Well, I have to say I am surprised again by Whataburger! This is a restaurant chain that I have stayed away from for years... Not having ever really been a fan. The few times I've tried it over the course of my 55+ years of life I have not been impressed. Even at this restaurant that I just pulled away from the drive-through at I had not been impressed by a previous experience that was a couple of years ago. In an unrelated event, I needed to purchase some sausage biscuits recently. I purchased one as a test at a Whataburger because it just happened to be in close proximity to where I was located at the time. The biscuit was fantastic!... This led me to go back and I did and purchase several biscuits which were all fantastic. Then I added more breakfast items and then I decided I would try the Whataburger with cheese. I was impressed by that too! Well, now I'm not in the location where I initially found the food I liked at Whataburger and so I visited this location where I am today. It too was excellent! I got a Whataburger with cheese and onion rings. The food was well prepared and very tasty. I don't know if they've had some kind of change of way that they do business or what but I like what I've eaten the last several trips to Whataburger, after many years of not wanting to have anything to do with them. One other thing I would know is that I am very impressed at the people who have waited on me each time I have visited in these last few weeks. The employees are dressed smartly in a very nice looking uniform shirt that appears to be high-quality and not junk. Additionally, the folks are friendly and well spoken, and actually give a greeting and are grateful to you for shopping. Every time I've been, the folks have thanked me for coming and always been polite and engaging. This is a departure from what I have experienced at the golden arches... Even the ones that I like often don't have good customer service. This stands out to me and is part of the reason why I really appreciated the visit in addition to the excellent food. read more

I confess that this was my first Whataburger experience. We stopped in for lunch at about 11:30 on a Friday. And we stood at the counter for over five minutes before we were waited on. Sorry, but I am not going to use a touch screen to order that is covered in germs and boo-gers from who knows. The lovely young lady who finally appeared from the kitchen was super friendly and took our order. When the food arrived it was very delicious. I am in love with the spicy ketchup. Before my stop on Phoenix Avenue I had never been to a Whataburger. I know when they opened traffic was lined up for a mile, so my wife and I waited for the hype to calm down before we finally stopped in. Frankly, I don't get what the big deal is. It's a burger joint. Better than McDonald's, but not quite up to par with Sonic or Burger King. Other than the novelty options like the Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger, I couldn't see (or taste) anything spectacular enough to make the place stand out. I DID order the S&S burger, and it WAS tasty, but it looked like a dang mess. Overloaded with condiments and toppings (which I normally appreciate), but served in a bun that couldn't handle that much pressure. I opted for the onion rings, and I gotta say, those saved the day. Made with real rings and not minced onion, the tasty o-rings were cooked to crisp, golden perfection. So good I didn't even need sauce. Deep flavor and soft insides, all I could ask for. I think we paid close to $25 for two combos, that was pretty steep for average sized combos even by today's standards, but still worth trying once if you never have. The place was quiet, but also pretty empty. We were there around 2:00 on a Saturday and were joined by only one other couple. Kinda strange how dirty the tables were considering they weren't overcrowded or fighting their way through a lunch rush. Surveyed the area a little before we found a "clean" booth which I had to wipe off myself before sitting anyway. The food was delivered to the table, that was a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and patient. Remember, we had never been to a Whataburger, so it took us a minute to decide. Based on the pricing, the uncleanliness, and her entree, my wife doesn't ever want to go back. She had a grilled chicken sandwich that didn't impress her any, but she's a picky, PICKY eater so I never consider her opinion in my reviews. I do though. I get it; everybody has off days. We may have come at the wrong time. Plus, I've still gotta try the Avocado Bacon Burger. I know the pictures are misleading (EVERYWHERE!), but that thing looks delicious! I wish I could give no stars! We have ate here a few times since it opened and it was really good. Went today and we should of known instantly and just left . Bad service just with ordering at the drive thru and our order was wrong. The young lady just didn't seem to care what was going on. We drove just into the parking lot to eat and my burger was raw!!!!! I opened the wrapper and it had blood juice all over!! I opened my burger and the meat was Red! Raw! Cold! Yuck!! I took it back in because that's just not right in so many levels!! Upon walking inside, there were probably 12 people working and just standing around. I don't understand, but I do know I will never be back !! ******I did say RAW HAMBURGER! The outside barely had color and the wrapper was full of bloody juice!! So went there today on 5/23 me and my dad drove up parked the trash on the out side was packed then went in and the bathroom was filthy than ordered and while waiting on our order the trash was overflowing I thought that they had cleaning standards but I guess that they have lost them it's sad, food sub par and the cleanliness was deplorable. read more

They get our order wrong every single time we go through the drive through. All we ask for is a plain burger & they just can't seem to understand not putting cheese or mustard. They're very slow, both drive through & inside. Eating inside, the food has always came out cold, like it had been sitting for a while before being brought out. We waited 20 minutes for french fries. Unreal! How hard is it to have fries ready? 4pm.

We went in to the store for the THIRD TIME, to see if they had proved service or quality. Service was friendly and store was clean-er. But...for the THIRD TIME IN A ROW, food was cold. Stale bun and cold meat (could not even melt the cheese someone slapped on it. My wife's food was the same. Hers has mayonnaise so thick it looked inedible. I do not get it with this place. We went in at 1:03 pm on 07/27/23 and there was no crowd, and we get cold food. Truthfully, the a person would naturally wonder how sanitary and safe cold meat is for digestion. WE WILL NOT BE BACK...Go to George's on Grand Ave. Never a cold burger or fries + the fries are hand cut. Incredible! I wouldn't say it was good or bad. I would go back. This was the first day they were open and the Drive Thru was extremely busy. I dined inside and it wasn't busy at all. Food was delivered fairly quick, hot, and correct temperature. I have no clue why they toasted the outside of my bun . I feel like this really messed up the overall burger quality. read more

Customer service is very poor. We arrived shortly before lobby closing time and the refused to serve us because they wanted to close early.

I've eaten here twice now and have been disappointed both times. The hamburgers have been so dry. That I couldn't them with out dumping a bunch of them. Me and my wife just had our son and we came here to get two burgers and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with two patties which was an extra $3 on the Patty and she ordered a chicken sandwich and her sandwich was lopsided with only two pieces of chicken and my sandwich only had one patty on it and when I went back in and confronted them they only brought me a patty in a to go box and said here u go 1 extra patty not worth the hassle McDonalds is easier and McDonalds fries are better read more

The food was good but made sloppy. They put way too much mustard on my burger and it looked like it was made sideways. On top of that, service was rude as fuck. The managers were all sitting in the corner laughing and being rude and loud. One worker kept walking around giving people dirty looks and making rude comments. My boyfriend asked for one thing to be taken off his sandwich and they took everything off except the lettuce and the lettuce was brown. Definitely would not recommend for a good time. Over the years I have eaten at multiple locations all in Texas. However, this location is NOT good...at all. The drive through is confusing, 2 lanes but the employees where out side in the lanes with tablets to take my order and money. I never made it to any window. I pulled around and was given my drinks. I had to flag the girl down bc one drink was the wrong size, which is fine, it happens. Well I get the food and got home expecting nothing but yummy food but that's not what happened. The fries where cold to the touch and old. The burgers where doubled wrapped and still coated in grease, as for the burgers themselves, cold, super salty and just disappointing. I would rather drive back to Texas to eat whataburger then eat at this location any day of the week. read more

I understand it being REALLY slow because everyone is new and they were slammed. I even understand the mistake she made on by order for the same reason. Also it was cold. Now I love Whataburger and every time I am in Fayetteville I eat there. What I DO NOT understand is the same burger in Ft Smith is almost $2.50 more than Fayetteville. Today Saturday, June 24 went to Whataburger to order onion rings I waited an entire week to get these onion rings when I got them they gave me two packs of ketchup but I had to ask for and they were stuck together well it is convenient to have a little bucket of chicken ketchup instead of tearing every pack open like McDonald's or Burger King however it is so hard to open the pack that the last time I went and got onion rings I got squirted in my face in my eyes with the kitchen trying to open the package this time it got on my hands and my clothes it pissed me off so bad that I threw the ketchup slammed it on the concrete outside I had to wait until I got home to eat The onion rings and by that time they were cold and soggy so I got really ticked off wrote a nasty letter to them and let them know that it was me that put the ketchup on the concrete they left me a voicemail telling me that they weren't putting up with that and that I was not to return to that restaurant so that pissed me off too and so I reported her to the corporate office we'll see what happens now regardless they're not the only one in town that serves onion rings you kidding me and I've never gotten squirted in the eye with anybody else's fucking catch up either and I've never been told not to come back and if you go to Whataburger don't count on your order being correct and Leaving do not ever leave with your order without checking it first the first time I ordered a burger and it will be the last I got all the way back home 20 minutes away from Whataburger check the burger and I'll be if they didn't have mustard and tomatoes on it exactly what I said not to put on it they do what they want to your food they don't give you what you asked for and what you pay for they don't do it your way they do it there's regardless of how much you pay you will hardly ever get what you want and by the way while I am always waiting for onion rings to be cooked I'll listen to everyone's complaint but hast to go back up to the counter return their food and get other food because it was never correctly prepared in first place today a man had to come all the way back to the restaurant Because they gave him sausage biscuits instead of chicken biscuits he didn't pay for sausage biscuits he did not order sausage biscuits he ordered chicken biscuits God only knows how far away he did that he had to come all the way back because of someone else's ignorance so if you choose to go to Whataburger be prepared to sit around until you they do get your order correct read more
