Sucks the closest WB to me is the worse I've ever been to. It started out great like any other WB but in the last 2yrs is has had a steady decline. I've been here a lot and 90% of the time now something wrong. It will take 45min to get through the drive threw, or they mess up the order. Getting pink burger pattys is very common. The employees are always hard to deal with like they would have trouble with a 20pc puzzle. Should've read the reviews before visiting. Honestly, this location deserves 0 stars. I placed an order through drive thru at 10:58 p.m. there were several cars in front of me who've already placed their orders, and both A and B lines were open. After placing my order I could barely hear the person on the speaker box, and asked for the gentleman to repeat what he said to which I got no response. I pulled around towards the window in the b land, and waited for 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged, and it wasn't even for my order. At that point I left, and know I was followed out by 2 other vehicles at least who left without their food also. I will never be returning to this location. Absolutely horrible experience. They take forever, and I didn't even get my debit card. I had to ask for it back, like wtf is up with this shit.

I stop here almost four times a week because I work late and it's the only thing open. And I refuse to eat the trash McDonalds calls food. It's definitely the best hamburger in Texas. I normally stop through the drive through and 9 times out of ten Eric is the one in the drive through. He is amazing at what he does. I hear his voice and all I have to say is I'll have the usual and he always gets my order right. One night he noticed the two large drinks I carry home didn't really fit in my cup holders together so he offered me a drink carrier. Now I don't even have to ask. It's all bagged up and ready for me to take home. Although I don't usually partake in the apple pie he never fails to ask just in case. If I were to rate based on yesterday's experience I would give them a big fat [0] if possible. At the speaker I had to repeat my order a few times becuz my son will not eat his cheeseburger if veggies have even touched them. But the lady would say "meat and ketchup" everytime I said "cheese and ketchup only" ... Finally we got it correct at the speaker & had to move on to pay (at the 2nd window... This tells me they r probably short handed)... I pull up to the 2nd window have my cash ready and she reads an order..... "All u have is 1 burger with onion rings & a Sprite".... Me: "nope, I have 2 #1 burgers, 1 kids meal and an extra Jr. Burger" she then picks up another bag and gives it to me...... I check it bcuz it felt light.... "Ma'am sorry this isn't my order" ... "Really?" Yea really I'm missing a whole meal if it is... She takes the burgers back.... Then brings me another bag. It has our ticket CORRECTLY on it so I say "yup this is ours" she starts to hand me 3 drinks 1 root beer, 1 kid root beer with ice, 1 kids Sprite .....[i have ordered 2 root beers no ice] when she finally gets that right I drive off thinking .... Finally! My son thinks he's starving so wanted his burger.... I hand it to him, the sticker says no lettuce & ketchup! WRONG! It has everything on it!!!! And the extra burger has nothing on it at all! Since it wasn't busy I drive my truck back thru to the window and the lady says did you have an order..,. NO, this is still wrong! I give Her the bag and the TICKET!!! The manager comes back...... THE MANaGeR and starts to say you have 4 burgers...yes. All with ketchup only!! No sir could you please read the ticket, it's actually right and I gave it back to y'all. 5 minutes later.......... "Ok here ya go, sorry about the confusion, here is your order" Ugh by this time I was furious obviously but stunned that since NONE of this was my fault he didn't take care of my meal, didn't offer a coupon, didn't give me a pie. Crazyyyyyyy excited that a whataburger has opened down the street from my house! Called to make sure they were open and was greeted by a cheerful employee on the other end. Very rarely do I give a fast-food outlet one star. This is partly due to over rated and overpriced burgers. My wife and I both ended up just throwing them away after a few bites since it wasn't worth the time nor gas to go back and complain. Doubtful our concerns would have been taken seriously anyway. NO gloves!!! As I was waiting I was watching food being prepared and no one was wearing gloves. If you are OK with someone handling your bun and the condiments for your sandwich with bare hands OK. This Whataburger is hit or miss. If you customize your order at all, there is a 50-50 chance they will get it right. The drive-through can sometimes be slow; it just depends if you hit it during a busy time. The staff is usually friendly and the food is good when they get it right. read more

I'm actually writing this horrible review while I sit at Whataburger for the second time tonight waiting as my food gets cold on two drinks. Having worked restaurant management for years this has got to be some of the worst service I've ever received. When a friend told me not to order from Whataburger because This one sucks I really didn't believe them because I've never had this experience at Whataburger before. Needless to say I will never be returning to this Whataburger again and I do not even know how they are still open. I ordered curbside pick up so of course the food is supposed to be made before you get there. Nope not the case, after waiting in my car for about 10 to 12 minutes I decided to go inside and see if anybody was making my food. Once I got inside I waited about another five minutes for someone to even say hello because no one was at the counter for over five minutes. People are standing around waiting everywhere I should've took that as a sign. So I waited for them to get my order ready and once all of my food was done and they said OK here's The mobile order it took an additional 10 minutes for me to get my food because it took them 10 minutes to make five drinks. So then I'm headed home happy that I finally have my Whataburger even though it's probably cold because I sat there waiting on those drinks so long. Then I get all the way home and guess what we are missing an entire kids meal and two of our drinks are unsweet tea when we asked for sweet. So back I go to the Whataburger a second time and I tell them what's missing and they remake the kids meal and once again once its ready I still sat there for another five minutes waiting on the drinks only to find out that they are out of sugar. Ridiculous!!! The staff is all teenagers and though it's not always the case in this case they have no concerns about you getting your food in a timely manner or correctly at that. Beware, stay away, do not go here and if you do don't say I didn't tell you so!!! read more

I love Whataburger but this location took over 30 minutes from the time we ordered until we got our food in the drive thru. The good part this time was our order was correct. They did sub white milk for chocolate because they ran out of chocolate milk. This was not the first time we waited for more then 20 mins in the drive-thru to get our food. This time was worse even though they had two line instead of one like when we normally go. Plus they typically mess up our order in some way. I work in fast-food, so generally I am extremely sympathetic to other people that do as well. However when I went through the drive-thru the other night I was shocked by the service I recieved. I had to correct my order at the window at least 3 times, and the employee was visably angry and acting like I was an inconvenience to her. The window was slammed shut so that she could fix the order in the system, and when she opened the window again she spoke to me as if I were a child. And after I signed a receipt stating that my order was changed the employee said that it was to say that I couldn't come back into the store and claim "I didn't get what I wanted"--as she put it. Again, I work in fast-food, so I can understand how frustrating it is when the order needs to be corrected at the window. But it IS a common occurance and proceding to act like it's an inconvenience for the emplyee to serve the customer correctly AND belittling them and treating them like a child is ridiculous and unacceptable by any one's standards. read more

Love whataburger. But this one is terrible. Maybe decent if you dine in, but if you drive through, be prepared to get exactly the opposite of whatever you order. EVERY SINGLE TIME something is wrong. We live close and get food to go often -- after 5 times in a row getting home and realizing something was completely wrong, we started checking the order thoroughly at the drive through window. Example: "only cheese and pickles -- dry, no sauce, no other veggies." What will you get? Mustard, onions, maybe some lettuce.. If you ask for NO ONIONS, you'll get extra onions or even charged EXTRA for grilled onions. If you ask for extra gravy, pull up to get your food and ask "is the extra gravy in here?" They'll say "yes... It should be." It never is. Posting a pic of the latest meal (drink) we got from there. The tea tasted funny but it was late (and dark) and we wanted to get home so I didn't say anything. Get home and open the lid on another one of the teas and see this jelly-slimy stuff all over the top. Turns out it's a mold / fungus that grows in the tea especially when kept in an unclean tea urn. So that's great! Just drank a cup of mold and am breast feeding a newborn baby! Called the store about this one. They did nothing and offered nothing. Will be taking the receipt up there and getting something back for such a waste of a $19 meal. read more

My son eat here about a month back and got very sick for 3 days. When I called in to tell them the employee told me there has been many complaints from that night and they had a new cook that night. She was not what was the issue yet and the manager is trying to find out what happened. I took my son to the Doctor. They sent me to cooperate office, then they sent me to Sedwidge company(that handles claims) that was real rude and took them almost a month to respond and when they did they told me was waiting on a approval for an offer. Then got a letter saying they turned down the claim. I called them back and was told that it must have been a stomach virus and they are not at fault. Basically the offer was go away we are not responsible anyone getting sick in a Whataburger. I have been eating at Whataburger since the 1970s and I promise I will never eat at one again. I understand sometimes any restaurant can have some issues getting sick but how they deal with it matters as well. read more
