i've been here several times and it's always a 30 minute wait for food, in drive through. the food is usually cold as well so there's no excuse for the wait. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but the inconsideration for customers time cannot be ignored. read more

This is by far the slowest fast-food restaurant on the planet. If the Olympics had an event for slowest fast-food restaurant, everybody else would be trying for the Silver medal. They would retire the gold medal at this restaurant. The employees stand around talking and doing nothing. I have lost count at the number of times I have just drove off in frustration at this place. Sometimes you can't even get your order taken at the driveup speaker. I love Whataburger food. But, refuse to waste my time at this restaurant any longer. What's the point if you can't get the food you order? They need drastic changes at this restaurant. If not, I don't see how they can remain in business. This is the worst whataburger ever. Stopped by ordered food and literally waited for 40min only to realize that they had completely skipped our order and kept giving everybody else who had made it there after us their order. It was busy so my husband and I waited and tried to be as patient as we possibly could. The lady who took our order kept telling us "it's coming right out" 30min later nothing. Called the manager over and she gave us a full refund however I will never come back to this whataburger and I opened a yelp account just to leave a review on here. So I'm in line, I get up to the counter and the young lady Maranda to take my order. No hi welcome, how can I help you, nothing she just stares at me with a I hate my job look. Then no thank you or anything. Didn't even give me a cup to get my drink while I waited for my meal. I understand maybe she was tired, having a bad day or something. But come on. Ordered our food via Postmates and our entire order was incorrect. We went to whataburger to have everything fixed and the team leader/manager( unsure of the title, brown shirt) was a bit abrasive, but our whole order was made over, still with errors but better than the original attempt. All sodas were flat, one of the grill cooks was playing with his hat/hair with gloves on and continued to prepare food without changing gloves. This was the worst experience I've had at a whataburger and I will not be returning to this location. read more

Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes for the food but it's always cooked fresh, they don't just have the meat already cooked and waiting on you to buy it. The All Time Favorites menu is what I usually order from, I'm a big fan of the Patty Melt, with grilled Jalapenos added. It's delicious. They bring the food out to you if you eat inside and will offer to refill your drink for you during your meal. I've had good experiences. It's always clean and the people are as friendly as can be. They're also open 24 hrs which is awesome. read more

This is the slowest fast food restaurant in Mobile. I read the reviews and thought, "it can't be that bad," then it was. I waited 20 mins for a breakfast sandwich and drink. They need a change in management. Staff was nice and apologetic. They know how slow the service is but can't seem to fix it. read more

Burgers are ok but breakfast not so much. They could take some lessons from Hardee's on making biscuits.

If this place were any slower, they'd be backing up. I don't know what's going on but they don't seem to know either so we're even.

Slowest Whataburger I've ever been to . Waited in drive thru for 20 minutes on 5/12 at 11:30 am . Only one window open . Then on 5/15 waited in drive thru for 30 minutes at 12 noon , only one window open again . I assume they don't use their lane B anymore . Horrible place. I love whataburger but this location is doing something wrong. Fast food is called fast food for a reason. I was stopping by to get a quick bite to eat and waited about 15 minutes with nothing. My friend was in a hurry and came inside to see what was taking so long. He asked how long was left on the food mainly to see if they even remembered it. Employee responded rudely saying it was coming but took a while because of drive thru line. Got my food and it was cold. Do not come here if you are in a hurry because half of the staff do not know what they are doing. I will not be coming back to this location and will tell anyone that I know to avoid this one at all costs. read more

Well that was an experience. Food with a show. Had lunch around 12:30pm. Ordered four meals, one of them was entered incorrectly and the staff seemed to be annoyed rather than apologetic about the mistake. When I asked for condiments the person who appeared to be the manager smarted off that he already asked if we wanted condiments while we tried to explain that our order was wrong. Unnecessary and unhelpful. I watched everyone in the restaurant and in the drive thru wait 15 plus minutes for their food without explanation. There was not sweet tea put out or any napkins. The fries were cold. Luckily the burgers were fresh and tasty. However, not worth the full experience. I will continue to go to whataburger but not this location. read more

I don't expect much from fast food joints, but this place sucks. I wanted to grab a quick bite close to home, and I've had decent experiences at other locations, so since this was the nearest place, I stopped in at around 1:30 PM on a Sunday. Considering there was only one person ahead of me, my wait was entirely too long (15 minutes). They charged $10 for a double cheeseburger, lg fries, and a lg soda. When I got home, I realized that they only gave me a single burger, and the food was all cold (even after I waited long enough for them to have made it fresh). Even my drink tasted off, as if the soda syrup was running out in their drink machine. It's hard to feel let down by a fast food place, but this was disappointing. read more

How hard is it to cook crispy bacon? Every single time I go there (not a few times, but more times than I can count) the bacon is floppy and I have to microwave it myself to get it crispy, which in turn tears apart the taquito and it's sort of counterproductive in the sense that it's a fast meal already prepared for you. I used to work at the one on Cottage Hill and they have the best taquitos without making them myself. But isn't that what I'm sort of doing anyway when I have to take it apart and cook stuff? Their biscuits and gravy are awesome, however they do tend to use old biscuits instead of fresh ones. I've only experienced that problem a few times but the bacon problem is every single time. I don't know if it's their oven or if it's them being lazy or impatient or all of the above, but they need to get it together or I'm going to make the stuff myself and not even buy it from them. All in all, it's a great fast food choice when they actually put in the effort. Thanks to whomever read my rambling. read more

I have been to this location many times and usually don't have a problem. Today I went and had to wait in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes. Once I got home my order was wrong. I decided to eat it anyway because I was hungry. I took a bite of the sandwich and right into a long black hair. I almost got sick. This place has definitely lost my business and I will encourage others not to go there. Cleanliness should be the most important thing in restaurants and it clearly wasn't at this Whataburger. read more
