What a Sweet little place. Hey to find kale salad and veggie bowls in this area is a charm. I give them a five for the fresh food, wonderful service and overall great concept. They even make their own sauces and have takeout which includes cauliflower crust pizza! Definitely laid back atmosphere. But worth the stop. Even the price was right. I had a romaine salad as the kale didn't come today; but it was very fresh. Farm to table I believe. I could choose my own dressing that they make in house. My partner had a veggie bowl which they usually add some kind of meat to... Since she wanted all vegetables they substituted any two veggies on the menu. I felt this was very accommodating. Being stuck in a room with just a fridge and a microwave, it's very difficult to make sure you eat right. A friend suggested trying out a meal prep restaurant and I tried Clean Eatz. Little did I know it is changing how I eat from now on. I walked in and a worker immediately interacted with me and taught me about the different meal options. I opted to get the frozen to go meals and with the service discount, I was paying very little for what turned out to be great meals! I grabbed a Philly cheesesteaks flatbread with pesto chickpeas as a side. This tastes like it should be bad for you but it is flavorful and meaty and the bread was perfect toy toasted. I highly recommend anything on both their cafe menu or their to go meals! I plan on trying their meal plan when I return home. read more

If you are looking for a place that has healthy and great tasting food, check this place out! My friend took me here and I'm so glad that she did. Pros: The inside of the store is super bright, welcoming, and clean. There's motivational quotes and posters around and I really like that. Also, a very spacious dining area. Staff is always friendly, fast, and nice. Alot of food options like sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, sides, and sweet treats. You can even build your own bowl! My favorite is the Thai wrap that has chicken, cabbage, edamame, carrots, spinach, with a peanut sauce. It's absolutely delicious and a good portion size. They stuff alot of stuff into the wrap! This wrap has really great flavors and the peanut sauce is tangy and not overwhelming. They also sell a bunch of pre-made meals that you can purchase for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I love their daily sides! It changes every so often. I had the vegetable medley twice now and it's crisp, fresh, and the sauce they add is really good. I love the zucchini! I also had their pasta salad and it was delicious as well. Their infused lemonades tastes light, fresh, and refreshing. I love the cucumber infused lemonade and the pink lemonade. They also sell these energy drinks that are healthier for you. I had the cotton candy flavored one. It's good after a few sips but then tasted kinda medicinal. It's drinkable though and I felt energized. Cons: Depending on what you get off the menu, the portion size can be too small. I had the black bean burger and it was kinda small. I was still hungry after eating it. Granted it was a really good burger, but it was just to small for my liking and pricey ($7.99). It did come with a side and drink though. I was expecting a bun on my burger but it was more of a flatbread. I did not enjoy the chocolate chip cookies that was sold in the packages up front. The cookies were too spongy and dry for my taste. The dark chocolate on top of the cookies added a nice touch. The chocolate chex mix is decent. Overall, this place is pretty good, prices are decent, and I like that I can eat healthy without sacrificing any flavors. I always feel happy after enjoying a meal here and not bloated. read more

The wraps are delicious, and they have great salads as well. Portion sizes are good. Because they use healthy ingredients but good sizes, you leave feeling full but not overly so. My friend and I were looking for some healthy lunch options nearby our work and Clean Eatz Shalimar was on top of the Yelp list so we decided to give them a try. I was impressed right away by their selection of pre-portioned "grab-and-go" meals. They even had sections for Keto and Vegan diets. Their main menu is broken down into burgers, flatbread sandwiches, wraps, bowls, muscle-building meals, salads, smoothies, and snacks. I ordered a small size bison build-a-bowl with asparagus, edamame, and black beans--topped off with the Thai peanut sauce and seasoned with their Swole 'n Spicy seasoning. I'm glad I got the small. It was a plentiful enough portion for me. The taste was on point. I've never had it before but that bison was damn good. It actually made me feel happy to eat this because I knew I was eating something healthy and it actually tasted good, too. Lots of people get discouraged from eating healthy because it doesn't necessarily look or taste appealing--and it's time consuming to prepare. That's why I'm glad a place like this exists, where I can pay someone else to wizard all these wonderful ingredients together in the proper portions so that I can focus on enjoying a nice healthy meal and slimming my fat ass down! And if that's not convincing enough for you, also know I that I got to wash all of this down with an ice-cold refreshing glass of apple cinnamon-infused water--an elixir of hipsters. As for the restaurant space itself, Clean Eatz Shalimar is a small and casual dining spot--perfect for your lunch break and/or meal prep needs. What I had & ratings: Weekly Wrap special/Buffalo Guac Wrap (5 stars), Sweet Potato Fries (3 stars-not crispy enough for me), healthy drink of some kind (2 stars). What my wife had & ratings: Chicken Pesto Wrap (5 stars), Sweet Potato Fries (4 stars), and non-sweet tea of some kind (4 stars). Wish they offered a small bag of healthy chips of some kind for choice of a a side (limited side choices), but no big deal. We will go back. Alright here's the low down on Clean Eatz. They have a walk in restaurant with very reasonably, well, clean Eatz. My go to for cafe food is the "Arnold" which is part of their "Muscle Maker Menu: Shredded beef, brown rice, peppers, mushrooms, lettuce, cheese and CLeanEatz Buffalo sauce. It's 720 calories, clean and incredibly filling. Onto their meal prep. I started by trying their "grab and go" meals which are meal prep meals that have been frozen and I really was not impressed but after hearing enough people say good things about CE meal prep I decided to try their fresh meal prep which I was MUCH happier with. Every Thursday they come out with a new menu selection for fresh meal prep that's available for pickup on Sunday, Tuesday for special requests like half carb, no carb, extra protein and such. I've really enjoyed the food and price along with the nutrition information that's available when you place a meal prep order online. I do wish that the nutrition information was available on the actual packages. It may be available online but I haven't found it yet. Another nit pick is that sugar and sodium isn't listed which are both important to me and wish those could be integrated to nutrition facts. If you don't want to wait for meal prep Sunday and want to try some of their fresh meals just walk to the counter check out their meal prep that's appropriate for that week (it may be on the back of the current weeks stand so be sure to ask) I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Their meal prep is half the price of healthy coast, which gets pricy REAL fast. Just as important, I'm always able to find enough of a secret ion of meals to enjoy every week. All in all, Clean Eatz is probably your best bet for value, clean food and taste if you're willing to do some planning ahead to order off their website for meal prep pickup. read more

What a surprise find! This is a very unassuming restaurant from the outside; it's in a small, strip mall and barely visible when driving by. However, as a vegetarian, I was looking for a restaurant with something for me as well. There are a couple of tables outdoors, and Inside, it's clean and more spacious than I expected. I had the teryaki black bean burger and it was yummy. Many restaurants don't understand that vegetarians want some taste and pizazz as well, but the sauce, with pineapple and green peppers was spot on. Normally I eat only half a sandwich at a time, but I ate the entire one. This restaurant also offers a meal service (daily, weekly, etc) but those meals are meat based. However, I will definitely go back for another black-bean burger - maybe with other toppings next time.
