THANK YOU AILEEN! This was my first experience at Whataburger and Aileen was fabulous. She answered my questions about the menu and provided excellent customer service. This girl was running the cash register, working curbside pick-up, AND dropping food off inside the dining room. I love how Whataburger servers have the condiments and napkins ready to go when they drop off your food. I ordered a patty melt w/ grilled onions (a top 3 Whataburger option) and it was juicy! The hype is REAL, I loved my meal. The fries paired with my melt were crunchy, perfectly hot, and the right color! I topped my meal off with a sugar-free lemonade to make myself feel better hahaha. Overall, the aesthetic of this location isn't much to look at on the outside but DO NOT underestimate this establishment, its classic for a reason. Thank you Texas! I stopped here tonight just craving a burger. Well I wanted a double, but also wanted the jalapeño, so I asked them to make the jalapeño burger a double. That was no problem. Basically just threw a few slices of jalapeño onto a double whataburger. 3 bucks for a couple slices of jalapeño wasn't exactly something to make me smile. The burger was pretty good though. The service was fast and no mistakes. I can see going here again, but not for at least a few more years. 15 bucks for a value meal isn't exactly value. Whataburger does make a good enough burger to pay that price every few years. read more

Their burgers were the only fast food burgers that actually had Flavor and Substance to them. It USED to be my favorite burger place. I was out in Arizona last week and stopped at Whataburger. I really like this place. Outside and inside it's not much different than any fast food burger place, but the burgers are really good. I'm from California and everyone raves about In and Out. I actually like this place better. The meat, lettuce, tomatoes and onions all taste fresh and they give you many more choices of burgers than In and Out. The workers are all friendly and always smiling like the staff at In and Out. When you dine in they bring your food to you and bring your choice of sauces to your table. If this chain came out to California it would do very well. read more

I am so incredibly disappointed by the experience I had here at Whataburger. My family and I were very excited to try Whataburger for the first time, so we placed an online order to make sure that we got enough to feed everyone. We ended up doing the 10 burger pack. When we placed the order it said it would come with sides and drinks, when it asked what sides we want we chose fries and a drink. They charged extra to add cheese onto the burgers and when we got our order it was incredibly disappointing. Only about 5/10 burgers had cheese. We got 1 fry for 10 people. 1 drink for 10 people. We didn't get any condiments even thought we asked for some, the burgers were supposed to have ketchup, mayo and mustard, it didn't come with any of that. If you have never tried one, go with the number 1 combo w/cheese. Their special blend mustard is what makes 'the taste'. Ehimy was a very disrespectful employee who made me feel unappreciated as a customer and almost judged for being there! She was no help to the crew as well, as she sat patiently doing nothing as the line of cars behind me kept piling up in the drive thru. The main reason she stuck out to me in the first place was because she wouldn't hand me my order until I answered the question would you want some ketchup or spicy ketchup. After saying no, she couldn't understand me and repeated the question. I then reminded her that I already payed for my food and wanted it, where she refused and waited for my answer which was no ketchup! I'm from Canada and had heard about Whataburger so when I came across one I had to try. I went with my mom and we shared the chorizo burger. It was extremely flavourful and had a good kick (spicy) to it. But I found it extremely greasy so wouldn't order it again. We also tried the double chile burger. So good! The chiles were well done and had a spicy smokey taste. The burger itself was hearty and tastey. Definitely enjoyed the vintage vibe of the place as well. Would try more items if we come across another one. read more

I came here to this location for the first time roughly a month ago to re-try Whataburger for the first time in a while and compare it to In N Out. I think both burgers are great in their own ways as Whataburger has mustard included while being grilled which can be great and better sometimes but In N Out has that consistency down. All and all I think the burgers are overpriced here but the taste makes it worth it. Wish there was one location in San Diego where I'm from even though its a Texas chain. read more

I came here at about 1230, which was the peak of the lunch rush. The place was absolutely packed. Drive thru line wrapping around the building, 4 or 5 people in line all the time at the counter. The kicker was they had one woman taking front counter orders, and sad yo day she was def not fast. Then it took about 20 minutes to get the food I ordered out after that.
