Our new puppy, Whisky, is 6 months old and we had to leave her for 12 days. Whisky has extreme attachment issues to me and also a lot of energy. Whisky loved being at Ryan's home and I felt at ease while on vacation. Ryan has acres for the dogs to play and they sleep in Ryan's home. No kennels and there is someone always home with the dogs. I would give Ryan's place 10 stars if I could.

I live far where I have to take a ferry across the water to get to seattle/everrett area. Unfortunately because of the ferry system and events occurring downtown the boats were over an hour late. With this location I had initially put a request to drop off my dog at 3pm Saturday and pickup Sunday afternoon. But due to the ferry system I was very late but luckily The company was very accommodating and were understanding of the traffic situations I sadly didn't reach the location until 8pm, happily They have someone at the location 24/7 to watch all the pups and help take my dog in for the night. They keep you updated with texts and photos of your doggy so you know they are safe and even have a live cam you can monitor your dog with. He received spoiled treats and a lot of exercise and socialization. He could play all day. Picking him up was smooth as well. We were really excited to get our first puppy but we did not realize all the headaches that were to come. A month or so in, I was at Pet Pros in Lake Stevens buying a muzzle for my puppy because he would not stop biting my wife. The clerk suggested that rather than use the muzzle begin working with a trainer. She handed me Kim's card. Kim has been a great trainer. The constant nipping has become a thing of the past. Redford knows over a dozen commands. Whether he listens or not is something we are still working on :-), but he is only 6 months old. Incredible! Additionally, my favorite thing about Lake Stevens K9 Academy LLC is that I am able to board my puppy with Kim. Redford loves his "playdates". We enrolled our energetic…read moreBelgian Tervuren in a few puppy classes and he eventually completed his Canine Good Citizen test. It was a great way for him to be socialized and learn good manners. The classes were very low key and practical. We have continued to work with Kim and her team with dog boarding during our vacations and occasionally home drop ins when we have to work long hours. There's no one else we trust more! They always have great attention to detail and treat our dogs like family. We also have an elderly German Shepherd with reactivity and she does great with Kim as well. Highly recommend!

It can get pricey, but I've found it's definitely worth it, with a GPS image of the route and a snapshot from the walk. This sounds silly, but the images they send are often like professional pet portraits and it gives me peace of mind while I'm traveling. One of them is currently the background on my phone. They also do nice holiday perks, like a Thanksgiving turkey meal or pictures of your dog with the Grinch (who's a very committed staff member in a full blown costume). I get the sense that the folks who work here are good people who love dogs and have a solid sense of humor. Whenever they arrive, my pup jumps up to say, "Hi" and gladly hops along into the car. TLDR - I always feel confident sending my dog here, and I appreciate how they take such good care of my sweet girl.

We found Just Peachy Pet Care at a challenging time in our lives, and we are so thankful we did…read more Both of our dogs were elderly and each of them needed special care. Our Labrador had just begun chemotherapy pills for colon cancer, and our Terrier had kidney disease. They both needed extra walks, cleanup, and affection. They also needed each other--they were inseparable. We were also dealing with ill and elderly family members out of state, necessitating many trips on short notice, some lasting several weeks. It was a very stressful and hectic time. With our dogs' special needs, commercial boarding facilities could not accept them. Other local boarders would not administer the chemotherapy medication or keep our dogs separated from other dogs to ensure safety with the chemotherapy passing through the system. Veterinarians could not provide the level of attention and affection needed. And this was far too much to ask of any friends. We needed specialty care for 2 dogs of drastically different sizes, and we needed availability on short notice (sometimes only a few hours' notice), plus the flexibility to not know when we would return from traveling. Just Peachy Pet Care to the rescue! Rebecca and Valerie provided a level of care for our pups that we couldn't even have imagined. Our pups were sooooo happy. Soooo comfortable. Sooooo loved. Soooo safe. And we were so relieved. We still don't know what else we would have done if we hadn't found JPPC. They even surprised us with pictures from a holiday photo shoot. Our pups were each able to stay with Rebecca and Valerie frequently until their final weeks. These stays even included trips to our vet for checkups, tests, and emergency visits, calling us into the appointments to speak with them and the vet together. We knew when it was time to get home and be with our dogs thanks to this incredible care. We said goodbye to each of our pups with very peaceful and affectionate final days, and then we returned to be with family after. We know this would not have been the possible without Rebecca, Valerie, and team. Thank you so much for everything you did for us and our beloved pups.
