This place is the worst !!! Waited 15 mins for orde when there were 3 other cars in line . Order was wrong ( no surprise ) went inside and asked for correct order . This was breakfast mind you . Ended up having to demand a refund for the crappy service , attitude and lack of any sense of customer service . The morning shift mgr is a moron btw . First time and last I ever return to this shit show read more

It's Whataburger...what more do you need to know? Oh! That you can get your fries extra crispy!!!! I had no idea until after almost 4 years of marriage my wife ordered hers like that. I personally love the squishy fries but she likes the crispy ones. Who knew?!?! They make your burger fresh when you order it. However you want it. Is it wrong to drink the ketchup all by itself?!?! What kind of crack do they put on it to make it so addictive?!?!?! read more

This is the worst whataburger location I have ever been too and I've been to many in many different states. They have gotten my orders wrong five times and the food tasted like it was from yesterday. The owners of this location need to hire a good manager that can properly train the employees or find different employees that want to do a good job and not just collect a paycheck. read more

If I could give them a zero I would, so I ordered on their app for curbside and waited at the parking spot for almost 30 minutes and had multiple employees look out the window but not a single one of them did anything. I called the place and asked them what was going on and a lady told me I had to go through the drive through. Why have curbside as an option then?!? How was someone supposed to know that?!? But why didnt any of those employees who saw me and another car sit there for so long not come out and tell us. So then I got into the line which was another 25 minutes!!! Frustrated! Is putting it lightly!!! read more

the manager/employee that answered the phone was completely rude, and had a huge attitude.

I figure y'all are understaffed, but damn y'all take forever!!! Going to a sit-down restaurant would be faster than this "fast food". Just shut down, save everybody the trouble. read more

Oh Whataburger, you make me so sad. I've always had great experiences at this fast food chain and as a true Texan, I love my Whataburger, but this location needs a little help. I'm not one to complain, but this is the third time my order was missing something we paid for and the first time half my burger was missing. Yes, I said half. Where the other half went, I don't know. read more

You will never get what you asked for and YOU WILL be blamed for it being wrong. God forbid you ask for your meal to be fresh. You may only have what has been sitting there for whoever knows how long. read more

I love Whataburger! 3 A.M. is when I stop by the most. Never have I had a order go wrong. WTG!!! My wife and kids go during the day and she says they do a great job as well. Thank you Harmon Dobson and Paul Burton!!! read more

Short staffed causes horrible order fulfillment. Not the teams fault, but they need to get their operations in check. Tip: go they drive-thru, even for online orders. read more

On 10/17/21, I entered the What-A-Burger line in Crossroads, TX at 7:10pm. The lobby was closed. When I ordered 2 What-A-Burger meals with cheese, they told me they were "short staffed" and it would take 15 - 20 minutes. After ordering, I waited in line for 45 minutes and there were still 5 cars ahead of me. It was taking 15 - 20 minutes per car. I let the line and knocked on the front door. Four employees came to the door, and they were laughing and not working at all. It is impossible to have 4 or more employees in the store, the lobby closed and not to be able to move the cars forward faster than 15 minutes a car. On recent trips, that store did not have ice and there have been several occasions where the shake machine does not work. You guys need to close this store down until you can get working equipment and employees that care about serving customers. It is not just this What-A-Burger. I have had similar experiences at the What-A-Burger in Frisco, TX off Eldorado. read more

I love love love whataburger, probably too much. This location is one of the worst. Long wait times and you never get the right food.

My nephew and I waited an hour for our meal, two burgers and fries with drinks. They had us pull forward and we watched five cars get food before they finally gave us our meal. This location has always been slow and they aren't under staffed because two or more employees wouldn't be standing around if they were. We won't be coming back, I'd rather drive to the one in prosper. read more

Yo this location is always out of everything. Not to mention, you'll be waiting in the drive through for 30 minutes. Like, how you run out of chicken tenders? They're frozen, not perishable. Stock that ish up man. Probably just another fast food joint run by high schoolers who have no clue. read more

We've lived in cross roads for several years now. We come to this Whataburger with high hopes of not having to wait 30 minutes to get our food and EVERY SINGLE TIME it takes 30 minutes or more. It doesn't matter what time it is. We have several locations in the denton area and this is by far the worst location. I, we, and my family will NEVER come back here. It's beyond ridiculous for a burger. Corporate definitely needs to visit this location and figure something out. read more

If i could leave 0 stars i would. this place not only takes 45min+ in the drive through for 2 burgers but they are cold once you even receive them. This place should honestly be shut down and replaced with a chili's. if you want fast food don't waste your time read more

This place consistently is terrible. I waited 20 minutes to receive 1 burger and fries. It's ridiculous and when I got it the fries were so cold. 1/5 service. Will try my best not to come here again. read more

Food was alright, but very reasonably priced. About what you would expect from Whataburger. Inside the restaurant needed cleaned a bit - some garbage left on tables, trash by drinks was full read more

It's Whataburger people, not RG's. I haven't had the poor service that others seem to have had; in fact, I've only had good service here. The food is ok. Fast food burgers, chicken etc. Don't expect anything other than that and you'll be just fine. Nothing special... read more

Their drive thru is faster than some of the other ones I've been to. But someone please tell me why they have to squish my bun every time I get a sandwich or burger. It's like the purposely press down on it just before they put it in the bag. I know working there isn't the best, but don't take it out on my food, please! read more

Whataburger - Straight out of the bag! It's like someone sat on it before they gave it to me. - Burgers Near Me - Crossroads, Texas

Terrible customer service. Only serving food to the drive thru! All of the people that decided to dine in were apparently not important. Waited 45 minutes with kids to get our food. Some people left without getting their food and some were still waiting when we left! Spoke to manager and somehow our food was found. read more

Took twenty mins AFTER said time for a curbside pick up. It's Whataburger not rocket science!

Awful place. Don't waste your time here. Expect to wait over an hour in drive thru for order, I understand that it gets busy at Whataburger but getting a simple patty melt out should not take more than a hour and a half read more

2 stars for their food service sucks I sat at the counter for 11 min before they even came up to me. Only 5 people inside 3 cars in the drive. This could be that they are understaffed with only 3 people but I wouldn't think so. I have had more than enough time to write this and check my fb and my bank account and then blab to you before getting my food. Ok they did awesome this morning I called in my breakfast order and it was ready when I got there freaking awesome! read more

The worst whataburger on the entire planet. I would legitimately rather have coronavirus than coming here. You legit need to call them 3 weeks in advance to order anything. If you went here at 9 pm your order would be ready next morning. The people working here/managers are better off collecting unemployment checks then working here read more

AWFUL! The wait is always horrendous no matter how many people are there. 30 minutes in the drive thru with only 5 cars

If I could give them zero stars I would but I can't. They are the slowest whata burger I have ever been to. If there is more than 4 cars in line I wouldn't go because it going to take an hour!!! read more

This place needs better management. I am currently sitting in a line and have been here for 1 HOUR!!!! Yes that's right ONE HOUR. You need to have better customer service and my gosh! Have someone take payment and another person take orders! Why is this destination so bad????? Get it together corporate and fire whoever runs this location!!!!! read more

Avoid this one. It has seriously gone down hill in the last few months. Dinning room is always filthy and service is lacking. There are much better options in the area read more

The food given to me was stale and cold to the center. Wasn't even mad about how slow the line was just how cold the food they gave me was

highly disappointed in the amount of effort they had to make a simple famous honey bbq chicken strip sandwich. they literally put 3 chicken bites with a drop of bbq sauce & two cold pieces of cheese. the most disgusting sandwich ever. i cant believe they couldnt have just told me or asked me to choose something else but to make me and my wife go through this bs on a saturday night completely trashed our dinner. thanks whataburger. read more

I've been to this location 3 times. Every time I get to the second window they ask me if I ordered something and were wrong. It's happened all 3 times. They've got issues with keeping track of orders. I have one extra star because they have Dr. Pepper shakes. read more

Worst Whataburger Ever!! I had to update my review .... It use to be good .... I'm a big fan of Whataburger and I've stopped into multiple locations across Texas. A majority of them live up the Whataburger name and make sure you get fast, fresh food every time. I guess this place has lost their way. I've visited this location about 10 times and every time I come here I always have to go back inside to get my order fixed since they never seem to get it right the first time. I don't ask for much, I only want my food to look close to the menu picture and to taste fresh. I like hot fries, not something that has been sitting there for 5 hours and should have been thrown away 4 1/2 hours ago. I only come here since it's close to where I live but after this last trip I think I will be crossing Whataburger off my list of places to eat for a while. We went thru the drive thru as always and ordered a #1 Whataburger, no onions, and a Whataburger Patty Melt. As we pulled up to the window, I noticed the manager was at the window instead of one of the normal workers. I didn't think much about it and handed him my card. He handed me my bag of food, drinks & receipt. Of course since this is the troubled Whataburger I quickly checked the temperature of my fires and as always they were barely warm and soggy. I knocked on the window and asked the manager for some fresh fries. He looked at me with an annoyed look but said ok. I handed him the crappy fries and he shut the window. I already knew it was going to take a few minutes so I pulled forward to get out of other people's way. I had a bad feeling about the rest of my food and checked my Whataburger. To my dismay the burger tasted funny and off and the lettuce looked rotten. I spit out the bite and wrapped up the rest of the burger. I parked and walked into the building. At the counter I was met by the manager and I told him my burger tasted funny and would like another one. He grabbed my burger and rolled his eyes then walked away. I patiently waited for them to make another. As the manager brought me the burger I confirmed he made it with no onions but of course he put onions on it so he threw the bag onto the counter and walked back to the back mumbling different curse words as he walked away. My fries arrived and were hot and crispy and the manager told me he made a fresh patty for my burger. All of this drama could have been avoided if they had made everything right the first time but I guess they have lost their enthusiasm to provide fresh food to customers and just serve sub average food and hope the customers don't complain. Of course the manager could also use some additional customer service training. He seems to think once his back is turned his voice goes mute to everyone behind him but instead we can hear every word he says and that just makes me want to avoid this place that much more. As we got home and sat down to eat our food I checked my burger and the toppings once more. It seemed ok and as I took a bite I got that weird taste again. I spit it out and decided at that moment to never go back to that Whataburger again, ever! In fact, I won't be going to any Whataburger's in the near future!! Such a disappointment!! read more

This was so disappointing. The service was not bad but the food was all tepid to cold. The fries were hard and cold like they were sitting out for a while. We ordered onion rings which there was maybe 4. Will not be going to this location again. I will drive a longer distance for a better Whataburger. read more

Placed my order through the mobile app at 7:38pm. At 7:55 I stopped the young man who was running food to drive through customers to check because the app said my order would be ready by 7:45. He said they just switched positions and the cashier was a new person so he would send her out. She came out and asked what I needed. I informed her my order indicated it would be ready by 7:45. At 8:07 I went into the store after seeing no less than 7 people order and get their food after I arrived. The cashier walked away without saying anything. I loudly announced that it had been 20 minutes. The manager who was cooking made eye contact and didn't say a word. The cashier came back with food and a drink handed it to me without saying a word. I had to ask for a straw, and another employee handed to me which the cashier thanked her but NOT ONE PERSON SAID A WORD TO ME. No I'm sorry for the wait, no thanks for your order. You cant call it fast food if I wait 29 minutes for food. Horrible service. Horrible communication since there was NONE. read more

I came in for lunch this afternoon and you have a very loud employee yelling i come through the drive through alot but i came in to eat today and her yelling made me and my family uncomfortable and a very unsettling place to be honest will not return to this location any time soon until the employee is informed that her tone is not acceptable and attitude is not very welcome in a family restaurant and i could not bring my kids back. juawana or something like that i just cant feel comfortable even if she is yelling at other employees its just a unsettling to have to put up with as a customer what ever the problem is could be settled in a back office or something just doesn't need to be out for all the customers read more

Drive-thru order incorrect, cold burger, cold fries. This is the third time in a row the food was cold. Very Disappointing.

Just want to say I go to this Whataburger all the time & today (3.29.17) a random compliment & kind words from an employee in the drive thru window made my day. Thank you for making some stranger smile as they got their #1 CB plain with a chocolate shake for their sick relative. Not to mention the person taking my order thru the drive through was kind, upbeat & polite, you can hear a persons mood through their voice. Customer service at this Whataburger is 100% better than the experiences I've had at the Jack In The Box nearby, which was terrible. Thank you Whataburger! read more
