Our Labrador had just begun chemotherapy pills for colon cancer, and our Terrier had kidney disease. They both needed extra walks, cleanup, and affection. They also needed each other--they were inseparable. We were also dealing with ill and elderly family members out of state, necessitating many trips on short notice, some lasting several weeks. It was a very stressful and hectic time. With our dogs' special needs, commercial boarding facilities could not accept them. Other local boarders would not administer the chemotherapy medication or keep our dogs separated from other dogs to ensure safety with the chemotherapy passing through the system. Veterinarians could not provide the level of attention and affection needed. And this was far too much to ask of any friends. We needed specialty care for 2 dogs of drastically different sizes, and we needed availability on short notice (sometimes only a few hours' notice), plus the flexibility to not know when we would return from traveling. Just Peachy Pet Care to the rescue! Rebecca and Valerie provided a level of care for our pups that we couldn't even have imagined. Our pups were sooooo happy. Soooo comfortable. Sooooo loved. Soooo safe. And we were so relieved. We still don't know what else we would have done if we hadn't found JPPC. They even surprised us with pictures from a holiday photo shoot. Our pups were each able to stay with Rebecca and Valerie frequently until their final weeks. These stays even included trips to our vet for checkups, tests, and emergency visits, calling us into the appointments to speak with them and the vet together. We knew when it was time to get home and be with our dogs thanks to this incredible care. We said goodbye to each of our pups with very peaceful and affectionate final days, and then we returned to be with family after. A blond woman was opening the van to put a large dog in while cursing and yelling. After smacking numerous dogs and telling them to get back, she shoved the dog she had leashed in the van and yelled "I'm sick of this shit!" As a long time dog owner, I've never felt it necessary to smack a dog around for any reason. It's counterproductive to their learning experiences and only builds fear or aggression. Screaming at a dog will also give you those results. For a business that advertises "Fun, freedom, friends, places to go and butts to smell", you'd think they'd be kind to their furry clients. Just a heads up to anyone considering this service. It doesn't look like the human in charge has her head on straight.

I've worked in the pet sitting business myself years back, so when Loretta immediately contacted me and then came by to meet the cats, I was wary to see what we were up against. I shouldn't have had even the slightest concern! Loretta is both warm and personable, asks a ton of questions so she knew what we wanted, and got to know each of our kitties. They took to her right away (even the skittish one!) and I felt comfortable after her first "get to know you" visit. I knew our cats and fish were in excellent hands. She came daily, on schedule, spent time with the cats while we were away. She even tidied up around the house and kept them entertained! We got updates via text how they were doing, and she was always quick to respond if I contacted her. So positive and upbeat. We simply adore her and cannot recommend this service highly enough! I know that from here on out, Loretta will be our go-to if we have to go out of town because she's just fantastic with the animals and an all around fabulous lady. I've never felt *so* comfortable being away from home simply because I knew they were in amazing company. I wish I could give 10 stars, but 5 will have to do.
