The team here is so supportive and understanding and have been great working with our new pup. It is great that they keep the play groups small and allow the dogs to have rest time during the day. Our boys Snickerdoodle and Huckleberry both go to the Dog Spot in Everett. Snickerdoodle did puppy pre school then transitioned to doggy daycare. The training they get in preschool is wonderful and sets them up for life. Huckleberry is still in preschool and is loving it. We love the report cards you get showing what they did that day. Dog Spot is great for socializing your dogs they get dog interaction and human interaction. Jennifer and her staff are all so nice and you can tell they all love dogs. Our dogs are so excited when we get there they can't wait to get in there and play with there friends. My 8 month labradoodle Puppy named Simba has been attending the dog spot since he was 4 months old. He started with Puppy Pre K and graduated to day care for micro dogs when he turned 6 months old! I can't say enough amazing things about the facility and staff. I was super hesitant to take my little baby anywhere and did a ton of research. Dog spot is the BEST. They have amazing employees who treat the dogs like little kings and queens! They also don't just let the dogs go rampant. They do groups by age, size, play type etc. so much thinking goes into who your little baby will play well with! On top of that you get daily report cards with comments, pictures and videos! Originally we first went to The Dog Spot for Puppy I classes. It was a six week course, and considering we had been so diligent working on the basics at home we assumed these classes would mostly just be for socializing our tiny but fearless Yorkie. Boy, was I ever wrong. While he'd never shown any fear of people, cats, or older dogs, it turned out that he was very scared of puppies. Especially off leash puppies who wanted to play. That was when I realized how much we needed The Dog Spot. I hadn't even considered day care as I have plenty of time for the puppy. I assumed we'd only go for classes. But it turns out the puppy needed day care even if I didn't. Being only a tad over three pounds at our first class and him not knowing anything past the puppy manners he learned with his litter, he needed a chance to gain confidence around dogs before he could enjoy them. So we enrolled in their puppy preschool and it is worth every penny. After scheduling a tour and getting to talk to people working there I really felt like he would be in good hands. Not only do they keep a good eye on his progress, they also send a report card after every visit with photos and videos of his day. I really appreciate the training they give as well and the class videos are easy to follow along at home. The staff has been super helpful answering my questions and giving me recommendations too. I'm so glad we came here instead of going to some random puppy social as they really learn to know the dogs and match them up so they can control the environment and all interactions well. I've watched my puppy go from a terrified, cowering mess to a bouncy, playful little dog who loves almost nothing more than going there. He's so excited every morning when he realizes we're going and he loves everyone there. It makes me feel so proud to see him flourish and I'm so thankful for the help. I'm also thankful for a little time to myself too, it really helped with the puppy blues. 13/10 Good job! read more

We've been sending our 3 year old Shiba Inu to daycare here ever since he developed separation anxiety and could not be left alone while we're at work. Besides the convenient location of being on my way to work, The Dog Spot takes great care of Hanzo and he is always excited to go to daycare and play with other dogs. I really like that the dogs are grouped into small and large groups and that they limit the number of dogs in daycare to provide enough attention and care. Phinney started here as an enthusiastic though socially inept 15 week old puppy. Phinney has a problem with invading other dogs' personal spaces and jumping all over their heads. We had received advice from her trainer to socialize her with some older female dogs so Phinney could learn some lessons before she got into serious trouble as an adult. Worried, I contacted The Dog Spot to see if we could bring her to daycare so she could learn her doggy manners and Nanci assured me that daycare was a wonderful place for puppies to learn how to play. As I had hoped, my little "Type A" puppy got schooled the first day. She came home super tired but calm. After 2 days of puppy daycare, we took her to her obedience class where our trainer remarked about how nicely she played with the other puppies. Score! Phinney's been coming here a few days a week for the past month and she loves it here! Once we start getting close to the place, her tail starts wagging and she just can't wait to jump out of the car and run in to play with her friends. I love how happy this place makes her. The place maintains a Facebook page where they post daily pictures of the daycare pups so pet parents can get a glimpse of their dogs at play. It would be nice if they had webcams so we could watch our dogs having fun too! We've also boarded her for a few days while we're out of town too. She returns home the same happy bouncy puppy. They take care of her well there! I feel very comfortable whenever I leave Phinney at The Dog Spot. I'm happy knowing she's happy! read more

We took our 4-month-old puppy here for drop in puppy play on a Saturday for socialization. About 30 minutes into playing, the instructor comes in to tell us they've had 6 cases of kennel cough and that our puppies may be affected. Two days later, our puppy starts coughing and coughed throughout the night during his sleep. Since kennel cough is highly contagious, we will not be able to take our puppy out for at least 3-6 weeks which will hurt his ability to socialize. We are very upset that they did not tell us about the kennel cough us when we showed up, but waited 30 minutes into play after we paid. I'm not sure why they would even hold a puppy social event at the facility if there are sick dogs there. It's unprofessional and unsanitary. I don't recommended the treat-based training techniques they teach here either. We withdrew our dog from the class after the first class. read more

We can tell that they take the time to help her socialize with other dogs in a calm, positive way. I continue to take both my dogs to the dog spot for day care. The growth I have seen in my great dane as he has attended classes and day care is more than I ever expected from him. He get so tuckered out from his day of playing and socializing that he is a completely different dog, in a good way! The way Jen and Nanci interact with the the dog parents, and the staff is also so professional and kind. They really care about my kids... And understand that my dogs ARE my kids! They also handle problem situations really well. They hire great staff and do an excellent job training them. As the grow and add services, like grooming and vaccinations, they pick the best people to do those things too just adding more and more value to their business. I can always feel confident that my dogs are being treated as good and even better than I care for them at home. I recommend them to everyone that asks about training and day care! So far we've done 1 day of doggie day care and then a few weeks later left our dog there for a long weekend. You ever see a dog just look tired in the eyes? Both times our dog has come home and slept like a rock after spending the day/eve with the lovely staff and other dogs at the Dog Spot. Don't get me wrong she's excited to see us but then she sleeps like I've never seen her do. Basically The Dog Spot is overnight/day camp for your pup. The details - Amazing animal loving staff. Great (and CLEAN) facility. Reasonably priced. Dog's aren't kenneled the whole time so they get a ton of exercise (way more than at home honestly). I love the Dog Spot! My pom is now attending puppy daycare on a weekly basis and they send a report card with videos and pictures of how her day goes. I look forward to seeing them - I think I'm the one that has separation anxiety (lol) and it's so nice to be able to see the care and training they put in with my puppy. I got my puppy at 14 weeks and the breeder didn't complete all her shots. So we had to restart her shot series and wait to have her around other dogs or go to a dog park. I was a little bummed because she didn't have an opportunity to socialize very much with other dogs (she was the last one of the litter). She used to be afraid to go up to other dogs and now when I watch the videos and see her running around with her new best friends - it makes my heart melt! I also really appreciate the fact that they separate the dogs based on age, size, and temperament. Everyone I've met so far here is so great! Today was my dogs first visit, I need to board him in October and they needed to do a trial run to make sure it is the right fit for him before boarding. Ever since making his appointment I have had nothing but friendly wonderful customer service, through email and in person! The lady who took Gizmo in was so nice I felt ok leaving him. I happened to go on the website to make future reservations half way through the day and saw that pictures of Gizmo were uploaded, It was a wonderful surprise! I went and picked him up and again was greeted with wonderful customer service, a different lady had brought him out and told me a little about his day. I was originally just doing this for his trial run for boarding but now want to start bringing him here regularly! Updated review: our dog continues to attend this daycare after graduating puppy preschool , and I still cannot say enough good things about it! We have also used them for boarding. The staff are well trained and knowledgeable. Our pup is a high energy teenager who gets overstimulated at times. Their small play groups and frequent breaks let him socialize and play safety without getting overstimulated or overly tired. They are also very in tune to the dogs, and they let us know if there's anything outside of the norm with his behavior or even his bowel movements. We love this daycare!! Older review: Our new puppy just started puppy preschool here and I am very impressed. Daycare and boarding are great here. The staff are very obvious dog lovers, and are extremely attentative when it comes to play supervision. However, I didn't care for their obedience training at all. While it was good socialization, it felt like a waste of time. My pup is one of the few that are not food motivated whatsoever, and their obedience training focuses on treat rewards. read more

Great Place We have never left our Bear in the hands of strangers before and we were moderately stressed about it, We heard from a friend that The Dog Spot had opened recently and was a nice place. So with our bag full of Doggie paraphernalia including all of Bear's recent shots (Bordatella DHLPP & Rabies A must to even consider taking our Dog anywhere) His Favorite toys and all his joint medication with organic peanut butter so he'll willingly slurp them down(pathetically spoiled creature) I digress. So we show up ,very easy access from I-5, now I'm skeptical its a warehouse! but much to our surprise we get inside and get a tour of their facility 1st impression WOW its so clean and they did an amazing job converting this place its a safe and fun place for 4 legged friends,Padded flooring who knew. check out the facility tab on the website for Pics. Staff was very friendly and reassuring so we left him there for 6 days and nights while we jumped on a plane for a family event. We chatted once while we were gone for about 5 minutes "Bears doing great he's playing eating and sleeping" So we go to pick him up he was healthy very happy to see us and all 90#' bouncing off the walls there going on on about what a great dog he is. The women says the owner was on her way back any minute that she'll be sad she missed saying goodbye....just then she walks in and Bear Stops jumping and slowly walks over to her sits down and kisses her hand. Great place to bring your dog. We had to bring our pooch here when we went on our honeymoon and they took great care of him. We;ve brought him back since several times, and he's always very excited to go and play with the other dogs. They do day care, and boarding, with nice spacious kennels dogs can stay in overnight. We even had a problem with our dog's behavior, and they were willing to meet with us to discuss ways to train him better. They post pics on Facebook of the dogs playing, too, hilarious! From the moment you walk into the dog spot, you can feel just how special it is. You and your dog feel right at home! I recently took my dog there to visit and to get some much cared for advice. I was amazed on how confident and comfortable my dog felt as soon as we step foot inside. I came to the dog spot not only to see it but to get advice on my dog who seems to always have anxiety with new surroundings and frightened. But we went to the dog spot and everything I said about my dog didn't seem possible, she ran around like she owned the place. Got along well with all the other dogs and felt right at home. Trainer and Owner Nancy, is amazing! She has a bond with the dogs like I have never seen. I'm not sure if its just in her blood or what but the dogs are passionate about her as she is with the dogs and they are so obedient. I can't say enough about this place! I have gone to other doggie daycares and I mostly see hired girls who may love dogs, but never have a keen sense with dogs like I saw today with Nancy. Rex had never been boarded or day cared before so we were a little concerned. We called many places around Everett and decided on Dop Spot. What a great pick! The folks at Dog Spot are great, the place is VERY, VERY clean. They were there to do what it takes to accommodate our schedule. Rex did not take to doggy day care the first day; however, we felt good about him being at Dog Spot and know all was done to make Rex as comfortable as possible. The next day he was OK with the situation and when we picked him up it was "OK you are here but I was having a good time". We really appreciate Dog Spot breaking Rex in to Day Care. AWESOME!!! We left our dog in their care for the first time at the last minute over the 4th of July weekend. We got a recommendation from a family member and went with it (it was less than our usual boarding location by $10/day!). We were met by someone who didn't usually tend the desk our first time but she was careful to make a phone call to make sure she didn't miss anything checking us in. Our pooch was a little anxious but was welcomed and loved on immediately. They were very accommodating about picking up on the 4th of July and we were happy to pick up a very happy and worn out Basset Hound!! We boarded our girl there again this weekend and were so excited to keep track of her activities on Facebook of all things! Lots of pictures and videos are posted all the time. This is AWESOME! My 3 year old loves checking to see if there are any new pictures while we are on vacation and it definitely makes us rest assured that she is happy and well tended to!
