I've always been waited on quickly on was happy with my food. Overall, I think the food is just okay. I like that they have special items regularly so you can try new things. Just had the worst experience I've ever had getting dinner. Spent 15 minutes stuck in the one way line with absolutely no movement. When the order was placed, the person taking the order didn't seem sure of themselves at all. Waited another 15 minutes before getting our food. Get home, every food item we ordered was incorrect. This has to be one of the friendliest and pretty clean Whataburgers I've been to. I even witnessed them helping a customer that had a bad experience. They gave him a free coupon for coming back later for another combo. My experience here with their food was pretty good. They would regularly walk around and wipe the tables off once people left and would offer you the condiments like other places do, but they were very nice about it. I came into town last May 2021, this location was being remodeled. I was bummed. Just returned to town for Gem show. Went for a burger for my Birthday. Sat inside. Nicely remodeled. 11:50 am our fries cold our burgers warm totally dry then Burger nowhere near the size of the bun. Pathetic. I told the gal who brought around condiments. She had them remade for us. Nice they came hot and hot fries but TERRIBLE, DRY SO SAD. We BOTH got diarrhea. It will be the last time I ever visit this Whataburger. I love Whataburger's Mushroom Swiss Burger. It is delicious. They also have great fries and offer a nice spicy ketchup that I like to add to my burger. They are efficient. One of the better fast food joints. They are open 24/7 and their burgers are always made to order. To my knowledge, there isn't anything ever sitting under heat lamps at this place. Tucson is a slow, close early city so this is perfect for when you're out late and you don't want to hit Taco Bell or one of the awful 'betos Mexican places. This is most definitely one of my favorite fast food places..this location, especially. They've always been friendly and attentive; And they actually smile, which isn't the case for a lot of fast food places! Food is always hot, delicious, and my order is always correct. I always "personalize" my burger, and they never mess it up. Only one time did I get home and realize they had forgotten my small fry. I'm just a block away, so went back with the bag and receipt - they were very apologetic & sincere, and not only did I get a fresh medium fry in place of the missing small, but they also threw in a cookie! Ok this place is so incompetent! how hard is it when ordering food to get what you want! my wife clearly stated we wanted a triple burger with cheese and may and bacon meal and she wanted a double cheese burger plain. that's what we ordered we get home and the triple burger has only mayo no bacon and my wife didn't even get her burger and to boot the fries are cold. so needless to say we will never be going back to this establishment again . This is probably worst Whataburger I've been too. I ordered a double WB with xtra pickles and onions and mustard and large onion ring. Burger patties were stone cold and had been precooked and sat on the grill for a while. No juices at all. And cook didn't read the ticket correctly. Hardly any onions and no pickles at all. I didn't bother complaining because the cashier was too busy texting on her cell (and she was also chewing gum). So tacky and unprofessional. Onion rings were the only thing cooked fresh. I ate them and threw the burger in the trash. Very disappointing after spending $9.65 just to throw it away. 1 star only just for the hot onion rings. I think the manager that was in there was Zachary? I'm not sure he's very tall and has blue eyes but his customer service was the best I've ever had out of every Whataburger I've been to and honestly just fast food restaurants in general! Incredibly kind and didn't make me feel annoying at all for wanting extra condiments or picky requests like pretty much every other fast food place. They were also pretty busy when we walked in and he was nice enough to say hi and that he'd be with us in a moment and immediately sent someone up front to help us and she was really nice too! If you're from Texas, Whataburger is to us what In n Out is to Californians. We had given up on this location due to undercooked burgers, but happily they've turned things around. I couldn't remember the last time I went to a Whataburger but I happened to see it and thought I'd pick something up. There aren't any locations very close to me, plus we are really trying to stay away from fast food.... buuutt sometimes you just need a really good burger and this really hit the spot. It was lunchtime so I expected it to be busy 19 minutes later I get to the window. The young lady charges me and forgets to give me my change. It was only three dollars but it's my money. So after waiting for what seems forever the cashier for getting my change. I arrive home and opened up my sandwich and Guess What it's wrong again. I simply ordered a double with cheese no onion dry. The amount of mustard on the sandwich is sickening I hate mustard that's why I asked for it dry. Not only did I wait forever but I got a crappy sandwich as well that I cannot eat. I guess I can do without lunch today. Returning to that restaurant will only piss me off. When are you guys ever going to get it together? This is one of the worst hamburger places in Tucson. It's over priced and the Quality is garbage. Even McDonald's is better than this. Ridiculous service, horrible food. The staff here seems to actually care about the customer which is rare at fast food, I especially love Rose. It's a slight cut above the traditional fast food burger but not quite a gourmet burger. This place is a joke after 12 am when they can't even get a simple order correct. When you order their delicious onion rings and pay for them but when you get home you see French fries instead and this happens on more then one occasion. And then you order their hot lemon pies to bite into an apple pie is definitely not good. Oh and then you order their cheddar jalapeño sausage egg an cheese biscuit to only get the biscuit and nothing inside is unreal. So yes I ordered the Onion Rings Cheddar sausage an egg biscuit and a lemon pie and then get home to find out the whole order was wrong. So just make sure you always check your bags before you leave the drive thru because their phones and playing around and joking your order could be wrong. But they also bring a tray of condiments, napkins, coffee refills like a full service restaurant.
