Confused on the low rating? We have recently been going every Friday for dinner, drinks and the love band. Food is always super good! Favorite is the steak ams oh my gosh the cornbread!!! Drinks on point, reason for the 4 stars service is never consistent! We now have our "regular" server/bartender so all is good! But really they all should be good. The band always advertises a start time but will start up to about 45 mins after the posted time which is annoying. Appears the "posse" all has to be there before he actually starts. read more

A couple of us made our 1ST visit to WR yesterday for there Brunch with unlimited mimosa's and bloody marys. The service was great ! The mimosa's flowed and the food was great! Brunch is 11-2 Saturday and Sunday. We will be back! read more

I've been to Whiskey couple times before but I went on a Thursday night by myself after work to loosen up and just socialize. I had couple of drinks and towards the end of the night I was chilling at the bar and I saw a pretty girl and I unfortunately held my gaze too long cause she was so damn beautiful. She looked at me and kinda started to get aggressive, she said hey don't look over here, I was about to compliment her on how beautiful she was but I stopped cause she got up and got all up in my face. She called over security and told him ask me to leave, I was like for what, she said because I was being a creep. The security came and said she was the bar manager and I need to leave. I was like bro I did nothing wrong, he said I needed to go so I got up and left. I learned an important lesson, that not all beautiful woman are beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside! The two things that stick out of the most was the attractive country bar style atmosphere as we entered and then the horribly unprofessionally prepared food that was served to us. With very few people in the bar it took the kitchen over a half hour to prepare the meatloaf for my wife and the rib nachos for me. She said the meatloaf tasted good, slightly dry. The nachos tasted good as well, but the whole thing was COLD. Not just "not warm", but cold! I'm fairly certain they took the rib meat from the fridge mixed it with the nachos, canned nacho cheese, shredded cheese (that wasn't melted), added the jalapeño slices and served it as was- cold. Because they darn sure didn't place it in the oven. The bartender asked how it was and I said COLD. She just stared blankly then looked down and went about her other activities. Why did she ask? I can tell you this much, whoever works in that kitchen is NOT a professional chef. They are kitchen workers hitting that minimum wage. Which is the fault of whoever does the hiring and owners. If you're going for that country bar feel. Not bad. Do NOT go for the food or drinks- unless it's just beer. And that is 100% the fault of the owners and management read more

Well let me tell you first and foremost that I HATE country music..... with that being said this place was right on time. I brought my wife, her brother and my two kids here because we got hungry and my wife LOVES country music. So let's see here where do I begin. Food 5 stars, drinks 5 stars, atmosphere 6 stars. Ok let's see how to tell you what I experienced. For our appetizer we started of with a delicious chips and salsa. Now I've always said to my wife, if they can't make a good chips and salsa then the rest is gonna be all down hill. The chips and salsa was so on point that I ordered another order. We at the table were super surprised on the flavor profile and how crisp and how fresh the chips and salsa tasted. It was a bit spicy but I like it like that. My wife said it had a slight kick and she was like ohhhhh.... but she kept digging in and going back for more. So I think she liked it. My brother In law got a Hawaiian burger and it was so good that he said he will have to save a half for later. The fries he said tasted like they use the freshest fryer oil, what ever that means :) my wife had a chicken Caesar salad. Thick cuts of chicken lay on top of a fresh crisp medley of greens. Mm hmm my son had a medley of sides (how random) two pieces of corn bread, macaroni and cheese and a piece of corn on the cob. I had a green Chile burger with onion rings. Before I tell you about this delicious burger let me tell you about these onion rings.... perfect. You ever go to the fair and have like something random like a deep fried snickers or a deep fried pickle?! These onion rings were a fluffy delight that they melted in my mouth with every delicious bite. The burger..... green Chile slapped on and all the fixins. It was cooked just the way I asked and even came with a side pickle. So let's recap. Huge burger, fresh onion rings and a pickle on the side. I'm very impressed with what was done to this establishment. Although I do not agree with the music selection, I will return. They have so many T.V.'s and sports was on. On some of the other televisions they where playing country music videos. They have an outdoor lounging area which is for smokers or relaxing. They have indoor lounge area which looks cozy. They have a dance floor and a live bad. I got some good pictures for you to view. Oh the prices... they are pretty good. Everything was good and I had a great meal. When I was walking in I noticed that there are 4 VIP parking spots right up front. As I got closer I noticed that they were for the owners of the business. My first impression was that the owners feel they are more important than the customers and they deserve the best parking - not you or me. We arrived during happy hour. The beer selection is pretty standard and the prices they charge for draft beer during happy hour is far too high for me to come back. Overall, the atmosphere is okay, but definitely not a place I will come to drink. I didn't eat anything so I will not comment on the food and I believe they get pretty crowded on weekends when they have bands. I am pretty disappointed because i was looking forward to a new place to go on the NW side. read more

Today the bar had a tremendous amount of people, not only is every single person working to make things run as smoothly as possible. I admire the hard working staff but also how the owner Greg went to help customers and Tonisha (bartender) made my mojito the best I've had and to say the least I'm very picky! First time here and it was amazing! Came on Mother's Day with a friend to celebrate. The food was amazing the mimosa deal for brunch is great. Hailey was our server and she's very attentive and nice even when we could see she was very busy. My drink was never empty. The place is huge as well beautiful dance floor area. My mom and I came for lunch and ended up just sharing an appetizer which was really good! Found out later the chicken wings weren't fully cooked through after taking them home but everything else was great! My mom loves country music she was happy to not see sports on all the TVs. This place is the worst EVER, the service is the worst I've ever seen, I wish I could give negative stars, we went to a family birthday party and got kicked out at 9:00 because we were minors(we're 20) I get we can't drink but we're with our parents and not ordering drinks, the guy didn't even say it nicely he was very rude and disrespectful. We didn't have a problem leaving because we didn't want to have to deal with any of them being even more disrespectful, on our way out are family member accidentally dropped a glass, and the bouncer rushed to attack him, got all up in his face and accused him of doing it intentionally(it was a complete accident) when trying to explain it he replied with "shut up, you're going to pay for this" (we had no problem paying for the $3 glass ) they were so rude and disrespectful, being very aggressive, my only regret is not getting this on video to put them on blast, but OVERALL this place is horrible! read more

The majority of the staff here is great! However, the old guy with the goatee that heads their security is extremely rude, and highly uneducated on how to respectfully resolve conflict in a professional manner. He makes rude remarks to customers, swears on everything under the sun that there is a .001% chance that he could be wrong, and when he gets proven wrong he will still try to high road you and be an ass in the process. All his employees saw him being disrespectful before AND after he got told he was wrong, they should understand now that his credibility to hold any position of high authority is equivalent to a toddler being qualified to teach physics. their security their is a joke and tried to tell the SHERIFFS that their verification of a legal ID was wrong because their little $2 iphone app said it was fake; what a bunch of geniuses this place hires, they would tell the POLICE that they are wrong. Anyways, if their manager or owner or whoever sees this, you should've had Rick do your onboard training, that is respectable security and this clown running your show now is about as bright as a turd in a 60ft hole. read more

Always a fun time. Seen a couple of bands and been there when the DJ was playing, the music is always good. Staff is always friendly. I'm a beer drinker but I did taste the gin fizz which was delicious. The only thing is they never have drink specials or don't tell you if they do. read more

Yelp is a great site for customers to get a feel for the establishment before trying out themselves. Have you ever noticed that people who don't get "Their Way", or disregard the policy of the business to include going as far as breaking the law will log on to Yelp and write a bad review in retaliation. Unfortunately that occurs from time to time. Recently Juan B. posted his experience, But forgot to included the Honest Truth... You see Juan had walked up to a table that was marked as reserved by Two signs, one on each side of the table. As overserved by other customers, Juan removed one of the signs ripped it up and threw it away. When the server approached and explained to Juan that the table was reserved, the server was rudely dismissed by Juan. When the manager approached Juan, he then explained that the table was reserved and paid for by another party. Juan replied that it was not reserved and he would not leave. After repeated polite attempts from the manager, Juan went from rude and defiant to insulting, obviously sparked by a previous encounter. The manager walked away and informed his boss, the owner, who left the kitchen told handle the situation. When they arrived at the table, Juan had walked away leaving the black security guy with a message, Tell Mike he is an A--hole. It was then decided that Juan would only be more trouble for the staff and other customers. When exiting the building Juan immediately began to rant to Mike and continue to be hostile and insulting, after calling him out on the fact that he, Juan, ripped up the sign, Juan refused to admit the truth and eventually asked to leave by the owner. I came to whiskey Roads tonight for the third week in a row and the DJ tonight was not up to Par. I went up and requested Foot Loose by Blake Shelton and he said that it was coming up. I have been here since 7:30 and have not once heard Footloose. A DJ should be accommodating and listening to its audience. It's 12am almost 5 hours later and I haven't heard it. First thing, the four best parking places right in front of the building are ostentatiously reserved for the owners. I guess they want the public to know they are much more important than the guests. Second, in a place called Whiskey Roads I expected a large selection of whiskeys, given the country western vibe at least a big selection of bourbons and ryes. Nope, to say their selection was minimal is being generous. They have no featured cocktails or cocktail menu, once again belying their name. Food was awful. My chicken (($15.00) was inedible. When I complained, the waitress said I should have told her sooner. Owner reduced my bill by $1.50. One of my dining partners was served cold fries. When she complained waitress said that never happened before. None of the other 7 people dining with me was happy with the food. NEVER going back. The pits as far as customer service & relationships. The food was the worst I've ever had. I ordered a New York strip steak and backed potato. The potato tasted old and the steak tasted like it was dropped on the flood kicked around for a while and cooked on a dirty grill. It was burnt and left a funny taste in your mouth. This is the first time I have never finished a steak dinner. My wife's burger was raw. The draft beer was not cold. I would have expected more from a newly opened establishment. read more

We have tried this place two times now. The first time was on a fairly slow Thursday night. Nice open floor plan with tables spaced apart. Got a table right away, but waited approximately 15 minutes before we asked a server walking by for help. She said she'd get someone right over. Ten minutes later another server showed up. Service continued to be very slow and the food was overpriced for being just okay... Our drinks ran empty multiple times. Hoping that this new country bar/restaurant would make a go of it, we decided to give it another try. Second visit on a slow Wednesday night. Unfortunately same extremely slow service as the first visit. After ordering our meal, it took 40 minutes to arrive. During this time I noticed two younger guys milling around. Asked server if they were the managers, yes they were. Continued to watch these 'managers' to see if they were doing anything to help the slow service. No, they were too busy chatting it up with a young girl off to the side. Then they grabbed a table and just sat there chatting with another guy. Wouldn't you think with this being a new restaurant that the managers would be busting their butts to make sure all the guests were having a great experience? Shouldn't they be training/helping the obviously new wait staff? I guess they were there to relax too... So disappointed that we won't a back. read more

We were very excited to have a new place by us. We went for dinner. I LOVE hamburgers, so that is my test to see if I would like place. Our first impression wasn't great, as it took about 6 minutes to give someone our drink order. It went down hill from there. Our server did nothing but complain that she was overwhelmed. 15 minutes later she took our order. Not sure why she was overwhelmed because all she did was take our order and make us hunt her down for the bill. The only reason it got 3 stars was because the slightly over priced hamburger was pretty good. We did go as soon as it opened so they could work the kinks out. They haven't yet. read more

Reading the reviews I'm noticing people are saying drinks are overpriced. Wed nights they have $1 domestic drafts, $2.50 wells and $4 white claws. Also on happy hour you can get a bud light draft for $3 or vodka soda for $4. This place gets really busy and it's a fun place to dance. They recently installed fans and railings to keep people off the dance floor with drinks. The DJ is a lot of fun and will take requests if you ask him. Bartenders are fast and friendly and let you know about specials they have going on. Also the patio is dog friendly! And if you're looking for food recommendations try the spare rib nachos. read more

Great service! The waitress was very accommodating to substitute the standard offered sides for a side salad. Although only one side ordered, instead of the two that came with the meal, there was no discount for the missing side. Nor, was the side salad upgraded to a full salad, which would been of equal value. Food was cooked to order. The Ribs were very flavorable. I would highly recommend them. Bathrooms were clean. Typically crowded on weekends but service is usually pretty timely even with the crowds. Now that they're starting to have drink specials it's even better, but if you're going to hear actual country music played don't expect to hear much (unless there is a live act playing). read more

We've gone to Whiskey Roads about 4 times to hear and dance to the wonderful Country Music of Clear Country Band. We've eaten dinner each time (good salad, but not cheap -- $14). The food has been very good. However, the service is unbelievably bad. Not sure how management can permit such surly staff if they are really trying to make a go of a restaurant/bar/night club. They have a large garage door and they leave it open, which is fine in the summer, but tonight was in the 40's and the wind was blowing. With the current virus circulating we certainly don't need our immune systems compromised by being chilled to the bone. We asked the waitress to close the door and she refused. She was unbelievably rude to us -- slamming my drink on the table. When I spoke to a manager he asked if I wanted a new server and I said "yes", but I received the same server (Amy K.) -- be careful to avoid that waitress. We have had surly service most times we have been there -- bad/rude service leaves a rotten taste in your mouth and makes it difficult to enjoy yourself. Considering the bad service, and the disregard for our health with cold air blowing on our table (the warm side of the room is always full), we would not go back if it weren't for the good band. read more

We wanted to try this place out, so we went Sunday around 8:15ish. The Server let us know the kitchen closed at 9 and we needed to hurry. We weren't getting anything complicated just 2 appetizers and a dessert. The food was definitely over priced and mediocre. The fried Zucchini was under cooked as well as the apple cobbler I got. I guess the ovens stop working at 9 too ‍. The cheese fries were ok, but nothing amazing for the price! The server really wanted to get out of there and mentioned it several times. She was a little pushy to get us to pay. I know what it's like to be a server who just got cut and still have a table, but it didn't excuse the poor service. We felt a little un-welcomed in the dinning room, so we moved to the bar since the place was open until 2am? Now the bartenders were excellent! So sweet and accommodating! That's the only reason I gave this place 3 stars. I don't believe I'll be back for their food, but I'll be back for a drink for sure!! read more
