She would not listen when trying to speak on the matter and she feels a week's notice is enough time to make other arrangements for our party that has been planned for weeks. Which is good as the food is fresh. The service was great here. The lady taking my order was very helpful and pleasant. The inside had 3 small tables to sit at, which isn't much. Our wait was around 20 minutes for 4 sandwiches. The only good one in my opinion was the turkey avocado sandwich. The bread was very fresh and tasty. The ham and jam was way too sweet. The Italian sandwich was just a miss. Very bready and I hated that it had what tasted like store bought Italian salad dressing. They have a bit more variety on the menu, but still mostly soups and sandwiches. Maybe a tad better than the average place, but nothing to write home about. (To her credit she apologized for making us wait) When taking our order, we had to repeat what we wanted - she appeared very distracted and aloof. Then we proceeded to wait almost 20 minutes for our food. There were NO customers in the restaurant and only a couple vehicles that entered the drive through AFTER we had gotten there. Crumbs on tables in the lobby/sitting area. Flickering lights in restaurant and my husband reported flickering lights in the men's room - not just shorting out but literally turning on and off... The food was fine... not the typical standard we're used to when choosing Schlotsky's for a quick meal. And since the service was subpar it affected enjoying the food.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. FOUR...FOUR... FOUR... FOUR different times I have came in to try the…read morebanana pie shake and all FOUR times the shake machine has "been down for cleaning." Mind you I've got a 4 different times of the day. I've gotten to the menu and ordered my shake. Told me to pull up to the window. Waited in line about 18 minutes just for them to tell me the shake machine was down. Why didn't they tell me this when I ordered and before I had to wait 18 minutes. This happened twice. Both after 12am. Third time around breakfast I ordered the shake through the app. Again at the window they saw my online ordered and told me to pull up. After 12 minutes of waiting they tell me the shake machine is down for cleaning again. Why couldn't they tell me this at the menu? To make my day better they told me they can't refund me at all that I have to call customer service to get a refund. The FOURTH time I try and order this shake I call the store ahead of time and let them know how many times this has happened and asked them if their shake machine is up. They say yes and I said I'm on my way I'll see ya in 7 minutes. I order the shake with the app. It's right after lunch and I get to the menu and they tell me they got my order and to pull up. This time I waited about 17 minutes. I get to the the window and they tell me "the shake machine is down." I LITERALLY JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH YALL AND YALL ASSURED ME THE MACHINE WAS RUNNING FINE AND MY SHAKE WOULD BE READY. WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE THE DECENCY TO TELL ME THIS AT THE WINDOW SO I DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE JUST TO BE TOLD NO SHAKE AGAIN EVEN THOUGH THEY TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE IT WAS WORKING AND THEY HAD MY ORDER READY? THEN THEY AGAIN CAN'T REFUND ME BECAUSE I HAVE TO CALL THE HOTLINE BUT THEY SAID I CAN WAIT ABOUT 18 MINUTES AND IT'LL BE READY AND I CAN HAVE A SODA WHILE I WAIT. How hard can it be to make a milk shake? Is it so hard they have to pretend the machine is down every single day to keep from having to make one? I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad that I immediately applied for a job online just so I can learn how to make a shake and clean the she shake machine as best and as efficiently as possible so I could single handedly personally train every single employee the correct and proper way to make a milkshake and how to clean the machine after so it is always ready to go so we can please our customers who love shakes. That's how bad I wanted that shake. I was going to quit my career and start at a Whataburger just for the shake. I had to drive roughly 30 minutes round trip including traffic and wait time at another location just to actually get the shake I wanted. How does this happen every single time at this specific location? Is this a special location where they hire special people to work at to help them build people skills and life skills?
