I'm so thankful for Arcadia Dog Ranch. My pup is always eager to see the staff; and they give her the very best, loving care.

Arcadia Dog Ranch (Ryan) is the only place I will bring my dogs. Sadie, who has now passed, got excited pulling up to two places. One being my parents farm and the other Ryan's home. Sadie knew we would be leaving her for multiple days always and still was excited to see Ryan. My dog got a vacation while I got a vacation. Our new puppy, Whisky, is 6 months old and we had to leave her for 12 days. Whisky has extreme attachment issues to me and also a lot of energy. Whisky loved being at Ryan's home and I felt at ease while on vacation. Ryan has acres for the dogs to play and they sleep in Ryan's home. No kennels and there is someone always home with the dogs. I would give Ryan's place 10 stars if I could. read more

This place is awesome and well worth the drive from Seattle for me. It's good to know when i'm on vacation that my guy Ali is in safe hands. We visited the original Bone-a-fide in Snohomish and we were turned off by the number of handlers to dog ratio. They seem more interested in getting as many dogs in than making sure your loved one has a great time. At Arcadia, I can guarantee this place is the opposite. I love the coziness feel of the place, it's just like I'm dropping my dog off at a family members house. I encourage everyone to check out Arcadia if you need to board your loved one. My dogs start getting so excited the second we turn down the gravel drive to "doggy camp" I have been taking my dogs here to Ryan for over 5 years now, I appreciate and admire the care he gives my dogs. My Moxie girl is what I refer to as a people dog, she would rather be with people than other dogs, Ryan acknowledges this and gives her the attention she craves so she is truly happy there. He also lets my dog Buster, the dogs dog, have all the running fun he can in a safe environment. This is what sets Arcadia apart from other boarding facilities - the personal attention Ryan gives to each and every dog. He never loses sight of the facts that these are our babies :) I recommend Arcadia to everyone I know who has a dog because I trust Ryan completely. read more

I've been bringing my dog to Ryan for 5 or 6 years. My dog has probably stayed there 15 times or more. I have found that when my little buddy comes home from Arcadia he behaves much more like he was visiting family then staying in a kennel. My dog has had to stay in a kennel a few times over the years and he would come home a little off. He needed a lot of attention and wanted to burn off some energy which didn't always work for me after coming home from a long business trip. He's used to a lot of exercise and freedom. At Arcadia he gets that. He comes home as if he's been on vacation. For the services provided I feel this is one of the best things I can do for my dog if he's unable to travel with me. read more

I am so grateful to have the Arcadia Dog Ranch when I need to leave town without my fur baby! She was a rescue and is terrified of kennels and of being left alone in a small space. Ryan's facility allows her free playtime and outdoors with other dogs all day (if weather permits), and cozy cuddles at night. No kennels! She was very leary of men when I adopted her, but I can attribute her huge progress in confidence to her warm stay with Ryan and his team. We love love love Arcadia for our doggie. She is always so happy and exhausted when we pick her up from Ryan and his family. This facility is very clean and the staff is very responsible. We have done so much research in the area and found this place to be the best there is in the area. We drive up from Seattle when we go out of town, just so our dog isn't confined to warehouse type boarding facilities and is out in the fresh air with her doggie friends. I would highly recommend Ryan and Arcadia to anyone. We wouldn't trust our dog with just anyone. Thanks for keeping her safe and secure (and exhausted!!). read more

Ryan and his staff at Arcadia Dog Ranch are the best. Our boxer Liberty is a regular boarder there, and she just loves it. Ryan will text me updates and send me pictures to let me know how's she doing if she's boarding for an extended period of time. There's plenty of space for the dogs to roam and play, and the house is a cozy place for them to curl up and relax. I can always rest assured that my dog is in a great hands, as Ryan and his staff pay close attention to the needs of all the dogs that stay there. We (or rather our puppy) had a great experience at Arcadia Dog Ranch. I didn't think it was possible to wear out a one-year-old lab, but she came home having had more attention and fun than our three kids give her. We were also nervous about her picking up bad habits, but the training we have given her was respected during her stay. She came home happy and tired. I have been taking my cocker spaniel and retriever mix to Arcadia for the past 3 or so years. My dogs get super excited once we hit that gravel road to Arcadia. Once we get there, they don't even look back! Ryan obviously loves what he does. I love the fact that my dogs have plenty of room to roam and play and are never in crates. We love Arcadia and Ryan is amazing! He took great care of our two dogs and they always came back to us happy. If anything goes wrong Ryan is on top of it and checks in regularly. We really miss taking our dogs here but the rates got a bit too high for us. If you can afford it definitely take your dogs here. read more

I have a german shepherd mix that just recently had surgery at the same time I had to leave for a week. He has been boarding at ADR for a year now. I could never have been so confident leaving him if it wasn't for this place and the people that work there. He came back to me stitches in place and tail wagging when i picked him up. My fiancé and I found out about Arcadia soon after we moved to Seattle over a year ago. We have taken our 4 year old, high-energetic dog there about 3 times now for week long stays while we are out of town. It is the only place I feel comfortable leaving him and not having to worry. We could tell that Hitch loves staying there as well. It's great that the dogs don't have to be in crates and have a lot of room to run and play. I have a border collie who (true to his breed) has endless energy... that makes it really difficult for me to leave him with anyone that isn't fully equipped to deal with him 24/7. Arcadia is absolutely the best place I could take my dog! She whines and wiggles all the way down the gravel road to Arcadia every time, and always leaves happy and tired (always a good sign after playtime!). Arcadia has acres of doggie-yards for running and playtime, and several doggie livingrooms and couches for lounging after the outside playtime. I know my girl only wants to play for so long, and Arcadia gives her the opportunity to run and play and sniff and lounge in the sun, and also to rest in a livingroom like she does at home. In fact, I think she has more fun here than at home when I'm at work. Ryan is attentive and flexible regarding my dog's needs, which shows that he really cares about the animals staying in his home/dog ranch. We have boarded our two blue heeled here a few times and they loved it! They used to shake and hide when we took them to their previous kennel but here they jump out of the car excited to go in. Arcadia Dog Ranch is a wonderful facility, and Ryan is amazing with dogs. Although we have visited many dog ranches, only a couple are good enough for our treasured family members. It is such a pleasure to have the pups come home happy, worn out, and a little sad to leave. I love the fact that there are different spaces for different personalities, allowing every dog a place to feel comfortable and cared for. I would not hesitate to take the dogs there - he is one of the best, most loving dog handler we have found. Quality facility. Have been taking all of our dogs,past and present, to Ryan's. They always seem excited and happy when their stay is complete and we don't have to worry how they are doing. Ryan is awesome. He is so kind and willing to listen to you go on and on about your baby. He truly cares about the experience of all the dogs at the ranch not just one or another but how they all feel while they are in his care. My dog, is only 5 months old and hard to tire, but while in his care she was able to play all day :) My little pup came home and slept from last night until this morning except to potty She must have a had a great time I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, this ranch Some people have said his prices are steep but I have have to say they are more than reasonable She had a great time she didnt even care that we were there to pick us up she wanted to stay I will definitely us him again. I can't say enough about the care and attention that Ryan gives our Labradors Zorro and Zoe. We have been taking them to Arcadia for almost as long as he has been open. They jump out of the rig, swarm Ryan and don't look back when we drop them off. Ryan has a super well thought out property that caters to a dog's safety and fun. Zorro and Zoe come home happy and worn out from playing with their friends - some old and some new. I really can't recommend Arcadia any more highly. As a testament to our commitment to Arcadia, we drive ~110 miles round trip to drop the dogs off and return home for our relatively frequent travel.
