I almost wish I could give no stars. My family and I love Taco Bell - usually. We went last Sunday and it was horrible all around. It started with the intercom. It was very quiet and I could hardly understand the guy there. I was thankful for the screen where I could watch my order being taken. I ordered a box meal advertised on the board. He told me that it was not available, but the Cantina box was. I checked the menu - that box came with two cantina tacos, a burrito, cinnamon twists and a drink. I said ok that would work. When I pulled forward he took my money, did not give me a receipt (I paid with exact cash) and then asked me to pull up to the front of the store - he would bring it out - which I thought was odd because they were not busy at all. He brought my order and I checked it and noticed the cantina burrito was missing along with a burrito supreme. So, I went into the store. I stood at the counter and waited, and waited, and waited. The cooks looked up at me a few times. There were no other customers. Finally, I said excuse me three times - each time more loudly. Finally the guy at the window came and asked if he could help me. I told him that my order was missing two burritos. He said- ok, just a minute. Then a lady who was working in the kitchen came over. I told her that I was missing two burritos. She asked for my receipt- I told her I wasn't given one. I paid cash. She then took the list off the front of the bag - that had items only - not prices and told me that I did not pay for the burritos. I told her that I ordered the Cantina box and it comes with a burrito. She told me that the guy at the window did not order it as a box but rang it up separately. ‍ So I have what I paid for. Then she said, I can get your burritos, but it will be an extra $10. What?!? I watched the screen as he rang it up. I told her ai didn't want to pay an extra $10 when I believe I paid for it already. Her attitude was awful and condescending. I just left. THEN we got home and the tacos that came in the "Cantina Box" (that are more expensive than regular tacos by quite a bit) were pathetic!!! You could literally hold the taco up and see all the way through. It consisted of melted cheese on a taco shell with about 5 cubes of chicken and nothing else. Also - the cinnamon twists were not included.. Why argue rudely with a customer over a burrito that was their fault that got left out? What a disappointment all around. I will be driving a little further to avoid this Taco Bell until they figure some things out. read more

Several years ago I was visiting a friend who lived close to the US/Mexico border. While there we went out to an authentic Mexican restaurant, the kind that has no pictures or English on the menu. It was a Wednesday, so naturally I ordered the enchiladas. Suddenly, a truck that seemed way too expensive to be that dirty slid to a stop at the front door, and several men jumped out before the dust cloud reached its zenith. They grabbed a man from a booth and took him outside. Myself and several other customers ran to the windows to see what this commotion was all about. We witnessed the man forced to his knees and a plastic bag placed around his head until he stopped squirming. Then, with a metallic flash, his head was removed from his body and placed on his now motionless torso. One of the men came back inside and went to his table, grabbed a taco from his plate, and went out and placed it in the man's mouth. It was a horrific sight. To this day I get uneasy feeling a cheap waxy tablecloth touch my skin. This Taco Bell was the worst experience of my life involving a taco. read more

DO NOT order uber eats from this Taco Bell it takes FOREVER!!! We order Uber Eats at numerous different restaurants and this Taco Bell is the only place we have issues getting our food. For example, tonight we ordered a small order and we are still waiting over an hour later. It's 5 minutes away, it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare the food, there are plenty of Uber Eats drivers in the area. It shows as they are "preparing" the order FOREVER every time we order. I do believe they receive the order and fulfill all the drive thru orders as the Uber orders just sit there. If you're not going cooperate in the program appropriately, just don't participate. This has everything to do with the blatant disregard to actually sell a good product given the world's covid-19 situation. Let's start with the drive through personnel. There was one car in front of me in line and the restaurant team seemed to be acting as if there is a rush. This was at 7:50pm!! With no one in line I continued and ordered a #5 Nacho's bel grande (weak as hell when received) new packaging with literally no cheese or meat.. I asked for a 5 layer burrito with no beans.. instead they decided to give me a 2 hour old burrito full of beans. Really bad service and false business hours, even on the literal Taco Bell app. It says they are open until 3am, for this specific location. I work overnights nearby and only have 2 fast food options to choose from on the nights that I forget to pack lunch, this Taco Bell being one of them. So plenty of nights in the past, I have gone to this location to grab a couple tacos through the drive through and placed the order on the Taco Bell app at about 2am. It has never been an issue ordering an hour before they supposedly close and I never order a large amount of food anyways. But 2 times in the past week or so, I have ordered on the app and then driven to this location, just to be completely ignored at the drive through speaker or either told that it's too late for them to make my order, regardless of the app allowing me to order it and charging my card for the purchase. I think it's ridiculous that they allow you to place orders but then tell you they can't make it once you arrive at the store. They need to update their hours if they are not willing to make food an hour before close. read more

I ordered Nachos Bell Grande with NO meat...vegetarian style...I don't know how many different ways that I could have said it. I checked the box when they gave it to me and it looked like beans, no meat, but when I got home, there was meat all over the place. So we're having a party and I ordered two taco party packs on the app to be picked up via drive thru. The app charged me for my order via Apple Pay and didn't ask me for any more info so I tried calling their store FIVE times to confirm the got my order. They didn't answer any of my calls so I went ahead and drove there to pick it up assuming, because I was charged, that my order would be fulfilled. We arrived to the drive thru and they had no mobile orders and asked us to come to the window. I showed them I was charged and told them my order only for them to tell me they don't accept Apple Pay so they don't have my order and can't refund me and that I needed to contact corporate. I never make reviews that are negative but this one is a must... horrid experience for my 10 year old and I. The girl through the drive through speaker was rude and unprofessional. I felt better with the sweet girl that gave us our food though. She was sweet and clearly uncomfortable as well. I made it home 10 minutes later and told my husband about the experience after he saw our order was all wrong. At that point he had tried to call to speak to the manager and she answered 3 times saying she was the manager and hung up on him after being insanely rude.. I finally called back myself and asked nicely what her name was and she said it is Juanita... only got that after she was rude and screamed to a sweet girl that had answered the phone. She was the most rude, impolite and nastiest person I've ever dealt with in customer service and that says a ton ... I'm 40 years old and I am a mom of 4 and way too old to be disrespected. This establishment disappointed me. I worked fast food when I was young and this young lady sets a bad precedence for those around her. I'm all about being modern and using the "next thing" out there. But not everyone is like me. Walking in the guy upfront tells us "Hey, if you're ready to order, order through the kiosk behind you." Okay cool, I don't mind. As I sat down to eat I notice he was telling everyone this. Some people got it right away other struggled. One customer, for instance, didn't want to use the kiosk and wanted to just pay cash at the counter, the manager told him to use the kiosk and then he'll ring him up. Guy went on saying, why can't you take my order here. The employee just told him, no to use the kiosk. The customer walked out and Taco Bell lost a customer at that moment. That employee needs to understand, Not everyone wants to use the Kiosk, don't be lazy and do the job! Food was okay. read more

Food is cold, not fresh and falls apart when taking out of the bag. Dr Pepper is not as fresh as it could be. Got a soft taco with a crunch wrap. Soft taco stuck to the bag it was in and fell apart as I pulled it out to try and enjoy. Took a bite and realized it was cold. The meat was cold enough to have been taken from the fridge. The nachos was soupy and ill prepared. Hard taco was broken and messy and cold as well. It seems like there is no real leadership to make sure the food is good and fresh. Been here a couple of times. I'm sure I'll get the kiosk order within the next two times I go. NOT. My wife went and the staff just stood around holding down the counter watch everyone try to figure out the kiosk. No one could and finally asked if they could take the order. They shrugged and said I suppose. Meanwhile there was a line forming outside restaurant. Once they, the ones that actually work for Taco Bell, started taking the orders the line went away. Will drive down to Little Elm, over to Denton or Mckinney to get my Taco Bell fix. Will not go back in these doors again!! If I had the money to purchase this location I would and fire the managers.
