Taco Bell - No meat or cheese or anything really. This is a consistent expectation. 3rd strike... not going back - Fast Food Near Me - Cross Roads, Texas

I typically don't write reviews, but this experience truly warranted one. When we approached the counter, we weren't greeted or given any guidance just directed straight to the kiosk. While ordering, I couldn't find an option to order a single tortilla. I asked someone at the counter for help, and after looking for it herself, she confirmed it wasn't listed and kindly said she would go ahead and get one for me. However, when I picked up my order, another employee approached and bluntly told me, "Yes, it's on there," without offering to show me where or help clarify. It felt more like being corrected than assisted. To make things worse, all the lights in the building were off I had to ask for them to be turned on. The entire restaurant was noticeably dirty, with mud all over the floor. Two of the employees I interacted with were extremely rude and unwelcoming. We love Taco Bell and rarely dine in, so this was supposed to be a treat. I truly hope the General Manager sees this and addresses these issues. This location could be much better with a little more attention to cleanliness, customer service, and hospitality. 3/9/2025 around 11:40am read more

Taco Bell - Fast Food Near Me - Cross Roads, Texas

I came to this Taco Bell at 9:00 on a Sunday night. I sat waiting for someone to answer at the intercom box for at least 5 minutes. When I said hello, the lady answered back very rudely I'll be with you in a minute. I finally ordered my food and went to order a drink and she said they were out of ice. What restaurant runs out of ice! Then they said that the freeze machine didn't work but it might have slush available by the time I got to the window? Then I proceeded to wait in the line. Literally I did not move, I would have gotten out of lime but you could not maneuver out of it. It's been almost 30 minutes of sitting. Cars wrapped around the building. Not moving. The chicken chipotle melt had 1 piece of chicken and was mostly excess old tortilla. Taco bell failed today. Badly. read more

Possibly in the running for the slowest Taco Bell in the country. Tell you're family not to wait up because you will be spending most of your night in line at the drive thru. Mobile order placed @1027 and wasn't ready until 1120. read more

Terrible service!!! Rude employees and there is always a long wait. When we pulled up this morning, before we ordered they told us "Just to let you know we have a 30 minute wait for orders".... There were 2 cars in the parking lot. If you are going to be open on NYE, staff for it. Better yet, if you are going to be open at all, get some employees that aren't jerks and actually do their job in a timely manner. read more

Every single time we go they mess up something. To the point where we go and say," what do you think they're gonna forget or mess up this time." The have our order written down completely correct and processed to give us something totally different. Every time we go in to try to correct it we get gaslit into thinking we're the ones wrong and they get mad at us for asking for it to be fixed. My mom had her food tossed at her by a girl who visibly looked mad at her for even bothering. They hired a guy I knew that bragged about going into work high or drunk all the time and he used to be manager. My girlfriend worked there before quitting and she says they have never passed an inspection. They just get a new manager so they're technically under new management and can keep the place open. Gotta drive down to Frisco just to get the order I paid for and decent service. read more

Every time I come to this location after 8-9 PM, I always get some excuse to why their not accepting orders and then when you drive past the window, it's a whole bunch of teenagers listening to LOUD rap music, like really LOUD and disruptive. Literally happened to me again last night. read more

Fryer doesn't work. Have to substitute items for others. It's 230 am and I get moved to the a parking spot to wait for my incorrect order. There is no one even out at this time why would I have to leave the window? I call this morning and spoke with the manager Giselle. I think it is. She told me she can't give me a refund and the employees don't work for her but she's a manager. Told me I have to wait for the gm to come to work in order to speak to them about the refund. What a joke. Corporate is being called. I'm getting attorneys involved after speaking with the manager who has denied to give me any access to her boss without going in when he's there. How crazy is this. Being strong armed by Taco Bell is crazy. read more

Came here to give them another chance. Made a huge mistake. They have a new scheme going; people go through drive through, they take your money, and then they tell you to go park in front and wait for your food. I didn't realize that the full parking lot was packed with everyone waiting for their food. I thought people parked to eat inside. Unfortunately, everyone was camping out front, forced to wait for the food they paid, but didn't receive. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE - you've been warned. read more

Fun fact! This is the slowest Taco Bell on earth! HONESTLY! This place had extremely bad service! Waited almost a whole hour for our food, and they didn't get anything right in our order, This Taco Bell doesn't even deserve the name "fast food." I wouldn't cry at all if this place closed down permanently. Absolute atrocity of a Taco Bell! read more

Great service always, and my nacho fries are always fresh. Not like the Taco Bell on main in the colony, I will never go back there

Ordered 2 cheesy roll-ups, add beef and they completely forgot the beef. Both of my boyfriends tacos had little to no meat either. Did they run off of meat at this location? Will not be going back, would recommend avoiding. Waste of time and money read more

This Taco Bell is among the worst. I ordered food for me and my gf and waited an hour before cancelling the order simply because they had not even started prepping it, according to the tracker. And this isn't the first issue I've had here, I only ever order from this location as a last resort when EVERYTHING else is closed and I haven't had time to shop for groceries. An act of desperation so to speak. The last few times I've ordered from here, my order was either made incorrectly, I received the wrong items entirely or even when I've tried to pick up in person, the drivethru line was wrapped around the building and it took upward of 30 mins. If you can go literally anywhere else, do so. I wish I could say I'll never order from here again but the only other place that's nearby and open late is the whataburger on 380 and it is equally awful. read more

Awful. Terrible. Waited in the drive through for ever... finally got home and our tacos were not even filled properly and broken!!! Who is charge here??!! Every time we order from this Taco Bell after 8 pm they tell us it's going to be at least a 20-45 minute wait.

Absolutely the worst. Especially at night. They are slow, both to take your order and to serve it. I have given it a few chances and have sat for 15 even 20 minutes in the drive through. On several occasions after waiting, I find out my order was incorrect as well...avoid this place if you can. read more

Placed an order on app 9:45pm, Thurs, May 26, 2022. In drive thru by 9:53-ish. This is a drive thru once in the lane there is no exit until you drive past the windows. I am stuck until 11:22pm. Yes, 11:22pm. 4 or 5 cars ahead of me already at the window is screaming like a banshee. 3 cars behind me is cursing me out at the drive thru speaker for not ordering! For Pete's sake, the kid just said, "welcome to Taco Bell, hold please..." I ASSumed he was trying to get the screaming banshee out of drive thru. Needless to say, he comes back and tells me their system went down. I get to the window, ask about App orders and I'm handed a now soggy Mexican Pizza and quesarito. A refund can't be processed because, ta da, their system went down. D'uh! I go home, write a complaint through the app. Friday afternoon, no one has called orce.ailed. I periodically call the store and no one answers the phone. By 3pm I called the 800-822-6235 number and voice a complaint. My complaint is escalated after I refuse a gift card. At 4:53 pm I get ahold of the Crossroads manager (I bet she runs the moment she picked up the phone) and she starts out being surprised and not knowing what had happened the night before (feigned, blissful ignorance, I'm sure) and eventually drops she'd had a few comaints but didn't know what had "like, umm, you know, happened..." (yes, for those old enough to get my reference to the 70s Valley Girl Moon Zappa) But I can refund your order and maybe like give you a $5 gift card... UMMMMM say WHAT??? Oh, no she di'n't!! I got the assignment and did the math--at $5.03/gal for my Honda Odyssey Premium gas guzzling behemoth, that sat in drive thru for 1-1/2 hour--it was about $25.00. At any time did your shift or asst mgr engage enough brain cells to begin getting cars out of drive thru? Ummm, let me answer that... NO! I asked for the District Manager's (DM) information. Apparently that is top secret and not even an email address can be shared. So.... I requested my information be shared with aforementioned DM Ann now I eagerly await... All I want to know, who is minding the store and do customers no longer matter? The poor new kid at the drive thru window was being given absolutely no direction and we, the unsuspecting customers paid the price. At over $5/gal, that's NOT a price i'm willing to bend over and suck it up... Epic fail, y'all read more

I waited about 10 minutes in the drive-through and thought I was lucky to not get stuck in the line. Having jumped out after seeing a vehicle not move, I decided to go in. I figured it was going to be much faster. Boy, was I wrong. The employees were chatting it up wasting everyone else's time. One guy came from outside another 10 minutes later along with an older female from the bathroom area. Vehicles were piling up outside as the inside had people standing around waiting for read more

The people who work here are terribly incompetent. They will take upwards of 10-15 minutes no matter the size of your order and every item will be broken, wildly misshapen or even missing ingredients like cheese or lettuce. I have no idea how anyone can mess up Taco Bell this badly and based on all reviews they do it every time everyday of the week. If you're one of the employees or managers reading this, f*ck you. read more

There was only one worker available and the drive thru was shut down. I ordered 10 mins prior to arriving and when I got there my food was not ready. There was no apology either. Not to mention the inside was filthy. The tables and chairs were dirty. It was a headset and some food on a table by the doorway that was half eaten. They were out of Cinnabons and offered Cinnamon Twist instead but that's not what I wanted. Some of my order was not made right or was just plain nasty. Terrible experience. read more

The night shift staff is rude, we were trying to order food and we were being patient but the girl taking our order kept screwing up the order, then someone else took over asked us if we were done ordering yet we said no and he said your total will be $28.92 we weren't even done yet and our order was not even complicated! Both staff members had attitudes, and They weren't even busy. You could also hear the music they were playing in the lobby word for word. My advice to the female employee taking orders at 11pm tonight listen to what people are ordering. And to the rest of the staff turn the music down so other staff can hear what is being ordered. Will not be returning to this location. read more

I love Taco Bell. But this location is trash!!!!! You will be waiting for your meal for AT LEAST ONE HOUR!! Horrible service!!!!!!

Shut them down. Waited 30 minutes to be told there were no more Mexican Pizzas when you could just put a sign up. Waited another 30 minutes to get the hell out of the drive thru because I didn't want anything else. You would think that you should plan for the volume of orders knowing it's a recently returned item that is super popular. Nope. You suck. PS learn how to park people so your lame a$$ drive thru runs more efficiently. Negative 10 stars. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! After 30 minutes we finally got our cups that we had to ask 3 times for and the tea is stale!! We waited for over 15 minutes for a refund. When we told the manager how long we had been waiting she just laughed and shook her head. Another customer told an employee that he had ordered on the app almost an hour ago and the employee laughed and said, worst Taco Bell ever huh! 48 minutes later we left without food. No less than 6 other customers before us and after we ordered got refunds and left as well. Looking at the reviews it seems this is regular thing for this location; not sure how they're still open. This is meant for the Taco Bell in Little Elm off of FM423 and El Dorado. Their websites are too close together.

Taco Bell Crossroads around 7:30pm 12/6. We have not been to a Taco Bell in forever. Well we decided to come here. We come in, saw that they had 2 Kiosk to order your food, cool. So we're trying to order our food that and could not figure out this one item that we wanted. No biggie, ya turn to the counter and go up to the register. Instead of taking orders she comes out from behind the counter and trying to help you figure it out after you've only deleted your whole entire order. OK, so we got our food and sat down. While eating, I was facing the kitchen. What do I see? I see the woman that is preparing your food on the line, cramming food in her mouth while she's preparing food on the line. She has the same gloves on that she just crammed in her mouth while eating food. While on the line. Gloves STILL on, still preparing food. that she STILL has ON!! I'm so grossed out right now! Y'all enjoy your food. Gross!!!!! https://yelp.to/qTKq/TyZfO5bed2 read more

Don't eat here!!! I warned you!!! Maybe come back in a year when people are trained!!!!

This Taco Bell is decent at best. I'm giving it a 1 star for today's terribly long wait in the drive thru and the fact I got a beef quesorito with nothing in it but queso and sour cream, and maybe a couple pieces of rice. Also a mess up in another burrito and a EXTREMELY COLD chicken quesadilla. Then I attempted to call the restaurant and I got a "uhhhh ok" when I told them about the food beiNg wrong. read more
