Linda Dawson (Owner) is the most amazing and truly passionate pet sitter we have EVER had!!!!…read more Whiskers and Tails was recommended to us by our local Vet, Dr Susan Kaftanski whom which I trust implicitly. Linda provided pet sitting for our 20 year old Norwegian Forest Cat Boo Boo. Boo Boo was a very dear fellow with such a gentle heart and we loved him very dearly. Naturally, we were very concerned about leaving him with just anyone. Linda pet sat Boo when we went to stay at a cabin in the Lake Wenatchee area of Washington State many years ago for 3 days. We arrived home and found Boo Boo very relaxed and so very happy to see us. Linda had visited Boo twice daily, played with him and cuddled with him for over 30 minutes per visit. We were sold! We left Boo under her care in April 2017 for 7 days while visiting family in Roanoke, VA and Louisville, KY. Prior to our departure, Boo was very sick with failing kidneys; he was in a bad way. Our vet informed us that Boo was likely to pass away within a week or shortly thereafter. We were very hesitant to go on our trip due to his condition, but we had little choice as our trip was non-refundable. Also, there would have been very little we could have done had we been home; so we decided to go. Linda visited with Boo several times each day and provided him with subcutaneous injections to provide a form of kidney dialysis to keep him alive. She cared for him like a skilled nurse and mother. We arrived home to find Boo's condition had worsened due to the kidney failure. The next day Boo passed away in late morning. Both my wife and I sobbed for the longest time, we were both an absolute wreck! A few days later Linda sent us a large river rock with Boo Boo's name inscribed in it, and some other gifts and condolences. Linda is the most wonderful, pet loving and caring professional that we have ever known. We got a new cat a few months after Boo's passing named "Pixie Dee"; she is a Rag Doll with very pretty (cute) markings. We are growing to love her as much as we did Boo, she has given us such love in the time we have had her. We are planning a trip to Anchorage, AK this winter for our 6th wedding anniversary to have some time together and play in the snow. We are also planning a trip to Surrey, UK early next year to meet Noel Fitzpatrick (The Bionic Vet) and Simon Cowell of Wildlife Aide (Yes, we both love animals). We will again be asking Linda to take care of our loved one in our absence. The things I have mentioned about Linda are only words, it is impossible to express our true feelings for the services Linda has provided us in the past. She is totally awesome!!! We recommend her very very highly! Thanks Linda for all you have done for us, we look forward to your services in the very near future. Steve and Rebecca Larson Mukilteo, WA

I am so amazed by Julie! She has been such a gift for us the past couple of weeks, and my puppy,…read moreGordon, loves her! From the very beginning she made me feel at ease, and has a ton of experience with dogs. On the days she comes to take Gordon for a walk, I get an update on the walk, and some pretty adorable pictures. Her rates are more than fair, and I will be referring any interested parties. Thank you, Julie!

Let me premise this by saying that I have never trusted anyone with my furbabies; to the extent…read morethat I would fly my mother up from Texas-- to be my dogsitter. Yes, I'm THAT person. However, because of a work trip that didn't work out with my mom's schedule, I was going to have to entrust my furry children with someone else. I discovered Julie (Stella & Floyds owner) right here on Yelp, and I am so grateful that I did. She is the ideal dogsitter. She is that person you meet as know instantly that she genuinely LOVES dogs. She has not only provided hours of entertainment for them during standard doggy daycare dates while I'm at work, but she just kept my pups for a week at her house while I was away-- and WOW. She goes above and beyond just boarding dogs! She sends daily text/pic updates, returned them to my house before our flight arrived at night (so we wouldn't have to go a night without them upon return), she lifted blinds, brought a package in, etc. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful dogsitter AND person she is. Needless to say, I will forever use her services whenever I am out of town, and we are also now scheduled for regular doggy daycare dates so my pups can see their new friends often. :)

We don't get much communication but they are starting to post pictures to a Google photo album. They have had issues with people not paying in the past so they are now cash or check only and have an ATM on site. Hopefully they will add website payment at some point. We boarded with a kennel in Oregon that was highly recommended by our breeder and got even less communication but our pup was fine so perhaps that is the norm for busy places.

Especially an anxious one on medication! I got one response in the two weeks our dog was boarded there. Arguably the worst situation, is that upon picking my dog up, she had hair loss and skin lesions under her belly and thigh and on her neck, one actively oozing!! She was filthy, her bedding looked like it was left outside for the 2 weeks! Maybe she was too! I am so upset that I left my dog there, after having to pay $1050, and now vet costs, I cannot recommend this place. We have been coming here for a few years, never again! Owners and facility should be shut down and inspected. The filth of the dog bed alone was alarming, much less my dog having a skin infection!
