQUITO IN NY FRIES. I am so disappointed and irritated by the service provided from this restaurant and really want my full refund. read more

I understand busy times mean a longer wait but it is such an unethical business practice to keep online, curbside ordering open (with no adjusted wait times) when the restaurant is not at the capacity to facilitate those orders. I placed an order online with and with a 5 minute wait time estimate. When I pulled in to the parking lot the restaurant was OVERFLOWING with people, cars were literally illegally parked in the parking lot due to a lack of space. It was an absolute madhouse, it was horrible. I was trapped into the order I had placed on the app before I saw the sheer insanity, all because this business does not have the decency to shut off or adjust times on online ordering. I waited thirty minutes on top of the 5 minutes that were already estimated, and I missed my movie plans because of this! I am happy to accept a 30min wait time when I know what I'm getting myself into, but NOT when I am trapped into an online order with no option to cancel. There is absolutely no excuse for a huge franchise like Culver's to cut corners on online ordering and app development, updated wait times are common practice and decency now and days and online/app ordering should be cut off if you don't have to capacity to take those orders! The food and custard came out decent (except the fries were cold) and the food runner was very sweet. So in general this is not a critique of the staff but of the franchise. DO BETTER WITH THE APP/ONLINE ORDERING. Let the restaurant cut off orders or adjust wait times. I'd rather find out that they are too busy and come back the next day for a pleasant experience than to be ticked off because I missed my movie and waited 6x longer than I was supposed to. read more

Really nice service from every person we met. This visit was to meet friends and sit and visit, and no one rushed us in the slightest. The food was solidly good and the room was kept clean by the constantly patrolling employees. The large lot and drive-through were hopping the whole time we were there (a couple hours!) and it sure makes sense why that is: this Culver's outlet is a good place. read more

I was visiting a friend on a cold, post-snowstorm day, and we decided we wanted ice cream, but from somewhere with a parking lot since I didn't feel like a second round of hunting for a street spot (did that once earlier in the day for brunch) with all the ice still around. This turned out to be lovely. Culver's has a big parking lot, and we both like their custard. I had a scoop of the flavor of the day which was a berry lemon cake swirl and it was excellent. The lemon custard had a berry swirl and chunks of pound cake. It was fresh and delicious. Service was super-friendly, and even though we were just getting custard, they still brought our order to the table and offered cups for water. The eating area was really clean even though they likely had just finished the lunch rush. The restaurant is bright and sunny which was perfect on a cold day. I definitely need to keep this place in mind if I want to grab a cone on my way out of town. read more

I'm not huge of fast food so it took a few months to finally try to new Culver's in Bloomington and it was probably only my 3rd Culver's experience ever. A group from work wanted to go for lunch on a Wednesday and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. A few months in they've done a great job keeping the restaurant clean and the overall decor ties really well into the community as well as the owner's IU basketball ties. I was most impressed by how hands on the owner was as I saw him do every single role yesterday from working the register, delivering food, clearing tables, and assisting with the drive thru. I believe the speaks volumes to the culture of the place. I ordered the blue cheese and chicken salad which was surprisingly good and a side of the limited edition sweet potato fries which were warm and crispy. My first trip to the "new" Bloomington Culver's and I was pretty impressed. Service from the folks at the order counter was great. Had fast and friendly service from the young woman who took our order. It was lunchtime and Culver's was hopping. Our order took a bit of time to get to our table. The person who brought it out had walked past us twice. Again, the place was packed, and the staff was very busy. The food was tasty. Definitely up to the Culver's standard. It's fast food, but it's decent quality. I had the chicken sandwich and my partner had the fish sandwich. Both were nice and hot and the fries were hot and delicious too. I will note that the salt shakers are horrible, the salt pours out way too fast, so be aware if you want to salt your food. We ordered a couple of Concretes to go on our way out. It was interesting to stand up front waiting for them and observing what was happening in the kitchen and behind the counter. You can see that they are still ironing out some rough spots in their service. It was good to see that the people who work there were helping each other out and working together. All in all, I think they need a bit more time to get their service in tune with their food at this Culver's location. The staff is friendly, the food is good, just take some patience with you when you go. read more

Frankly we are getting tired of this Culvers. Waited 15 minutes for our takeout then the order was wrong and even one burger was cold. Didn't find out about order until on the road. Furthermore it seems 80% of the time eating there we have stomach issues. None of this happens in Greenfield. Just wonder what is going on in this place. Won't be going back for some time. read more

The service here is stellar. I've been here multiple times and Culver's just doesn't do it for me. I think their burgers could be hotter and the fries could have more flavor.
