When you go there don't pay the cover. I tried going two different times with my group. Both times we saw some people pay a cover and others not. When people paid the cover, the bouncer just put the money in his pocket. I don't know if the owners know this practice but the doormen are killing their business. I was wearing nice khaki shorts because I'm overweight I have to wear elastic bands with no button. Young ladies beware if you go here: DO NOT expect support by the very men paid to keep you safe here, and stay with your friends (and watch your drinks). I pick up and drop off a lot of young ladies at this establishment, as a rideshare driver. Well tonight I picked up 4 young women who are visibly upset because one of them was cornered and sexually assaulted by a young man. She kneed him in the balls and threw a drink at him to get away, found her friends, then they reported him to three of your bouncers, and a police officer outside. Then THEY were thrown out. The male was allowed to stay. This took place at approximately 1:30am tonight. This will never make the news, nobody is going to care, young women are going to keep going there, feeling safe with all these bouncers, and not knowing they will be summarily dismissed instead of being supported if they are attacked in this very popular bar. You need to retrain your staff and review your policies. read more

There was nothing redeeming about this place. Stopped there on a week night, not many people there at all. The bartender that served us acted like she didn't want to be there at all. For a bar with the word whiskey in the name, their creativity and whiskey selection was lacking. Felt more like a club then a bar. The music was far too loud for the speakers and horrible. I have never drank my drink and wanted to leave somewhere so quickly ever. This is a good place for the naive college crowd, that just became able to legally drink and doesn't know anything about good alcohol or how to make good drinks. The vibe in here is just terrible. This place was literally the worst club/bar I've ever been to. 1. False Advertising- They promote having a huge selection of whiskeys online but didn't have 4 different whiskeys I asked about (including Seagram's 7 and Gentleman Jack). They also have a food menu online but claimed there kitchens have been closed for months. 2. To Loud- The Live singer was amazing, however at 10PM the club kicked into full swing and they started playing music so loud that I couldn't hear myself speaking, and even the bartenders couldn't hear what people were saying. 3. Literal theft- The Bartender (Amanda) stole money from me and when I yelled at her to give it back she pretended she couldn't hear me and walked away and a bouncer asked me to leave. 4. Sexism- My wife and my buddy came out to make sure I was okay after leaving. They went back in to close their tabs and get the rest of our friends from upstairs. As they were heading up they were stopped by the bouncers and were told "there's to many people up there" and that they would make an exception for my wife but not my buddy. My wife told them she'd stay downstairs so my buddy could go up and the bouncers told them no and asked them to leave. So in short this establishment isn't worth going to for anything. Any other club in Worcester is better and if you don't mind driving a few extra minutes just go to a really nice bar or club in a neighboring town. read more

Stay away at all costs. Bouncer kicked me out with no explanation of why when I was simply sitting at the bar with my girlfriend. The bouncer then locked the door keeping my girlfriend hostage inside while I was trying to get her outside since I had called an uber. While I was knocking on the door to get my girlfriend out the bouncer slammed the door into me out of anger which is assault. The bouncer I'm referring to is the one that could use extensive dental work and anger management classes. The only reason I'm not pressing charges is because his life seems hard enough already as is. After about 10 minutes I finally got my girlfriend out and grabbed her arm to lead her away at which point the bouncer came after me saying I assaulted my girlfriend by grabbing her arm after they'd held her hostage for 10 minutes. The servers are rude, the drinks are a waste, and the bar side facing the window is consistently blocked by the giant line waiting to gain access to the upstairs (which by the way, takes HOURS). These drinks are 99% sprite and 1% alcohol. Drink at your own risk. You're better off getting a beer or going down the street to Compass even though it smells like warm kitty litter..not sure if you're into that. I've never had such hopes for a bar been dashed so quick upon entering. This is a college bar masquerading as a high end "whiskey bar", boasting "over 300 bottles of whiskey". Asked the bartender, who had probably the shittiest attitude I've encountered, if there was a cocktail list. "No". What about any specialty cocktails? "No". The only advertisement for cocktails I saw featured a vodka/Red Bull drink. That's when I knew it was not a craft cocktail bar. Ordered 2 Whiskey Sours, 2 beers, and a martini. The whiskey sours were made with a sour mix and garnished with a lime. A lime? The beers were both flat(2 different beers), this means either poor gas mix leading to flat beers, or dirty glasses. I'm leaning toward dirty glasses based on how I'm feeling afterward. This place could really be something with good management and staff, a great cocktail program, hell, even a smile from the bartender. They'll survive focusing on their college clientele but they'll never get my business again. read more

Watered down even though I opted for the $2 more drink (jesus dude... you must have fell over when my card didn't get declined when I cashed out my highly overpriced $82 tab? ) Weird crowd, mostly college/younger but there was a cool mix of older creepers and mid life crisis dudes trying to cheat on their wives too. Not worth anyone's' time for anything. Even for a cheap one night stand.. you'll def be leaving with chlamydia. Pretty cool spot. Hadn't been in Worcester in about 5 years and boy is the city around Kelley square looking great. This bar is right in the center of it all and a great time with a live DJ. I did however tear my MCL while dancing which I guess goes to show how electric it was but it hurt. I had to limp around the rest of the night which wasn't fun but a couple of RBVs kept me going. "SECURITY" are only looking out for themselves. We got forced out of this establishment because one of my friends slipped and fell on something wet on their floor. We were asked to leave immediately. Not one of them asked if she was hurt, (which she was). All they cared about were being the boss and making us leave because according to them we were "being disorderly". They wouldn't even listen to us. We were on our way out PER THEIR REQUEST and they wouldn't even let us wait inside the door for our UBER. I'm not sure what they thought two females were going to do by the exit with a "bouncer" next to us, but they acted like we were taking down the whole place and needed to be ejected. The staff here were rude throughout the night not only in this instance which was completely unnecessary. For example, I asked another one of them where the bathroom was and he pretended he didn't hear me and continued looking at his phone. It seems like this whole joint is run by mid twenty year old guys who do not care about the patrons, all they care about is getting through the night doing as little as possible. read more

I went here with my fiancé for the first time for some night life, so we didn't order food at all. The downstairs was a live band and the upstairs had a dj. Depending on your tastes, style and mood you could get a variety of music here. I definitely enjoyed myself and will be back for sure. The DJ has the place jumpin! I will say the line to get upstairs was kind of a bummer but the fact you can still hear the music from Upstairs helps because you can just dance in line. read more

I ordered a whisky drink that the bartender made up off the top of her head (it was NOT good) and charged $9 for what is essentially a little bit of whisky, ginger beer and lemon and lime. I'm not one to go out of my way to leave a good or bad review but I made it a point to leave a review for this place. My group of friends and I were in the line to get in for 40+ minutes in 20 degree weather. Bouncers blamed the long line times on "law enforcement making rounds to ensure they don't go over the max capacity" seeing as it was St. Patrick's weekend. However, anytime a group of hoochies made their way up to the front of the line and asked for the bouncer, he would let them in. Every time this happened, the entire line of people that were patiently waiting got pissed and started complaining (I don't blame them one bit). On top of that, speakers/sound system is not good and drinks overpriced for the type of bar that it is. Music was not up to date and overall not good. I will not be going back. read more
