Yard birds forever lives in my heart we were here on vacation and i got the wing sauce tossed tenders and i still think about them daily. Service wasnt super quick but it clearly states in their drive thru that it is not fast food‍. The people were also super sweet and funny! We will be back asap. read more

Long wait times but worth every bite. Always hot and delicious. Been coming here for years and will keep coming back for more.

Food and service can't get any better than YardBirdz ! Tavaris and the crew will get you right every time

We love the hot fresh fried chicken tenders! Beats the frozen, heat lamp warmed stuff you get at most places hands down. The fries are done well and seasoned just right. We really like their Cole slaw side as well. The folks at the window are fast but always friendly and we mean that Sincere-ly!. A great place for a quick meal, no wonder the drive thru line gets so long! read more

It's kind of hit or miss here. When it's good it's the best chicken wings in town. When it's not so good, it's still good but they have tiny wings sometimes. Still a great place for a decent price on chicken wings. read more

Great chicken and great people, I just wish they had a bigger staff. Because almost everytime I go there they all look so stressed out.

The food hasn't been good. They don't wear hair nets or gloves, the floor is nasty, and the food on the ground. They are not very nice when people order the food they have to wait 30 minutes. When someone comes to the drive where they have their friends, they make the customer wait to give their friends priority over a customer who has waited 20 minutes. So I give 3 star read more

Reasonable prices for great wings! Ten wings (one sauce per five), fries, slaw, 2x ranch, carrots sticks and a small coke product: $14 and change. The fries and wings (fried) were cooked to order. Not sure about walk up service (outside tables available) but drive thru open. Worth the wait. Menu is very diverse with chicken tenders and shrimp also available. Friendly service! read more

Yard Birds - Combo meal: ten wings, fries and a drink! - Barbeque Near Me - Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Tender were good but really tiny. At $9.62 for six tenders I was expecting more. Should have got a 10 piece nugget from McDonalds.

My wife frequently requests that I drive across town to Yardbirds--often 2 to 3 times a week--for her favorite meal: a garlic Parmesan wing dinner with double fries and no coleslaw. And as the saying goes, "happy wife, happy life." Over the past 6 to 8 visits, from late September 2024 to January 13, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Yardbirds has consistently delivered outstanding quality--worthy of five stars. If you've had a less-than-stellar experience in the past, I strongly encourage you to give them another try. I believe they'll not only meet but exceed your expectations. read more

Dinky tenders Dinky wings The lemon pepper were decent and crispy, but so small No celery sticks Asked for blue cheese, got ranch Felt like a ripoff Red pepper jam is just sweet chili sauce Slaw tasted bland Fries were ok Pretty mediocre Disappointing for $20 read more

Not so bad, I've heard amazing things about this place, but when I went, I was definitely let down. The chicken is subpar but slightly seasoned. They give you a great amount of fries, but even then they were just fries, could get better tasting fries from McDonald's. I'll give it another try, but wasn't too impressed. read more

I loveddddd the live music and dancing event. took a little long to order, but the delicious masterpiece they called a meal made it all worth it. i would do anything, and i mean ANYTHING,, for their house sauce. amazing place, take ur kids here. read more

It was a Wednesday and I had a hankering for some wings! I think Wednesday is my body's time clock for that wing craving. The biggest attraction here is there uber tasty chicken tenders. They come in sizes of 4, 6, 10, 12, and 20. Since I intermittent fast I am usually pretty hungry by 11 or 12. I went with their 6 tenders, their hot sauce flavor and the chipotle ranch and pepper jam dipping sauce. The hot flavor was the right amount of spiciness and the two dipping sauces were also great with the fries. The meal came with sides and I'm super glad I picked their slaw. It was delicious! The prices here great and their portions are tailored to how you like them! There's no seating inside, it's all outdoor. But their drive-thru is available also. read more

Been going here for years. Since they opened. My son who grew up here and is now stationed at Tyndall AFB comes home just for Yardbirds, but that's all changed now. To the young lady who spoke to me with a chip on her shoulder and foul attitude. Not sure what I did to piss you off. Was it because I asked for sauce on the side? In any case, it doesn't matter. Not to worry. You will never ever see me again at your restaurant. I'll never spend anymore money there. And by the way, the order you gave me was the wrong one. Maybe you were too busy trying to be insulting to me. read more

I was looking forward to try the chicken tenders bc if all the Great reviews. I ordered a 10 piece chicken tenders for $8.69. I found them on the small side. They were white meat of good quality. And they came out hot. But I thought they totally lacked flavor. They were completely tasteless. ZAXBY'S has plumper, more flavorful chicken tenders for the same price. read more

Yard Birds - 10 piece chicken tenders: it was okay. Actually pretty Disappointing. Totally lacked flavor. - Barbeque Near Me - Fort Walton Beach, Florida

The wings were tiny, overcooked and tasted like someone fried them in old oil. The tenders were tiny, dry and flavorless. Simply put, the food tastes like it's been in the refrigerator for two weeks, and then they drop it in some old, hot oil, when you order it. Within the last couple years, their quality, specifically the wings and tenders, has deteriorated. I'm not sure if the other menu items are better, but if a place called Yard Birds can't get chicken right, I'm too scared to try anything else. The wait is ridiculously long, but it was worth it, when the food was good. These days, you'll wait in line, for at least 20 minutes, for leftovers. I used to love Yard Birds; however, after my last visit, I don't think I'll ever go back. Furthermore, the people who work the at window are never friendly. read more

This is the only fast food restaurant in the world where I know I'll be waiting in the drive-thru for 10-20 minutes but know it's worth it to get some of the best chicken tenders in town. I've come to Yard Birds numerous times and I've never 1) used the walk-up window to order, 2) been there when there hasn't been a line, and 3) ordered anything other than the chicken tender dinner. Besides chicken tenders they offer chicken wings in a handful of flavors, fried shrimp, fried catfish, and pork chops. Sides include french fries, potato salad, baked beans, jalapeno coleslaw, and Texas toast. My go to is the chicken tender dinner (6 tenders) with jalapeno coleslaw, french fries, one piece of Texas toast, and one honey mustard and one house sauce. This in itself doesn't take too terribly long to get in the drive-thru, but as with every other time you're in the drive-thru it all depends on what the folks in front of you order. One time I was at Yard Birds I had ordered and was next in line to pay, but the car in front was taking a while. After five minutes the side door to Yard Birds opened and the guy working the register brought me my order and let me pay him versus at the window. Hooray for attentive customer service! If you are in a rush, don't try and visit during the weekday lunch rush or around dinner time regardless of the day. With that said, I've still waited in line for 15+ minutes at 2:00 PM and at 8:00 PM. If you've got the time though, I think it's worth the wait. read more

The food here is really good, but the wait is LONG!I waited in the drive tru with three cars in front of me. I waited for about 30 min for the first car to get its food. About an hour later, I finally pulled up. read more

Trash. 2 cars in the drive through and waited 20 minutes for the most overrated chicken tenders on the market. Not worth your time.

Love this place! Good portions for a good price...not to mention the food is always hot and fresh!! I love some hot crispy fries! We always get the chicken finger plate and substitute the cole slaw for an extra bread. I love their house sauce (the meal comes with two sauces) and when I want something different the red pepper jam. If you go through the drive through, be prepared to wait 15+ minutes. read more

Lived in town for years and kept meaning to come here since they opened. Was craving wings today so I figured it was time. Most reviews talk about the chicken tenders and said they are great so I hoped their wing game was just as good. I managed to hit them with no one in the drive through for a change since they stay busy. Had to wait about 10 minutes for my 10 wing combo. It was worth it. Good size, meaty wings cooked fresh. Coleslaw was good and the fries were seasoned great. By the time I got my food there was already another six cars behind me. I see why! My only complaint was I ordered the hot wings, and despite a warning from the employee that they were very spicy, they were maybe a light mild. I know everyone's tolerance of heat is different but I really expected more of a punch. Regardless, the wings were great and I'll definitely be back! read more

Never open or when they are they run out of chicken or randomly close before you get to order. I've never seen a more unprofessional and horribly ran restaurant in my life. Only reason they are still open is because of lack of competition don't waste your time or money dealing with this place. Hit or miss if you'll get food after waiting in line for 30 mins. read more

This was my first time here and wasn't sure what to expect. I decided to go for the shrimp po boy. First and last time I make that mistake. Hoagie bun with 2 tomatoes slices in half, 1 leaf of lettuce, and a pile of deep fried popcorn shrimp. The thing was so dry I couldn't eat it as a sandwich. I instead ate the fried shrimp which were almost over cooked. I don't know if I'll ever go back. read more

This place is slacking! First y'all disrespectfully took the real shrimp off the shrimp PO boy and replaced it with nasty ass popcorn shrimp scam!. Now I just left there and ordered some potato salad expecting that amazing bomb ass potato salad and now y'all changed that shit too DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. If you're trying to go cheaper say that! And atleast let your people know that have been going here for years that you're changing stuff around to get around cost. Never coming back P.s. The new potato salad sucks if it didn't come across as clear earlier. read more

I ordered the chicken tender dinner and it was absolutely disgusting. The tenders were flavorless and dry, fries were old, and the Mac and cheese had no cheese, no seasoning, and a bunch of black pepper. Great wings! We like the fact that they make them crispy and not soggy like a lot of other places. Not a fan of the sides.

Let me start by saying I'd rather eat local than a chain business. I've been here twice within 4 months, and same result "blah". The best part of the meal was the coleslaw (which is sad, considering this place is known for chicken). The tenders I had were small, and not juicy (over cooked) both times.
