We decided to dine in at Slim Chickens for early lunch on a Saturday. We were greeted upon entrance and took our time to review the menu. We settled on a salad with fried chicken, mango habanero tossed wings and the chicken and waffle plate. The decor was fun with colors of red and grey and a few well placed autographed guitars complemented the tv screens with news playing. We selected a booth that offered the warmth of the morning sun as we dined. Our food was brought by the pleasant man who took the order. The salad was of a generous portion with chicken strip well positioned on top, I opted for a vinaigrette that was the perfect complement. The chicken and waffle was tasty with chicken fried to succulent perfection. The wings were obviously not seasoned before they were fried however the mango habanero sauce was flavorful. read more

What a great find! Since this was my first time, one of the staff members Catherine helped me to order the most popular menu item which was the chicken club. She was 100% right. The chicken was absolutely amazing and instead of having fries I paired it with some fried pickles. read more

Food is pretty good, though you do have to pay for extra dipping sauce, which is a little annoying. Restaurant is pretty clean if you want to eat inside. The people are friendly. The buffalo sauce isn't worth the extra 50 cents. All spice, no flavor. The spicy chicken nugget pieces and the potato salad are really killer though! Also the fries are hit or miss. Opt for potato salad or Mac and cheese instead read more

Came through the drive through and ordered a chicken wrap. It was very good. The service was quick and the ambiance is family friendly. This place reminds you of Zaxbys, Guthries, Canes, and Huey Magoos If you're from Atlanta you know all these places. Not a bad place to eat at. They have chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. read more

Stopped here tonight I've never been before and we are in vacation and needed something quick. They were a little behind but acknowledged it and were so kind. The food was great too. I wish I would have gotten the managers name. She was very kind to my daughter and I. read more

Their packaging doesn't hold up well to florida humidity coupled with their own heat, but their chicken club was absolutely outstanding. The heading on the fried mushrooms was fantastic and had the perfect crunch and light earthy mushroom flavor. Chicken tenders are always good as is the richness of their garlic parm dip. It is so garlicy and silky. Really enjoy their food. read more

Slim chickens is a chain not located near me but I really liked it when I tried another location so I got a little happy when I saw one here. The inside is clean and the young lady taking our order was prompt. My only concern was the quality of the food. My husband had a spicy chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. My mom and I had wings and the skin of the wings were very rubbery. Not like I remembered. My strips were also a little salty. I feel like this place may be a hit or miss but it's not bad. Just wouldn't be my top choice for a quick lunch meal. read more

We ordered online and had it delivered. Our delivery driver delivered to the wrong address and would not communicate with us. I called the store and spoke with Donnie ( the manager ) and he helped us out with our needs. We had a wonderful experience with him and when I picked up the order the staff members were super nice! We will be ordering from here again! read more

2.75. (I know this is very wacky....but please read on). As with several reviews I've done, this one comes with the caveat that it contains opinions of our "family" although my comments override all. One branch of our crew (3 members) unanimously gave it 4 solid stars. Great flavors, fresh, hot chicken and fries in their opinions. A second branch (4 individuals) gave it 3.5-4.5 stars. Granted, their order came via GrubHib so there was a bit of a "drawback" or letdown from the soggy fries they got. The final branch (3 more of us) gave it a wide range 2-3-4. One: loved the wings but found two with extra inedible skin. The last 2 of us found the chicken breast sandwiches to be very "off" in flavor. Very fishy as if done in old oil. Fries were ok but the one crowning success was the very delightful sauces. Each was distinct and different. (& a bargain at 5 for $1.99) Last note: our order was at the drive-thru and took a bit longer than we expected. Nevertheless, our biggest concern remains: tender chicken that just didn't taste right/very off-putting - bad oil? read more

Costumer service is awful, closed their lobby 20 minutes early. Couldn't even get a milkshake.

Service was slow and the chicken sandwich was totally unremarkable. The potato salad had a nice spice palette but the potatoes had weird texture, as if they had been frozen. The only redeeming fact was the window clerk was very helpful and pleasant to interact with. read more

Not the worst not the best. Good enough to use for the late night munchies but not something substantial. Over priced typical sysco food.

My husband and I tried this for dinner since we've never been to one. It was a very average chicken place. Price was decent and the guy who took our order was friendly. We're big hot sauce people so we were a bit disappointed when the hottest sauce on the menu had barely a kick. We got our food pretty fast so that was nice, but we probably wouldn't go back unless it's a last resort or we want something fast and close by the next time we're in the area. read more

Locals here. Not sure why it took this long to give Slim Chickens a try, but glad we did this evening! I had their new Memphis BBQ sandwich and my wife had their Chicken Club sandwich. Both sandwiches were really good. The Memphis BBQ was authentic, and the many synergetic flavors in both sandwiches exploded in our mouths (in a very good way!) My side was coleslaw (again, Southern authentic delicious) and my wife had fries (perfectly made and not greasy or soggy.) Along with the affordable prices, we were very impressed, and will be back soon. read more

If you go through the drive expect a wait, but our food (chicken tender and slim sauce) is always exceptional once we eventually get it

Went about 3:30 in the afternoon. preordered online. The food was cold and stale. Lettuce wilted. They substituted a fruit drink for a milkshake without asking. Then when I challenged them they said they didn't have milkshakes. So i paid 2.79 for a Diet Coke. Fries were soggy, too. We won't be going back there. read more

So this is my first time trying the food here and honestly I had high hopes. I thought that the chicken tenders would be a little bigger because of the price that it ended up being ($25). All we got was the slim meal and the chicken sandwich along with a Oreo milkshake. I honestly thought that the price would be lower. Oreo is great, chicken is chewy and sandwich is fine wouldn't recommend for a dinner but would for like a quick snack or quick bite to eat. read more

IDK, I was hoping for better considering the pricing. They are good but are basically the chicken tenders from like Tyson. Fries were ok'ish. Potatoe salad was not good. Mac n cheese was ok, but no flavor really. Sauces were, eh. The new Mac n cheese bowls were ok. Not bad but not great either. About the only thing I have really enjoyed so far from there are the chicken and waffles. The syrup was not overly sweet and complimented the chicken. The waffle was Belgian styled cut up into waiters for you. The waffle was pretty good too. It had a nice crisp on the outside but soft inside, not overly sweet or vanilla. It is about the only thing I would go back for honestly. read more

Welp waiting for 30 minutes for our food along with 90% of the customers. What in the world!

Foods mediocre, but the worst part was my experience with my online order and certain employees. Order was placed a 5:40pm for a 6:15 pickup. I get to the store and they didn't make it yet. Instead of listening to me they rudely told me it would be on the pickup table when ready. Wasted 15 min and then someone finally realized my order wasnt even made. After 30min and speaking with the manager they finally made my order. Will never come back here and strongly recommend against anyone else coming. The manager and some employees were helpful and friendly, but I shouldn't have to waste 30min before they finally decide they messed up and never made my order. I ended up leaving with my food at 6:50. read more

Slim Chickens is new over here. It has many amazing reviews on google. I was excited to try it out later. A friend of mine ordered the chicken tenders. He said they were mediocre, and to not go there. That was a deal breaker for me. Since its chicken, after all, that they specialize in. It better be good! Next, a week later, another friend of mind decided to try it out. And was warned to not go. So this time I tried their food as well. We all didn't like it. So I'm not sure why they are receiving so much love over the quality of food. It was disappointing to me. read more

I work for a multimillion dollar locally owned business and we ordered Slim Chickens for our entire staff. Unfortunately the Slim Chickens' staff was extremely rude to our team member who picked up our order. Not only that, they offered her absolutely no assistance in get the order to her automobile and the order was extremely large. We always try to support local businesses and this community, however, this level of service is not what we expected. read more

It was just ok. I wasn't disappointed, but wasn't impressed either. I always give two chances so maybe the 2nd time will be better. It might have been the crazy long wait. Service was fine. Nice enough people. But food is average at best. Just deep fried chicken nuggets. My wife ordered a salad and all they had for dressing was a half dozen versions of ranch. Ranch this. Ranch that. Ranch ranch ranch. Want something non ranch? Nope. We got ranch! read more

We love Slim Chickens! Probably order once / twice a week. Food is always fresh and tasty! Great value for what you receive. My 8 year old said that he'd give SLIM CHICKENS a 4 or 5. He said it would've been better if they'd added more chicken to his wrap. We ordered my daughter macaroni and cheese. Hot damn this place is amazing. Best chicken tenders I've had in a while. Cherry hooked it up by suggesting the inferno sauce. I'm a pepper head so this sauce was very mild and delightful, though I wish they had something a bit spicier Dae was also a delight when there, in fact the whole staff is. Definitely my go to place for a great bite to eat, worth the drive through midday traffic to go here! read more

I'm so happy that Slims has finally come here! The food is so yummy and it's a nice change from other places. It gets super busy at dinner time and watch for the turn in! I missed and ended up in the hotel parking lot next door. The staff was awesome and extremely helpful with the menu. They did forget my dessert and my sauces but I checked everything before leaving so I got it before getting home. Not a big mistake and easily corrected with just checking. Let me first say I love your food and eat it often, plus I have your app to collect points. Today, I did an order through the drive thru for $33.34. I noticed the amount of fried okra was much less than in my past orders. So, I went inside the restaurant to question what I noticed. The first person showed no interest in my question about the amount of okra, the second person from drive thru (was nice and friendly) referred me to the manager, AUSTIN, who was on his cell phone behind the counter. Once he was off of his phone, it looked like he was having a bad day (my observation was correct in how he dealt with me) and as I explained my displeasure with the amount of okra in the order, he responded that everything is measured and if I wanted, he would make another order to compare. I asked him if he did that, would he be willing to redo the entire order as it would be cold by the time the new okra was done to which he responded "no" in a manner that was condescending, but that he would give me a brownie. After some more discussion about consistency amount of the product and feeling shorted, and realizing that he would not redo the order, I asked if I was still going to get a brownie in which he responded "no' because of my attitude. Never once did I raise my voice or make a scene. At this point, I definitely felt shorted and that my valid complaint was trivialized. Austin lacks severely in customer service skills! His demeanor and the way he treats your customers and employees are a reflection of your company. I am a regular customer and have visited your establishment 7 times, including today, in the month of January. I do not feel that I will be back. There are other restaurants that serve chicken sandwiches and so forth with more quantity of product and definitely better customer service. This was the worst experience I've had. Decent spot but dear god get ready to wait 30 minutes. The drive thru line is horrendous

I'm digging this chicken spot they have so many wing flavors and they even have waffles. The food is great.

This is absolutely amazing!! The chicken club sandwich was outstanding and I absolutely loved it. Rea crispy chicken. Totally recommend!

They have really good chicken and fries. The staff is al aye friendly and helpful too.

My first time trying Slim Chickens and I'm so excited they are coming to Arizona. Everything was so flavorful, even the sides. I got the Nashville chicken sandwich and it was on point. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and modern. Above all, the service was excellent. Very nice people that work there. read more
