Her name is Tootie and it's people like her that truly improve your day and experience of life. Stopped in while on the road and grabbed a couple of chicken biscuits, hash browns and coffee. The coffee was absolutely horrible and the hash browns were overcooked (dark brown) in old oil. Thankfully, the chicken biscuits were decent. As a huge, multi-state fan of Whataburger I have to admit that I was sorely disappointed with their preparation of our order. Stopped by this morning for an early lunch. Two people in line, line moved very slowly. Requested no salt fries and no pickles on my burger. That took time to input the order. The staff was confused as to how to process an order using the smart phone app. I watched others receive their order and eat while I waited and waited. Fries were salt free. Portion size small. Double drive through and ASA parking. Coke fountain products. Drive through did move to some degree. Food arrived 25 minutes later. Tray was dropped hard on the table and the person left. Never offered any catsup or other condiments. No reason to return. I thought it would be a great lunch. I should have read the previous reviews. read more

03/06/25 - made an online order and checked in around 6:50pm. Watched about 10 or more people come in, get their food, and leave for about 50 minutes. When the lady at the front wasn't taking orders, she just stood there knowing I was still waiting but never bothered to check and see if my food was ready. She did walk up right next to me though to re-adjust a couple chairs that were fine the way they were and then went back to standing behind the counter. Even who I assume was the leading member/manager (blue shirt) checked in on me before he was about to leave. I told him, "I'm still waiting". I guess he was ready to get out of there because he gave me a thumbs up and walked out the restaurant. That was after 30 minutes of waiting. At this point I just wanted to see how long this would take. Finally someone in the back who had been bringing food out to tables noticed and asked me if I was still waiting. Came here today after a Costco run and like well after buying the store I am tired and don't want to cook any of what I just bought and this is on the way home why not swing by the drive-thru. It was pretty crowded but I swung into the right lane and it had a few cars in front of me. Odd as the car in front of my just drove on but I stopped and was looking at the sign to order and the voicebox said something. I tried to order and they like "shhsjsj". I am like what. I did not have a pleasant experience at this location. I am visiting from out of state and downloaded the app just before I decided to eat here. I placed my order as I wanted, but the app didn't save my choices. I came back after noticing the error, and they refused to correct it. I was told that I had to reorder in the app and request a refund. The error was cheese. I waited 1hr for 2 burgers! The only reason I didn't get out of the line was because there were cones everywhere and I had already submitted & paid my order through the mobile app. Within that hour you can see countless employees sitting & chatting. I'm not saying they shouldn't take a break, but management should take better care of how many people are taking their break at the same time. By the time I got to the window 3 African American women had great service but looked like they were the only ones working in that building! This was at 2am, the line was extremely long and there shouldn't have been so many employees just sitting and chatting while the women took the overload. Honestly, this was the first and last time I try Whataburger in Montgomery, I rather drive all the way to Clanton or Alabaster because I never had an issue there. I've only been to this location 3 times. The first time I went, I had to leave because the drive thru line hadn't moved the entire time I was there, at least 15 minutes. The second time wasn't awful, still not very fast though. I just got back from my most recent visit there and it took over 20 minutes to receive my order, a salad and a drink. Almost didn't get my drink, no straw, no fork, and I was given the wrong kind of dressing. I was originally informed they didn't have the dressing I wanted, so I asked for ranch as a substitute and got jalapeño ranch instead.
