Didn't include my gravy. And me busted ketchup packets. Check your order before sending out.

Food is only thing available at midnight. Service and ambiance, it's whataburgers. Its better than Dennys

This review is for the Whataburger at 12401 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077 on Sunday at 9:50am 12/3/23. 3 people working in the kitchen. Those 3 people seemed like good hard-working folks. The manager sat on his butt the whole time. Dirty tables, no coffee, no napkins and the manager could not be bothered to help his staff. Terrible leadership. I felt bad for the 3 on staff who were actually working. Breakfast came out 20 minutes after ordering. A few other customers cancelled their orders and walked out. Portions had shrunk in half since the last time I ate at a Whataburger over a year ago. The future for whataburger looks dim, unless they make some serious changes. read more

The downfall of Whataburger has been quite noticeable and apparent. Before they were sold to a BDT Capital Partners, LLC, the company really held true to their customer service and quality of food. That has slipped big time. Each time I go to one of their restaurants something is typically wrong or missing. This location is not an exception to that trend. Last Sunday I did a curb side order. I was told it would be ready within 4-6 minutes. I arrive and waited about 15 minutes past the quoted completion time. I get it that things can become busy, but the inside line and drive thru were running very well while the curbside order sat and waited. I was the only person picking up curb side. The food finally came out and the lady simply handed me the bag and walked back in. I got to my destination and noticed that the hash browns for my combo was missing. I put in a complaint to the restaurant and ignored. It has been a week now. No response. This is about the 3rd or 4th time this has happened with Whataburger with a missing item. Just easier to spend my time and money else where. They are spending all of their effort expanding across the US but have lost their foundation of quality food and customer service. If you can't maintain that, what is the use of expanding to just spread those new sub par values? Big mistake. Miss this location. I was in ATL this week for work and they opened up a brand new Whataburger and I intentionally skipped it for this exact reason. I refuse to be disappointed again. If you find a location that does great service, amazing food and has awesome quality control, let me know. I would love to give it a try. The old Whataburger is truly missed. read more

We all know what to expect from a Whataburger. Having moved out of state, this was a must stop. Got my usual, a number 2 with onion rings and a large sweet tea. It delivered! Will always love Whataburger and will continue to make it a must stop on every trip back to Texas! read more

Whataburger - a hamburger and onion rings - Burgers Near Me - Houston, Texas

The double meat burger was delivered to my table cold with both patties of meat burnt. They left the mustard off as requested but forgot to add mayonnaise. The bun was dry and crispy apparently went through the toaster more than once. The front store staff had a difficult time placing my order and making change. This used to be one of the best Whataburger's in Houston. Now it's trying to slide to the worst. We used to come here several times a week but the food and service has gotten so bad it's about once every 2weeks, after today I don't plan on coming back. Whataburger's quality has gone to hell ever since the Chicago group bought them. read more

The $9.99 Buffalo ranch was pure hell to eat.Tasted like a half gallon of vinegar with golf ball size lemon drops. Tried to scrap the stuff off the buns and rinse the chicken tenders in water but was too far gone. Tossed it in the garbage. Pure torture for $10.00!!!! . Scraped my tongue but still making my eyes squint. There two of us and the experience mutual. read more

Actually this was the fastest service I have ever received at a whataburger. Usually the wait is close to 20 min. In and out of the drive thru at 11pm under 10 min. No complaints and I ordered breakfast items. read more

The only thing open after the Hurricane in Houston, but still not so good. Certainly not as good as In-N-Out!

I love whataburger, their food is very good. But this place is something else. -FOOD BE COLD BE READY TO WAIT 45 to more than an hour for your food Be ready to wait. ! They are all rude, never seemed positive. Employees have a tight mine at all time. Just call their phone to ask a question and see how they reply and talk back NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.!!! This isn't the first time I come here and wait 45 to an hour and half for my food. ( week-end around 2am-4am) that's the shift I'm talking about because tbh I never ordered during the day. But their night shifts is TRASH . They should get people that actually like to work, or a good manager This place ruining whataburger's image smh read more

At this point, I'm pretty certain I've sold my soul to Whataburger. Literally every time I see their iconic logo, I literally debate with myself mentally on whether or not I should go for it. This not only shows that their marketing is working on me, but it also is a testament to how much I enjoy their food. Compared to other Whataburger locations, this Westchase spot isn't going to be among the best. There are some days where they're on top of it all: pipin' hot food, southern hospitality service with quick drive thru experiences. Other days they're slow, sometimes orders are wrong, and super sloppy handling of the food / subpar presentation (i.e. terribly wrapped items, spillage, etc.) But like any fast food chain, every spot will eventually level out. This location does its job and I get my breakfast burger. One thing I will point out is that this spot is significantly better late at night than they are in the daytime. I'm not sure how to explain it, but the service is beefed up post midnight. Maybe it's a Houston thing for post nightlife eats? read more

If you need to wander around, go to Wanderburger. This is not that. Way out in Westchase, close to my favourite Shipley's location, and this is Texas's favorite burger - but honestly it's not as good as In-N-Out, which is not that good - and it's a little better than Five Guys, but that's like saying it's better than licking a toilet bowl. Not my favourite location by any means anyway. read more

I've been ordering off of delivery apps like doordash and uber eats, they don't have the choice to add dipping sauces on the apps so I always call but the sauces they charge for which im willing to pay if they just add it to the app. Everytime I call and ask them, they are always so rude and stuck up about some damn sauce! who wants to eat a dry ass burger? read more

I like the convenience of a place that's open 24/7! I'm not a Whataburger junkie but I do like a honey chicken biscuit or a nice warm, gooey cinnamon roll in the early hours of the morning! Both breakfast items are indulgent and will put a smile on your face until the sun rises and takes over. Service is with a smile and food comes out fast and hot. I'll be back for sure! read more

Whataburger - Yum! - Burgers Near Me - Houston, Texas

When you're down in Texas you gotta try their fast food burger chain Whataburger. I have to say it was cheap and got the job done. I had this the first night when I landed. I was so tired and hangry and needed something quick. Luckily this was across from my hotel. Their portion is huge. Even the dipping sauces are 3 times bigger than your average McDonalds. My only thing is my food was not piping hot. They were either cold or lukewarm. read more

EXTREMELY SLOW SERVICE. HQ Whataburger, get your shit figured out. Completely understaffed. Got lines of 10 cars waiting for 20+ mins.

I downloaded the app so I have been getting a lot of free stuff, so I go to this location. hahaha. I have found them to be very nice and they work hard. One lady, took care of me as soon as she walked in. I thought I would tell them how much I appreciate it since people are so hard on them My food has been hot and good. I don't go out to eat much but I will definitely go back to this one if I want some fast food, read more

I went to this Whataburger July 17th of this year, and might I say, this has been some of the worst service I've ever received. I ordered 2 of the classic breakfast with no modifications, and it toke 15 minutes for me to receive my order. The wrong order. I waited 10 more minutes and they came out with my food. Again, still not what I ordered. I waited longer to hopefully receive my correct food, and I got one of my meals, with the other one being incorrect. During this experience, our server was outright disrespectful and rude while we were patient with her. The manager that we later spoke to wasn't much better. I ended up just asking for a refund and taking my business elsewhere. I think that this establishment would benefit from having a proper conversation about customer service and how to handle their own mistakes. I won't be visiting this location again, and in your best interest, I suggest you don't either! read more

It's delicious when you get the right order, which is never. My husband came home with a burger I can't eat because it has all the things I didn't want on it. The last screwup was at least edible Next time I am craving a burger I'll get it from somewhere else. read more

If it's late night and you're starved..... Try Waffle House first. If Waffle House is not available... Then Whataburger it is! Every third left you make in Texas you will find a Whataburger!!! I am originally from California. In California we have In-N-Out so Whataburger is non existent. Upon moving to Texas all anyone could talk about was Whataburger! "Chari, Have you been to Whataburger yet?" "Do you like burgers? You should try Whataburger! So naturally, after hearing it 200 times, I decided to give it a try. This was not by any means the worst burger I have ever had, I just don't understand all the hype. I was literally waiting for angels to sing and the heavens to open up. I've had homemade burgers that tasted soooo much better. This burger was ok at best. Sorry guys! Burger tried: bacon cheeseburger combo read more

Whatajoke! Whatamess!! Wait in the drive thru lane, order and get told to stay in line, or pull into the right lane and pull forward. Pay at the window if in the left lane, someone comes out and takes your payment if in the right lane. Then Whatawait while Whataemployees run food to various cars, not necessarily in order. Then Whatawait longer because your food was delivered, but the person in front of you hasn't received their food. So you are Whatastuck. Whatasurprise...the customer's order in the right is wrong or incomplete. Whatawait some more. Now the customer to the right gets out of his car, goes inside and returns with straws...but can't leave because the customer in front of him is still Whatawaiting his order. So we're all Whatastuck. Commenting to the Whataemployee that this system is inefficient garners a response of "I don't know what to say to that or tell you who to talk to". Whatawow!...That speaks volumes about Whatatraining and Whatacustomer service. And the food? Whatamediocre. read more

I go to this Whataburger location frequently and it's always good. Just last night I went with my boyfriend. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, which was nice. For our orders, I ordered a number 13, which is chicken tenders, fries, and toast, and your choice of sauce (I got gravy.) My boyfriend ordered a number 2, which is a double-patty burger, and he made sure to add cheese (of course it comes with fries and a drink.) At most places we always get unsweet tea; despite it being almost 10PM, the tea still tasted great. We dined in, so our food was brought to us. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. To top it off, the employees would check up on everyone to make sure everything was going well. Overall, this is a good Whataburger location. Also, if you frequent Whataburger a lot, make sure to download their rewards app; you get a reward for every 5 visits. read more

Is anyone monitoring the curbside orders?! Restaurant isn't even busy. Food was said to be ready at 7pm. It's 7:22pm. Takes 20+ minutes to get food & that's after having to come into the restaurant which defeats the purpose of CURBSIDE! read more

4 stars on the good Because it's fast food. But I am giving it only two stars because the management was rude and they got my order wrong. But only that they didn't give me my whole order. They gave my my food at the drive thru and I went home. That is when I found out a few things were missing. So I went back. The manger (I can only assume she was the manager because she was dressed differently. No one had name tags). I told her that I didn't get some of my food and told her what it was. She said. Where is the rest of your order? I said at home being eaten by my family. She said with attitude how do I know you are actually missing something. The guy who gave me my order actually came over and said he didn't forget to give me food. He apologized and said he would go get it. She just looked away and walked away. She went to give a guy is good. He had to tell her it was missing some of his food as well. He was mad at her too. The management is horrible and rude. read more

Manager was horrible and rude . I had a online order that they gave to someone else and I never received my food , I called to find it out what hope. And she kept calling me a sir when I told her twice that I was a women she was so rude and told me that there was nothing they could do . Not even give my order to the correct diver that was at the store waiting didn't get her name but she was Hispanic for sure because we spoke in Spanish to each other at one moment. She really needs to change her attitude read more

Pretty good people working in that location. They are all extremely polite. My favorite burger there is the avocado one. I recommend to add an extra patty is game changing. Give a try and see for yourself! read more

I would not eat here. Some lady had her truck stolen gear recently and they would not let her see the video.

Don't do curbside order here. I placed an order for a medium vanilla shake. By 10 minutes, I understood that's sometimes it's busy. By the 20 minute mark, the car that pulled in a few minutes after me got their order. By that time, I was understandably angry and frustrated. I went inside and just showed my order to the cashier and she gave me my shake within a minute. What's the point of mobile curbside?? This is why I don't buy from from Whataburger anymore. read more

Whataburger arguably serves the best fast food burgers out there. Yes, that means better than in n out. I've been to this location a few times and it had been fine before. However, the last time I came here, I was completely underwhelmed by the quality of the burger they served me. I always get #5 - Bacon Cheeseburger and normally, I would be happy after I've finished my meal. However, this last time, my bacon cheeseburger was so sad. Yes; sad! The patty seemed so thin and not flavorful. The bacon strips were soggy and the cheese was not melted. It seemed like they just took a slice of cheese and just slapped it onto the patty and put a bun on it. Just sad. The service has always been okay and it's great that the dining room is always open so you can come here and dine in after a late night out. I did have to drive out of my way to come to this particular location because I was with a few friends who live closer to this location. However, I don't think I'm going to come here too much with this kind of burger. I expected better. read more

Coronavirus bullshit is out of hand at these restaurants. Their "policies" are just ridiculous... Like rationing salt and pepper packets. Like the fact that they want to touch everything before you do with their gloved hand that has already touched the register and the money and the thermometer that measures everybody's temperature and whatever else it has touched. And then you go and stick your grubby shitty fingers on the lid for my soft drink and stick it in my cup. Fuck that bullshit. Whataburger is the biggest culprit. I mean, WTF are they thinking?? When you actually call them on their bullshit, they stare at you like a deer in the headlights because they don't actually think for themselves, they just do as they are told. read more

I was really impressed with the service this afternoon. It was quite busy during lunch rush today. Both drive through lane was at least 6 cars deep. The food did take nearly 40 minutes. The difference was that a staff member did come out to apologize for the longer than usual wait. Being in the restaurant industry for quite some time, I find that very helpful to stop by to say something about the timing issue. My only concern was the hatch chili burger was not as spicy as the one from the one on Hwy 6 that I ordered the other day. But that just something minor. Thanks for working on a holiday. read more

Whataburger is a staple! This particular location is most convenient for me to frequent. Service is pretty good. The only problem I have is during late nights going through the drive-thru. It seems to take an extra long time late at night. I have a few items from the menu that are on my rotation. Patty melt, Monterey Melt, Chophouse Cheddar (if in season), Honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich, double Whataburger with cheese and bacon. I never get a bad meal from Whataburger. The fries are great: crispy and nicely salted. Dip them in their spicy ketchup and you're good to go. For breakfast, I'll either get the taquito with bacon or the honey chicken biscuit. The honey chicken biscuit is to die for. Whataburger is always a treat. I rarely come here for lunch because I'm usually at work and usually in a different part of town. When I do have the luxury to visit my Whataburger location I choose to dine in. I've always had a pleasant time with food and service. The food comes out in a timely manner and the workers are courteous. read more
