Burger was much larger than I anticipated. Cooked fine. Lots of toppings with one too much - OOPS (?). What's with the overload of mustard? (Maybe on a hot dog, but this was over the top for a burger.) Obviously I'll try other versions in future...and some of the chicken too. First time review....won't be my last. Great Service today. I took my adult kids to Whataburger this morning for a much missed Whataburger breakfast (Texans now living is areas of the country where Whataburger doesn't exist). Dee took our order with a great personality and showed true concern for servicing our needs. After taking our order he walked our Dr Pepper shakes out to the car because he didn't want them melting It's nice to see this type of quality service from a fast food restaurant other than Chick-fil-A. Twice I've gone through the drive thru and had the person in the window take my card to pay, hand me the food, and keep my card. This past time, the person put my card into their pocket. Again the worst Whataburger in Fort Walton Bch. The other locations are better. Ordering on there app works well. No problem there. Getting your order in a timely manner, they fail miserably. I have had issues with this location for years, and vowed, never to go there again. After a year of boycott, I decided to give them another try. Thinking that employees and owners have changed hands and may have gotten better. I was sadly mistaken. After arriving, confirmed my online order at the speaker. One car at the window waiting for their order. 12 minutes later I was able to advance to the window. Worker couldn't find my order. The WORST!!! There is nothing "fast" about this fast food place. Over 1 hour and 15 minutes (technically still waiting so will be longer). Ordered food on August 23 via the app. My mistake increased the order from less than $15 to almost $46. Visited the restaurant within 5 minutes and talked to the pink-haired manager. Asked the teeny bopper to cancel my order, since it was totally bolluxed and not what I had intended to purchase. Told her to please NOT process the food because I wasn't going to accept it. She claimed she could not do anything on her end. I would have to contact Customer Service by phone. Left the restaurant immediately and called customer service, then explained this snafu to them. They agreed to refund my credit card for the amount of the charge. Nothing for a week. Called again and no joy. Submitted again with their faithful promise to credit my card for the purchase amount. Called for the 3rd time tonight and got the same song and dance. Have since filed complaints with my credit card company and with PayPal through whom the charge was processed. If you can avoid doing business with these clowns, I strongly suggest you do so. Not all Whataburger stores are this sorry, in point of fact, most are quite good. Walked in to order, no one inside restaurant. I had to say something to the employees so I can order otherwise they are just goofing off behind the counter. Took 15 minutes to give me a sandwich. It's literally the blind leading the blind in there. Needs leadership. One girl was filling the French fries then she would dump them into the sorter... over and over again! read more

I was so excited to be in Florida, one of the few states that serve the chop house cheddar burger. I hyped this burger up to no end and I was disappointed by how overcooked the patty was and how little sauce I was given. The sauce is literally what makes the burger so iconic.
