What makes this even more disappointing is that this is not the first time this has happened to me. I have shown up there before well before closing time and experienced similar issues with early closure and refusal of service. I understand this is a privately owned bar and restaurant, but closing almost an hour early while customers are still arriving is bad business and misleads patrons into believing they will be served during posted business hours.
