This is a fast food restaurant. We stopped here from out of town. The service was friendly at the order counter. Jay was awesome and served us our food and then brought out sauces. The restaurant was clean and safe. The burger itself was okay! It did the job of a burger. I wouldn't say it was the best ever but it got the job done. read more

Had a salad but had to take out meat and cheese add tomatoes. Many people and loud . Cold so bringing a jacket is smart choice. Parking lot available. Nice service. Right order. Don't know about the bathroom but they do give you a code if needed to be used. Not vegan friendly enough for food choices . read more

The food has gone down hill. Burgers were cold and dry. Buns were stale. Fries were over cooked and cold. Onion rings were way over cooked and burnt. Chocolate shake had almost no Chocolate in it. The people that worked there seemed like they like they didn't care if you ate there or not. We won't be back. read more

Took so long they gave us a cookie. All that time spent and they still got the order wrong . Usually I would just deal with it and eat it, except I'm vegetarian and they put meat in my food. Didn't realized until after I took a bite so that was really great thanks!!!! read more

I would not recommend the Whataburger in Kyle. I ordered 3 burgers and 2 of the 3 had both buns burnt. I could TASTE burn. Why would any restaurant serve that to it's customers ?? read more

I eat at a lot of Whataburgers all over the state but this one never fails to disappoint. The bummer is it is the closest to where I live. On this visit, I found an employees Whataburger hat in the parking lot so I carried it in. When I told the cashier and tried to hand it to him he looked at me like I was crazy, another employee took it from me with no thank you or anything other than a weird look. When my food came out, instead or bringing it to my table, I guess the number they gave me was different so they just called my name. It was packed to go but I stayed done in when I placed my order. So I grabbed the tray when an employee said that is a dirty tray? Ok not a fatal mistake but with the flies buzzing all over inside the dining room and the dirty floors and tables this particular Whataburger seems to be poorly managed. I do recommend Whataburgers all over but can not recommend this one. read more

It's Whataburger... It's amazing. It's beautiful. Sure, there's a line, but for good reason! Service is as quick as can be, depending on when you come here. But honestly, they're consistent!! 2 Handed Size burgers! You could go elsewhere with a shorter drive thru line, but you're getting LESS for the same price, and you'll be disappointed. Wait in line. You'll be thankful you did. Every time! Promise. Its the one promise that is truly accurate. read more

Service was fast and friendly. Food was the best I've had from a Whataburger in a long time. Super fresh! Great work.

This whataburger has quickly gone downhill. Every time I go here the service is slower than molasses. Last time I went my order was horrible wrong and due to the fear of waiting another hour my family and I ate the food anyway. The dining room is cool, but often dirty and unkept. I am a Kyle local and will no longer be going to this restaurant any longer. Drive to Buda definitely worth the effort.... read more

Literally the worst I have ever had. I have been in the food industry for 10 plus years and never had to throw up food before. Sending out expired meat? Yes I would know if it expired and so would anyone else. read more

Something want right with the taste of the BOB (Breakfast on a Bun) today. The sausage tasted old. It was cooked, but not fresh. The fried egg was spongy and had egg shell in it. If I can cook better than the food I receive, I'm staying home to cook or goin somewhere else. The hash browns were meh and the cinnamon roll was not as fresh. I'm giving this place a break for a while. read more

I had not had Whataburger in a while. I was a bit disappointed when my burger was cold and my fries were not fresh. You say you don't make the burger until you order it but I had a jalapeño cheddar burger that tasted like the meat and cheese had been sitting around for a while. I started eating the fries on the way home. They were stale and not warm. Please don't make me be an In and Out fan. read more

Order was perfect and food was fresh and delicious. They took excellent care of us even though I made an error with the order. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Restaurant is very clean. Thank you very much. read more

The food has never been the issue here (for me), usually it is the wait times. You can't necessarily blame the employees for this system. It's always upper management and executives that are too ambitious before doing basic research on incorporating online ordering. Most places have an alert notification system that is given out when your order is actually completed and ready for pick up. Whataburger estimates when the food will be ready, but this makes you wait and it varies significantly from a few minutes to 20+. I don't mind being given an estimate, but it is frustrating when you are alerted that your order is ready when it is not. It would require some technical upgrades, but it would save time and address some of the negative reviews. read more

annoying as hec i told the lady twice i wanted a honey bbq chicken strip sandwich , received it and i went home which i should have checked the order but what was so annoying when i got home i checked the bag and i got a biscuit sandwich with gravy Like BROOOOOOO i was so annoyed that i threw it away :/ worst business ever read more

Today I ordered a number 8 with extra mustard. I love mustard a little more than the average person but whoever topped my burger must have been having a bad day. When I say the burger was SOAKED with mustard I mean both breads were soggy all the way through and the double paper wrapping was wet. It was inedible. On a higher note my extra crispy onion rings were perfect. Overall I'm pissed go have wasted money on an entree that was absolutely disgusting. read more

Food was a reasonable price and was quick to get to my table. Patty melt with french fries and a soda.

I do believe this whataburger takes the trophy for slowest whataburger on the planet which is quite the feat. Two cars ahead of me before I could order, 25 minutes to get a single chicken sandwich. Congratulations on your award read more

I enjoy Whataburger, but this one is the one I only go to in desperation. And each time I go through this location I regret it and swear not to return. Yet return I do, so something must be right. Whatever you do, do NOT go through the drive through after 8:00pm. I don't know what happens but whenever I stop by on my way home from an airport or whatever, it is an absolute trainwreck. Most Whataburgers are not this backed up across both lanes for as long as they do on a popular lunch day. Hopefully, I'll remember to read my own review next time I'm driving home late and NOT come here. I fear I will return again anyway. I'm just that kind of guy... read more

If you go, park and order inside. Great service and accurate orders. If you MUST use the drive thu, use the left lane. We got stuck right, and 3 cars that pulled in after us got ther food and left before we found out our order was wrong (after correcting the guy who entered it twice). Left without paying and went elsewhere. read more

service is unbelievably slow. I made an online order at 10pm. it said my order would be ready at 10:12, I arrived at 10:10, I waited in the line for over an hour and still didn't have my food at 11:15 and still had 3 cars in front of me. I went home without my food even though I had already paid for my order because I was no longer hungry. so much for fast food, I could literally go to any other sit down restaurant and have been served, eaten and paid my bill in that amount of time. read more

Very seldom do we get what we ask. We love whataburger but we don't care for our orders constantly being messed up. Went inside ordered had to have it corrected thought I got everything we requested and nope we still got the wrong order. While yes you can check and correct their mistakes but why should I go back and micromanage my own order? Mistakes once in a while fine. But not every time I go in. And if I didn't receive what I get either I have to go back and spend gas for the item or they just keep the money. Frustrating situation and unfortunately this is the ONLY whataburger in this area read more

The food good and I slipped in the bathroom for a free cookie and the gravy the best sauce there. and the service cool fr. and good ambiance. read more

I'm really disappointed with my service from this location today. I did not receive all of the items from my order and the ones I did receive weren't worth paying $20+. When I mentioned a burger patty looked like it had a bite taken out of it, the employee at the window was reluctant to help me. When I called the store to say I was missing my son's grilled cheese meal, Eric only told me to write his name on my receipt and the next time I was in I could get a replacement. Unfortunately for both of us, I will not be returning to this establishment. She really tried to laugh at me and say "That's not a bite, ma'am". OK, well then don't try to give me 2/3 of a burger patty and expect me to pay full price. Use it for a Whataburger Jr, instead. read more

Ordered a 3 piece meal, breakfast on a bun, biscuits and gravy, and a spiced honey chicken sandwich along with two drinks. Was given my drinks. Then the lady asks if I'm the order with the 3 piece. Of course I am and I am the person you just gave the correct drink order to. I am handed the bag, it's heavy with multiple items so I think I'm good. Should of checked the bag. I received one 3 piece chicken meal. What a joke. Get the order right. read more

Needed food super early in the morning (like before 6 AM) on the way to San Antonio. And when you're one of those weird people who don't like eggs, breakfast options become somewhat limited. Fortunately, as a Texan, Whataburger is our birthright and they'll fix you a burger or chicken 24 hours a day. I ordered a double Whataburger Junior adding cheese and bacon. That, along with a small order of fries and an unsweet tea were the perfect quick breakfast. The burger was prepared quickly and accurately. And the food was definitely good. The staff was more than friendly and they were quick to find the lemon packets for the tea. (By the way, Whataburger, why do some locations have these at the beverage area and others don't?) read more

I've spent entirely too much money at this location despite their consistent failure to fulfill one of my orders - I'm done. Every time I visit the drive through or order online and pickup, I'm missing something, and going inside often involves some unexplained wait regardless of the prior waiting you've done. The times I spoke to the various managers we've seen over the years, they were either rude, uninformed, overwhelmed, or pointed fingers... no accountability. This last order tonight was the final straw.. missing items, again. It's over. I will certainly never have this problem again as the cycle has ended. Good riddance. read more

We sat at the drive through order screen for over 20 minutes with a line of cars behind us. We had to call the store and ask for someone to please take our order. The service at the Kyle Whataburger today is the best it's ever been. Giant, constant line of cars and super short wait time. Way to go!! My wife and I had Pico de Gallo burgers. These are wonderful. Good job everyone. read more

Given the time of night they did a decent job. Could it have been a faster transaction? Definitely. It's fast food so I don't expect perfection every time. The kitchen dropped the ball and forgot part of my order. Gave some lame excuse for the delay but like I said they did a decent job. There was an older lady running the register who was wonderful. She apologized for the delay and said she understood my frustration. She was pleasant enough to make the delay tolerable. Interesting how a friendly smile can change the temperament of a situation. Btw the food was delicious. Spicy bacon burger/ spicy chicken sandwich and fries. I do love my Whataburger! read more

Messed up order . I went to Whataburger craving a cheeseburger. I ordered my pretty simple order, one PLAIN cheeseburger and fries. They do have fast service but that does not make up for my wrong order. As I sat down at home and took out my food I took a bit into my cheeseburger to taste something i did not ask for. I opened my burger to find mustard! I was very clear with my order. The fries are good. read more
