All of the drinks were wrong because the manager wasn't paying attention and because they gave it to us and then told us what they were we ended up with six drinks instead of three, only one of which was correct. After being told we were wrong multiple times we finally gave up and accepted what they gave us because we didn't want a third round of drinks that were incorrect. read more

While burger is in the name, they offer chicken and fish on their menu which compliment their special sauce. This was my first visit to a Whataburger so I asked the girl behind the register what she recommended and she suggested the patty melt. I have wonderful memories of Whataburger -- the flavorful burgers, the decadent shakes, the way-salty fries, the super-friendly staff... I've been here during panic-inducingly short lunch periods during high school. I've been here with a bunch of friends on the way to a concert or party. I've stopped by just for a shake. I've come with my colleagues in the middle of a bad day at work. And -- my favorite memory -- I've celebrated here with my sister and the rest of her wedding party and several friends after the wedding reception...at 3 in the morning. (Yes, we still had our fancy wedding clothes on! The up-do, however, was long gone by then.) I love the Jr. Whopper with double meat. The fries are only good fresh, but they are they way I like them -- not too crispy and dry, with a little give and tenderness without being limp or oily. And lotsa lotsa flavor. And over the many, many, many years, the service has had many faces but has remained consistently cheery and of good, helpful humor. I am not just dissatisfied, i am disappointed. I drove up to the drive thru, waiting for 45 minutes, just to be told "deez nuts" over the intercom. After thinking they were funny, they proceeded to take my order. When i received my food, they handed it to me with no packaging in their bare hands. THEN, they gave me a smelly cat. My only problem with this restaurant is that it is not physically closer to my house! As a Texan I took it for granted growing up that a Whataburger was always available. This is a very old location. Call it a classic! From the time I walked in the door I could tell this location was incredibly clean! All workers were busy and not standing around talking they were upbeat and vey positive. I cannot believe that I am reviewing a Whataburger but I am just so impressed by this location. Now my food- the honey butter chicken biscuit came highly recommended. Being hungry, I ordered the meal which came with potato sticks and a drink. The drink area was spotless and the tea fresh. There were no spills anywhere. My order was brought out to me by a friendly person that offered me my choice of condiments. This did not feel like a fast food joint! Just remember - this is Whataburger but just because of the employees and management, not to mention that chicken biscuit, it is 5 stars!! I never give 5 stars to chains. read more

Whataburger wasn't what it used to be, so I've been told by older folks. Whataburger actually had burgers that were huge! Now they've sold out big-time and sort of just lined up with the other average burger joints covering the USA. This place was average, like the other reviewers state, it's pretty average. Nothing spectacular, they are open late, most Whataburgers are open late. Some don't close at all! Over-all there's nothing unique about the food at this Whataburger, the service was speedy at this location, I had no troubles. My office is down the street. A real, old-style fast food place. Burgers are very good; onion rings good to very good; same for the fries. What really sets this off as different is the service. Great food, milkshakes, great prices. I've literally never been disappointed by Whataburger. This Whataburger is notable in town, though. The service here is always the best of the three in town, and they're the only one to offer spicy ketchup--something they adopted pretty recently. They do lack in swiftness in the drive-thru, though. It's not uncommon to have waits of 5 minutes, even more depending on how many people are in line. Haste makes waste, I suppose, but it's very inconvenient. read more
