TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. FOUR...FOUR... FOUR... FOUR different times I have came in to try the banana pie shake and all FOUR times the shake machine has "been down for cleaning." Mind you I've got a 4 different times of the day. I've gotten to the menu and ordered my shake. Told me to pull up to the window. Waited in line about 18 minutes just for them to tell me the shake machine was down. Why didn't they tell me this when I ordered and before I had to wait 18 minutes. This happened twice. Both after 12am. Third time around breakfast I ordered the shake through the app. Again at the window they saw my online ordered and told me to pull up. After 12 minutes of waiting they tell me the shake machine is down for cleaning again. Why couldn't they tell me this at the menu? To make my day better they told me they can't refund me at all that I have to call customer service to get a refund. The FOURTH time I try and order this shake I call the store ahead of time and let them know how many times this has happened and asked them if their shake machine is up. They say yes and I said I'm on my way I'll see ya in 7 minutes. I order the shake with the app. It's right after lunch and I get to the menu and they tell me they got my order and to pull up. This time I waited about 17 minutes. I get to the the window and they tell me "the shake machine is down." I LITERALLY JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH YALL AND YALL ASSURED ME THE MACHINE WAS RUNNING FINE AND MY SHAKE WOULD BE READY. WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE THE DECENCY TO TELL ME THIS AT THE WINDOW SO I DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE JUST TO BE TOLD NO SHAKE AGAIN EVEN THOUGH THEY TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE IT WAS WORKING AND THEY HAD MY ORDER READY? THEN THEY AGAIN CAN'T REFUND ME BECAUSE I HAVE TO CALL THE HOTLINE BUT THEY SAID I CAN WAIT ABOUT 18 MINUTES AND IT'LL BE READY AND I CAN HAVE A SODA WHILE I WAIT. How hard can it be to make a milk shake? Is it so hard they have to pretend the machine is down every single day to keep from having to make one? I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad that I immediately applied for a job online just so I can learn how to make a shake and clean the she shake machine as best and as efficiently as possible so I could single handedly personally train every single employee the correct and proper way to make a milkshake and how to clean the machine after so it is always ready to go so we can please our customers who love shakes. That's how bad I wanted that shake. I was going to quit my career and start at a Whataburger just for the shake. I had to drive roughly 30 minutes round trip including traffic and wait time at another location just to actually get the shake I wanted. How does this happen every single time at this specific location? Is this a special location where they hire special people to work at to help them build people skills and life skills? I will never understand this ever in my life. read more

I love the location, and the family members they have in there. The OP is the best to have taken over this store.

I love this location it's always friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing never can go wrong here. The employees are amazing as well as the managers they make sure if some is wrong it's fixed right away. read more

Friendly service. Food was hot and didn't wait long for it either. Will be returning in the future for sure!

Order is always wrong and if you ask for a chocolate shake it's going to be vanilla because they never mix enough chocolate.

I had a wonderful experience In the drive through during the evening shift. the employees were very polite and respectful although it was a little slow they made it better wither the service. please give Gage and wade a raise. best drive through employees ever! read more

Having gone to this Whataburger for years, it is interesting to see how the caliber of people working a certain shift or maybe it's their motivation......how this can affect the quality of service. Same could be said of anywhere else really too. The food is almost always good here. Hard to top a good jalapeño bacon, egg and cheese biscuit! It is usually a good stop. read more

Probably my third review for them I keep giving them chances but currently in the line at 1am and placed a mobile that was supposed to be ready at 12:56 currently 1:12 and just moved up what is this several cars parked in the parking lot as well super slow service tonight read more

Service used to be good. Placed an order on the app- paid for it and went to pick it up. They had no "information " on the order and couldn't pull it up. I had a receipt and they took my money. Also I arrived at change over (breakfast- Lunch) to pick up the order so naturally they wouldn't fill it. Told me to contact customer service for my refund who basically sent me an email telling me sorry we have your money and were not giving it back. Fine you no longer have my business. read more

While I like the menu and the food is always good I have to leave it with 3 stars. They are soooo slow in Hallsville. The looks to be plenty of help they just can't get the orders put together very fast. Ordered in app, came at the latest time it said it'd be ready and then waited 20 minutes longer. It was only after I had waited 15 minutes and again spoke to staff that they got it to me in the next 5 minutes. She said she would put it together herself. Thanks to her it only took a total of 35 minutes from when I ordered to when I got it. Not at a rush hour time either. read more

Horrible horrible service waited way too long in the drivethru!!!! Order wrong no urgency to fix the mistake.

Awful service, employees have no care to get your order to you in any form of timely manner waited 30 minutes for them to even take our payment... had us wait in the outside lane where they took 5 cars in the right each about 4-5 minutes before even looking over to us. This location needs new employees or a better manager read more

I grew up with this whataburger and have never had problems but they are clearly doing something wrong I've gotten food poisoning the past 2 times I've came and now I haven't been able to hold food or water for the past three days... NEVER COMING BACK read more

Not a great experience. Took 10 minutes to get a #2 off the menu. I had to repeat the order twice, no pickles extra onions. The server came out asking me and two other vehicles if the bag in her hand was our order, which it was none of ours. When I got home with my order, the burger was loaded with pickles. Probably will not go back. Server was nice, and food was as expected, but didn't get what I ordered. read more

Came to this whataburger and when we ordered we went to get our drinks and they all tasted bad and as well as the tea so the cashier went to get a glass of tea from the to go and said that that tea was fresher. But it tastes the exact same and the French fries we're old and stell. And the cashier had a bad attitude when we told them about our complaints. Worst whataburger experience ever. And I don't recommend eating there as I will not be returning this the one in Hallsville. read more

Don't normally do bad reviews but I intend to blast social media until corporate whataburger does something about the hallsville location they can never get your order right always leave something out from fries and onion rings to a entire combo. Check your order before you drive away if you don't someone might be looking in the fridge for something to eat or driving back to get what was left out. After the first few times I was like ok well maybe it's a off night but now it's getting ridiculous. Someone literally needs to verify what's in the bag with the receipt. I mean I have already waited 20+ mins take a min or 2 and make sure everything I am paying for is in the bag. Make sure that when I get home to hungry teenage Kids that if I order 3 Meals that I have 3 meals in the bag you hand me after working all day and running youngest to the barn last thing I want to do is once I'm back in Longview with food is either drive 15 mins back to hallsville to get what ever was left off. read more

This is a nice CLEAN burger joint. The food is of Whataburger quality. Friendly staff and they support the community's schools. They serve Breakfast from 11 pm until 11 am. :-) read more

Always consistently good food. I love Whataburger anyways, so I already enjoy the food, but you can have places where it doesn't taste so well with any chain restaurant. I have never had that problem at this Whataburger. The food is not phenomenal compared to a mom and pop joint, but that's obviously not in the same category. In the world of fast food burger places this ranks at the top. read more

I ordered a chicken salad with no cheese. Got the salad and it had cheese on it, took the said back in and they preceded to argue with me saying it doesn't have cheese on the salad. They then realize that it did have cheese and supposedly took that salad and fixed a new one. I got home, and opened my salad and there was cheese under neath the chicken. I live an hour and half away,so I didn't go back, and won't be back to that location. read more

The worst Whataburger anywhere. Just can NOT get an order right! The last three times I've been there they have gotten my order wrong...not just a little wrong but TOTALLY wrong!! And the bun on my burger was so stale it was almost like eating burnt toast I won't be back read more

I am giving them a two only because they have the Bible on the counter and family friendly atmosphere when you walk in. Drive thru takes forever to get something even on slow nights with simple orders, an example of this is a sweet tea and a milkshake should take about one to two minutes not eight or nine minutes. I sat there like fifteen minutes to get a combo after midnight and it wasn't even a Friday night. Although it is impossible to prove, I got the worst case of food poisoning from here and I have not returned to this place, nor do I plan on it. I ate a burger combo and was deathly sick with a high fever and vomiting within a couple hours after eating it. I went from great to horrible in only a couple hours. I was told by the Dr. at the hospital that it was a bad case of food poisoning not a bug. Considering I had just returned from a vacation with my family that night and we had all ate the same meals all week except Whataburger which I had alone. It was easy to figure out where I got food poisoning from because the rest of the family was fine! Which makes since because they did not eat whataburger that night and food poisoning is not contagious. read more

Always a great experience. Fresh food, correct orders and friendly staff in the drive thru.

Whataburger has never been good food & this one is true to form. Smells like burnt grease inside.

New restaurant in town. Glad to have a 24 hour place in town. Food is as expected. Have been through the drive thru 4 times. 3 of the 4 they have forgotten something on our order. Forgot all our fries one time. Forgot the gravy for two chicken strip meals another time. Just frustrating to get home, and realize you don't have all your food. read more

Great fresh food that's always worth the wait. Absolutely the best burgers in town! Friendly staff and fair prices. Also, their milkshakes are really tasty. read more
